  1. No mate, we have no issues with you posting pics to your builds. That body panel mod you added to the Chiron, for instance, is a really good idea. That’s not why your experience has sucked here. You’ve ruined your own experience by having a ree and a sook about how we make fun of you for continually trying to peddle claims that you can’t even support with any modicum of evidence (the Sian WILL be gold, the box WILL NOT look like that, despite all evidence clearly pointing to the contrary) and then using just the worst hyperbole as argument techniques (for example saying everyone can photoshop a picture). I hope you reconsider, because it’s just childish.
  2. Add improved proportions in the rear to the list, and white 1 stud headlights
  3. Nah nah nah, you've got it the wrong way round. The Chiron only costing $400 was the real atrocity here
  4. Did you also sputter in rage at how good Canada got it with the Chiron, Liebherr, Charger, Defender and the 4x4? They still get it really good with the Sian at $490CAD, although not as good as the Chiron (thank the gods). I'm low-key delighted whenever the Canadians get screwed on price. It's the small victories that count
  5. Lol I know right. But nah, seeing it move around definitely has helped me. There's worth in trying to fix a few of the messed up proportions in the back of course though. I have the same feelings as with the 42110 Defender. I didn't really like the front, but after building it and getting a feel for it in person, I'm much more impressed. In about two years' time you'll be able to snag it for 33% off secondhand I reckon. That's what I'm seeing with the Chiron now
  6. Having seen these two videos, I'm now a lot more open to it. The rear diffuser does stick out at the sides, but having now seen it moving around and being handled I think I'm sold on it It's a very impressive model, and definitely a step up from the Chiron in aesthetic accuracy
  7. The Bugatti got leaked a day before the official release too
  8. I think I know exactly what it is that I don't like about the back: The middle piece on the tail lights gives them this weird split look that isn't in the real car. I think two 1x1 half circle tiles would've been a better choice (although obvs not perfect). The tail fins are far too tall, and they don't sweep inwards as they move down the bumper. Luckily the height looks as easy to fix as removing one of the beams along its height. The whole rear bumper isn't swept enough compared to the real car, making it look really disproportionate at the back, especially towards the bottom. The diffuser isn't swept at all, and top of it even sticks out, completely unlike the real model. The curved panel really doesn't belong at all. I think that might be why we haven't gotten a closeup pic of the back from the side yet. The paneling right behind the rear wheels isn't wedge shaped at all, and is far too vertical. This is a photo of the real car's rear quarters: I don't think TLC's done a good enough job to make me want to throw down $600AUD+ for it It's been shown that the lower back and rear quarters can be done better:
  9. Thanks, oh man I think I like that more than lime
  10. I'd love if someone could do a quick colour change on it so we could see how it would've looked in Defender green
  11. The front looks really nice, but I'm not sold on the proportions of the back half - I've seen better
  12. Interesting, the seats are DBG. Still no pics of the back, damn
  13. The front of MK’s Sian isn’t as well done, namely because the splitter is a bit too low, but the back is pretty much perfect. That’s in the real car, albeit slightly smaller. It should be an easy fix
  14. These poor proportions don’t look like limitations of Technic to me.
  15. Ahh, yours is exactly how I wanted to see Lego do theirs, with the drivers all grouped in two bogies
  16. That's actually exactly why I wanted to ask. I had a cheeky look on Wikipedia and it said that they have articulated bodies. The current articulation solution is a bit iffy imo. I reckon it would have been way cooler to have the inner drivers linked to the others (with the second axles obviously unflanged), so that power could be routed through the articulated join in each bogie to deliver it to all the drivers equally, or even to the main driver crank. And to add to that, you can clearly see that the front sections are also 7 studs wide. The tiling on the top indicates that each snout is 5 studs across. This is a really welcome surprise
  17. Wait what? If anything, that goes directly into the Technic mantra of function over form.
  18. That logic really only works for me if they're not charging huge money, which they are :S
  19. Question, are real crocodile locomotives articulated?
  20. Honestly, I dunno if TLC would want to do that. Sets generally go through a thorough design process, so I'd imagine they'd want to do a proper design for multiple additional rolling stock too (maintain the standard of quality and all that jazz), which costs time and money. Even then, it's kinda a niche thing, and people may just source the parts on BrickLink for cheaper. In any case, I don't think it's economically viable for them to do so. But it would be nice I think they're also releasing a new crocodile because they liked the old 12V prototype and decided it was worth retrying - didn't someone mention something about TLC saying they wanted to dig deep into the vault, or something along those lines?
  21. I think GITD would be cool, and definitely within the realm of possibility. The MK Sian is supposed to have GITD lights too I think
  22. I’d wager impossible to be honest. Electronics are gonna raise the price even more.
  23. “Here is a brickbuilt box that looks like an electric motor” is my bet, not that there’s anything better that they could realistically do
