  1. To work with the excavator the dumper has to be a big build. So its not realistic to think it would be included. I agree it may come later as another utilization of the license agreement. It is going to be a very nice looking big truck.
  2. For B model we are limited in choices by no wheels and no strings. I think that leaves not many options, such as another excavator or some LEGO fantasy "Futuristic ...." model.
  3. Isn't 42110 the next in line to 42056 and 42083? I'm certain, unlike we hope for, it won't get RC but would rather get high part count and complex functions. Besides, the brand royalty. B model is also not probable. Will it include the tough spring which is now a rare expensive part?
  4. +1 so whats the matter with you 1973 born guys? ? I got set 50 as my 1st LEGO in 1981. I remember dad got it for US$27. Jim please forgive these few off topics. Are you born in 1973 Jim? ?
  5. 42098 seems a lot of fun to motorize with BuWizz. There s plenty of space and interesting functions. I also like this blue Camaro. Very original and way better than 42093. Luckiest AFOLs are those coming now and they have 42100 as all in one package. Except for some wheels of course :-) And 42099 seams unpleasantly fat at the bottom.
  6. I have this idea since a while and maybe will do it, but if I do it I will make it higher and include a foldable work table. Did you give it a nice finish yet? If so I'm interested to see the update.
  7. True, unless you plan to use the below part ( with M motor) for return to center: Which is my case. Thus I shifted to pivot steering.
  8. Now on to the steering. Anybody can check this please: Sariel book 1 - lever steering figure 14.10: It looks to me there is a mistake. In the 1st figure which shows centered steering position, the horizontal knob gear is placed in X position while the axle passing through it must be in + position.
  9. Good Morning. As skppo suggested. A rectangle solved! I used this rectangle to embrace the motor in.
  10. I got your interest in 42009. Its more interesting and challenging build for the deep Technic fan. But if I were you and having all the sets you mentioned I'd check Rebrickable.com for the parts I miss from 42009 if I buy 8043 and get them along with the instructions and stickers from Bricklink. I did that myself ( collect missing parts of 42009 from BL) and now almost done. One tough part to get is 5x16L axle. For that I bought 3x32L axles and will cut them in half.
  11. Thanks Milan. We do plan to steer the final product. I made a trial before this with the old diff and it was working nice. I switched to this as it helped creating symmetric build with the given motor shape, which helps keeping the model smaller and faster.
  12. I will try that. Any other suspected sources?
  13. Hi everybody. I got recently one RC Buggy motor. I plan to get another one when I have chance but for now me and my son decided to make an RC car with that. I built the drive so far as in the picture. It works fine but with one problem, when the car drives forward on the ground there is sound of gear skipping. This doesn't happen when driving backwards. Ideas and help are appreciated.
  14. Each motor presents extra load to the other. The effect is nothing more. So the result is the total power available as output is less than the sum of each motor's power had it been put alone. I used 2 XL motors in all of my work on my TC10 entry for weeks and for extended times and they are still like bulls :-)
  15. 42030 + 42042 for $100 like new and stickers still on sheet from a guy who got bored of Technic. I just bought new instructions from Bricklink for some $15 total and trashed the used ones.
  16. I got pdf taken seems fromLDD when I purchased. Not very nice instruction. Now I wonder if you got the same. I contacted them today asking for help.
  17. I'm struggling a lot trying to get GBC 10 to work. I seem unable to make the gearbox work as intended and the ferris wheel sometimes hangs and never lands the ball as should be. I also have issues with the sprocket wheel lifting mechanism.Anyone has hints?
  18. I'm struggling a lot with PV 42042 GBC. I have to contact them now for help after consuming a lot of time trying to get the build to work.
  19. Huge effort that enriches our To-Do library. Many thanks!
  20. 42061 no gears for hand rotation?
  21. 42066 will break the sound barrier of sales! I wonder could it have been better if they used for the front a light blue version of the red part of the front of the 42064 ship?
  22. Yes I know I could buy that, on Bricklink also. But this is ridiculous price for just one piece. Wow this is sure also interesting. What is really weird here is this rare part first ever appeance in a B model ! I cannot wait to build these 2 sets.
  23. Or if feasible, eliminate the entry topic altogether by enforcing a specific format for the title of the discussion topic (such as starts with [TC10] ) so they can be collected by a script. Of course in this case the contestant's first post would be required to be updated with pics, video, and any other requirements.
