  1. Oh.. Is his board nick Markus?
  2. I think D&D's new model of releasing whole campaigns would suit a minifigure RPG really well. Write a plot involving three major encounters, pack each encounter into a different set that serves as a battle map and scenery and include the story/rules booklet with it (it could include character/equipment/battle rules and the bestiary) Then release blind bag characters and monsters for each module, and watch it print money.
  3. This one specifically: Apparently it was a limited number giveaway of sorts? I can't find any instructions anywhere, all help would be welcome..
  4. If I had so many sets and such a long display bench I would definitely lay them out in order of appearance in the movies; i.e. Tantive IV, Escape Pod, Jawa Sandcrawler, Mos Eisley Cantina, Millenium Falcon, TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced x1, Y-Wing, X-Wing, Death Star.. You know, that jazz :)
  5. There are about a million of these around where I live, and I can definitely feel a lot of shark guys in bags when I try.. Should I use the opportunity to stock up on a dozen of these guys? What else from this wave will be rare and valuable do you think?
  6. Jang should probably submit his MOC to Ideas..
  7. I'll never understand the love for the Empire BPs. I'd rather have the Imperial Troop Transport than the Empire BP any day - those cracked helmets really get on my nerves.. To each their own I guess :)
  8. Minecraft is an odd one.. It's like, Lego, the Video Game.. And then there is the Miecraft Lego line.. You know, kind of like Street Fighter The Movie The Game.. in that, yes, it's pretty terrible.
  9. To his credit, this is not a discussion about Nexo Knights?
  10. Even AFOLs have budgets, having the AT-AT on market at a time when TFA sets were being launched would cannibalize them..
  11. There are usually only 2-3, at most 4 figures I really want in every series.. and I end up with some I don't much care for because I'm new to 'feeling' packages.. But with S16 there are.. let me see, Banana Suit Guy, Penguin Suit Guy, Rogue, Pirate, Ice Queen, Imp, and possibly Spy and Arabian Knight. I'm screwed.
  12. As incredible as it is, that's a bit too steep for me.. But that was expected with the brick count. I should probably look around for a good 'mini' scale MOC at around 500-1,000pcs I guess :D
  13. I recently started collecting minifigures.. I'm trying to get a hold of at least one of each major character from the movie. I also have a lot of catching up to do with the CMF series, especially music/medieval/pirate ones :)
  14. Wyldstyle with Open Mouth and Confused Unikitty minifigures. Now I just need Benny, Batman and Vitruvius.
  15. Well.. Going character by character, any pointers towards which sets/figures could contain the following would be great: Dexter Morgan (Day): Short sleeved, light colored shirt, tan colored pants, dark orange ruffled hair, any neutral face with a slight stubble, camera as accessory. Could alternatively wear a white lab coat on top. Dexter Morgan (Night): Olive green long sleeved sweater with buttons at the neck, preferrably last few open. Light brown or Olive Green pants with pockets on the legs, black gloves, knife as accessory. Alternatively, could wear a brown/black apron on top. Debra Morgan: Basically a dark grey/black business suit/skirt, maybe with a police badge on it, pretty female face, black long straight hair, handgun Walter Bishop: Long sleeved jumper over shirt, preferrably in dark earth tones, dark grey pants, elder clean shaven face, grey ruffled hair. Alternatively could be dressed in white lab coat or a brown woolen coat over the sweater. Olivia Dunham: Same as Debra Morgan but blonde long straight hair in pony tail and a light grey business suit/pants Walter White: Shirt, dark colored jacket, dark colored pants, pork pie hat, shades, head with goatee and serious look, money and handgun.. Alternatively, same dude in yellow hazmat suits.. Jesse Pinkman: Basically very loose skater clothes, blond very short hair and a stubble.. That helps? :)
  16. Oh that Venator...... How much it would cost to bricklink that I wonder....
  17. Now you need to replace all lbg parts with white. :)
  18. Hoth looks terrible enough by itself. It would only look so much worse next to such an awesome set as the AT-AT.
  19. Kitbashing, in reference to another hobby of mine, is using bits and pieces of different kits to build a model to represent a wholly different figure.. I don't know if the term applies to minifigures, or if there is a different term for this, but I want to kitbash a couple of pop culture minifigures as a gift. Specifically, I want to kitbash Dexter Morgan and Debra Morgan (Dexter), Walter White and Jesse Pinkman (Breaking Bad) and Olivia Dunham and Walter Bishop (Fringe). I'm quite new to collecting minifigures and bricklinking, so I thought I would ask Eurobricks' suggestions as to which legs, torsos, heads, hair/hats and accessories would probably work best for representing these characters. I apologize if this is not really the best place to ask but it seemed to be the most relevant :)
  20. I really hope the Rogue One sets give us a Y-Wing with the detail of 9495 and shape of 7658..
  21. No, I actually bought it off an acquaintance I traded Warhammer 40K figures/bitz before. He does deal with Chinese recasters, so I probably should have assumed there would be knockoffs in the bunch. Actually, the more I look at the lot, the more I suspect there are knockoffs among the rest, but none are as obvious as the stormtroopers, they are either very good clones or poor originals.. Now I'm really torn between just sticking these into a display frame or asking to return them, which would probably be incomprehensible to him..
  22. Its worst when you are feeling cmf bags and a store clerk eyes you and obviously goes wth.. I sometimes blatantly hit on these to make things even creepier. I once told one I just cant help feeling overly dressed beautiful things like herself. It actually worked.
  23. Ok so I ended up with some knockoff stormtroopers (it's a long story) and I mean to return them.. But the thing is, they don't really look like any stormtroopers I know.. I did an online search for knockoff storm troopers and this is pretty much what they look like.. Is this actually a clone of any real existing stormtrooper, or is it just a weird amalgamation of existing designs? If it's actually not an exact copy, I might keep them as novelties..
  24. I really wonder how Nexo Knights are doing sales wise. It would be really amusing if a NK set ended up on the best selling list in 2016.
  25. Could you poat the active chemicsls in brasso so İ can find a local substitute?
