  1. Agreed, City Vehicles are really well priced for their sized.. But for buildings, they City sets feel almost criminal. For those, I stick to Creator stuff..
  2. A list of parts used or maybe an LDD would have been so good..
  3. Well done.. Now MOC the Tim Burton Batmobile and we'll be talking :D
  4. Style won over substance and Camper Van was ordered.. Along with the Snow Plough Truck, Oopsie.. :)
  5. Well, Stitch really grew on me. So it will be Cheshire, Alice and Stitch for me.. Missus wants the ducks so those also.. At least she didnt adk for the mice..Still hope Goofy and Sullivan make S2.
  6. Hello. Which is the better set between Van & Caravan vs Camper Van? Former has a much better price per brick but latter appears to be a better model?..
  7. Alice, Cheshire, and Stitch for me. Donald and Daisy for the missus. Hopefully in the second wave we will have Sullivan, Wazowski, Mad Hatter, Wall-E.
  8. They refused to ship and cancelled my order.. :( Oh well...
  9. Every set released in the last half a decade would have benefited from a few good baseplates. Lego no longer produces these in house, that's why they don't put them in boxes anymore, right? All I wanted from this set was a detailed Hoth Hangar that could fit the current Snowspeeder model inside and an Echo Base control room. What I got was a lot of stuff I have zero interest for. Disappointmentton total. I wonder if Lego actually did any focus testing etc. before theming this set..
  10. Instructions or at least a parts list for those of us who would like to bricklink that beauty would be great..
  11. Thanks for all the replies, and I didn't mean to offend anyone by 'gents' - I suppose english being my secondary language I seem to have started the thread on the wrong foot :( As it seems none of these sets are extraordinarily rare, I suppose I will go for the one that looks best. Being a corner building, I would have thought Palace Cinema would have been the recommendation here. :) How about the Ferris Wheel? Is it by any means a rare set?
  12. Grabbed a Shuttle Tydirium ($35) and Rey's Speeder ($12) on a clearance sale.. I think these are pricing errors, let's see whether they honor the purchase and actually ship.. :D
  13. This looks surprisingly like the Friends Lighthouse I was going to buy my wife.. I might hold on for this.. Or not.. :S Not sure..
  14. Local LEGO shop restocked one of each, one of them shall be mine as a birthday for my wife, but which should I get? Pet Shop Palace Cinema Parisian Restaurant Detective's Office I'm trying to pick the rarest (but also the most interesting..) Thank you in advance :) Edit by Hinckley: Try to choose topic titles that aren't long sentences or full questions. Also, that don't exclude females as we have many fans of all genders here. Thank you.
  15. I'm amazed at how underwhelming the summer sets are.. Is the Resistance X-Wing Fighter basically a color swap for Poe's X-Wing Fighter? I can see no changes to the build whatsoever, but the piece count is somehow higher? Also, the Vader TIE Advance x1 vs A-Wing couldn't have been a worse disappointment.. What the hell is that A-Wing?
  16. Absolutely perfect.
  17. Very meh.. I'd personally have preferred a detailed Hoth Hangar than this.
  18. Another excellent set I will never be able to afford. Sad is me.
  19. Zev Senesca is a minor Star Wars character?.. I feel OLD. To me the Clone Wars and Rebels characters are minor, Zev is a damn Rogue pilot!
  20. Been following set information to see what would make a good gift for the wife in 2016.. I was kind of interested in the Lakeside Lodge, but she already owns Lego Mountain Hut and this just seems to be a smaller rehash of the same theme, so that is a pass for me. That said, the Corner Deli looks like a fantastic set to me. It would look so cool with Bike Shop & Cafe on either side as a city corner diaroma. I've got my eyes on you, Corner Deli.
  21. In my defence, we do know the piece count and minifigs that come with the Resistance Troop Transport.. $70 for 625 pcs (or thereabouts IIRC) is steep.
  22. Terribly unhappy with the price of the Resistance Troop Transport set.
  23. The Advaced and Ghost microfighters actually look decent to me, but I'm not into those things or collectiong minifigs, so pass. The A-Wing has long since been rumored to be blue and the Rebels version, which is based on the original McQuarrie concept art: If it looks more like this and less like the cartoon feel of Rebels (see Wookie transport..) I would really want to have it. That Resistance Troop Transport, however.. Must.. Have it..
  24. I really can't get over how good the Resistance Troop Transport looks, I love the ship, and I have no clue why, but I absolutely adore it. I'm so glad I didn't get the B-Wing now, this is such a better but similar model. Are there any high res photos of this yet?
