Without saying what the info actually is, what’s the source? -
Can’t an AAA hub have two rocker switches on the top of the battery box, with some lever mechanism pressing them? I don’t see anything about this model that demands an axle hole connection

From the photos I’ve seen, it should just be big enough -
I'm almost certain this is just them trying to make people have to buy sets instead of just electronics.

Easy - have balls come in through the entry hole, flying in over the ones getting pushed out by the screw. -
Honestly I don't think this is important at all. There's plenty of cheap pieces that adapt between Technic and System. It's also not as if it's difficult to do even numbers with Technic. Why not two power buttons on a AAA hub like the smart Technic hub?

Also, I like almost everything about this set, except for the tail body - it’s so much longer than in real life

Personally, I think the reason they went with the giant drum is because it’ll be extremely useful in GBCs. I bet we’ll see a GBC moc that pretty much just uses this set -
So it seems that they opted for only two ports because then they could implement two independent switches

I’m genuinely curious as to wtf is going on in the back, because I wouldn’t have expected a gearbox of all things it’s a shame about the lack of suspension, but I’m glad there seems to be an actual reason for its absence

To be honest, I'm not 100% sure what it's called. I always just called it pendular because when one side goes up, the other comes down

Edited my comment. I used Kbalage's video to get a zoomed pic and then upped the brightness. Not at all, look at this:

What about with the motor in the middle, and rerouting the shafts through articulated turntables?
