Oh.. Yeah I get that, I dislike the damaged stormtroopers in the galactic empire bp as well - went for stocking on the rebels stormtroopers from the troop transport set instead. they don't rub me wrong like they do most other people, interestingly.

Don't give them ideas for the eventual AT-AT.. Six-shooter stud launchers ON EACH SIDE YEAH!

You can't find any Galactic Empire Battlepacks where you live?

Love the ship but it looks more Babylon 5 than Star Wars to me :)

Lego have managed to release a Rogue One set wave with absolutely nothing I have any interest in owning (maybe, just maybe except the U-Wing but there are so many better sets in the backlog to buy - and that includes Tydirium which is a MUCH better deal than this - that even it will have to be skipped). That's quite a feat. Good luck to them. I hope they wake up one day and remember it's 2016 not 1996. They either have to control their information better or deal with it. Or they can try to sue some people, I guess.

I like collecting City truck sets.. The garbage truck was kind of a letdown. Any cool trucks for the rest of the year I wonder :)

Modding Tie Advanced Prototype (75082) into Vader's TIE (75150)?
appiah4 replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
That would be really nice, but an LDD or parts list would have been so much better. I'm no newbie to Lego but I haven't been into it for such a long time before 2015 that I have very little knowledge of most contemporary bricks and build methods :( -

Alright, cheers :) Will very gladly turn my Prototype into a Vader TIE in a couple weeks :) -
Modding Tie Advanced Prototype (75082) into Vader's TIE (75150)?
appiah4 replied to appiah4's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks like I'll have to get the instruction manuals and make a piece count list for each and figure out the differences myself :( I'll actually post the list here if anyone else is interested in bricklinking the differences. EDIT: Ufortunately building instructions for the new set are not available on the LEGO site? :( -
Grabbed a 75082 Adcanced Prototype on a half price sale. Dont care for Rebels but can one ever have too many TIEs? Got my eyes open for a deal on Reys speeder or Troop Transport now..

Modding Tie Advanced Prototype (75082) into Vader's TIE (75150)?

I guess thats what Im trying to do but the parts list is for 75150 isthe two ship builds combined so hard to go into rebrickable and get a shopping list :-( -
Why are nice things in life so expensive...

I went in to buy Rey's Speeder.. It was OOS, so I thought I would impulse buy a few microfighters for the minifigs..

As a gift during my Dark Ages, my sister had gotten me a box of the Clone Walker Battle Pack all the way back in 2009.. I had gotten the thing, built the walker, thought it looked like nothing in the Star Wars cannon, tore it down and stored it up somewhere. Now that I'm out of my Dark Ages, I went back to it, and found out that the minifigs are awesome, and there are actually more than enough parts to build an actual canon walker with.. So I sat down last night, and built this: EDIT: I realize it should be called an AT-RT, typo on my part.. Would be great if a mod could fix the subject :( Super happy with how it turned out so I thought I would share :)

Lego CLASSIC boxes.. Which is the best one to get a starter?
appiah4 replied to appiah4's topic in Special LEGO Themes
10697 is OOS Im afraid. 10702 then! Thanks. :) -
I'm thinking of grabbing one of the available CLASSIC boxes for a beginner. Specifically, my choices are: 10692, 10693, 10694, 10695, 10696, 10698, 10702 Looking at price per brick, 10695 and 10702 look unbeatable.. Is there a catch? Is there any one that I should really go for because of brick types? Cheers

On the one hand, a Creator Expert Beetle (especially in Love Bug Herbie colors) would be awesome. One the other hand, I still haven't even been able to justify buying the F40 :(

I got the set and I just wanted to thank all the "go for it" advice, fantastic set, along with the Snowplough Truck easily one of the best City sets of the last few years IMO :) One can never have too many trucks I guess!

Got my first Friends set ever, 41037 Stephanie's Beachhouse, for my SO :) Hope she loves it.. Since I already paid for the shipping, I went ahead and got a 60020 Cargo Truck for my self while at it. :D

Alright, let me grab a second shark suit guy on my way home today.. I think the Tiger Woman will also be one to keep.. That whip and smirk, it's the first BDSM minifig I'd say. -

There has been literally no inflation to speak of in the world in the last half a decade. There have even been periods of deflation. Moreover, with the level of oil prices as they are, plastic is cheap as dirt. The inflation story has no legs to stand on, I think a lot of the price hikes are not warranted.- 4,155 replies

I was about to type NO then I had the common sense to check and it's true.. Yet the most I ended up paying for a blindbag of S15 was $3.00 and I even managed to grab some for $2.50..- 4,155 replies
