  1. The switches have been modified to make it more compact to allow for the standard parallel running of the tracks (8 stud gap between tracks). I have done this myself - it's just a matter of cutting the switches in the right spot. If you do a search you'll be able to find a few examples!
  2. A Christmas train would definately be a cool addition seeing as the last one was just before I got back into LEGO. I'd be happy for either a Steamer or a Diesel loco - but would prefer Steam, with a Passenger car and Flatbed. Eek exciting times ahead!
  3. Oh man that's going to be huge!
  4. Ugh I wanted the Amusement park theme for city not for friends!!
  5. Wow it's looking fantastic! Yes we will have to look into what pieces are available but I think I prefer the darker purple!
  6. Nice work!! You are having fun with LDD and Blue Render aren't you!!
  7. I have another challenge for you then after the Scooby mansion and it is Lego movie based..... and thats the Steam Train from the Wild West scenes... not sure if there are enough reference photo's for you but that would be a nice challenge!
  8. My head says woohoo my wallet says ouch! But can't wait to see the updates!
  9. Oh thats nice! Would make a great train / bus station as well!!
  10. I'll try not to swear so HOLY CRAP thats going to be huge and awesome!!
  11. You don't know how excited this makes me!! I'm a huge Scooby Doo fan ever since I was a kid - so much that my family nickname is Scooby!! Once you are done with the greenhouse let me know so I can start ordering the bricks!
  12. YES Excellent!!! I am so excited and looking forward to this!! I am going to start displaying at local lego shows next year and I'm hoping to be able to brick build and take this!! Looking forward to seeing it progress!
  13. Amazing work! I've been trying to figure out how to do this for quite some time so I too eagerly await the LDD to have a look and probably build one for my park too! Love your work!
  14. Excellent! I would love to put it in brick form so I'll be looking forward to seeing how you go!
  15. If anyone is interested in building the mystery mansion from the animated lego scooby doo short I have attached some screen shots for reference. I have many more in a photo bucket album if anyone wants more + some internal shots.
  16. I know I'm hijacking your thread a little bit but here are a couple of screen shots from the Scooby Doo short I was telling you about. I have a lot of them so if you want anymore just let me know! I have inside and out.
  17. Still waiting for a Zoo or Circus City Sub theme! They have been doing them in Duplo for years so not sure why they won't in LEGO! Or if they could bring back the Safari or Farming theme that would be great too!
  18. Really like the Mikado and the Christmas train! Can you provide some closer shots of the Christmas wagons?
  19. I use 6ft blow molded folding tables (roughly $30 from Bunnings) with 2m x 1m sheets of 9mm plywoof on top. I have tables at the moment and allows me to move them around if I need to! If you search for my layout thread in the train forum you can see what I mean.
  20. Yes it's different same colour scheme and similar design but probably the size of 2-3 modulars. I'll try and post some screen shots later.
