  1. Looks well made :) Have you experimented with other colours for the body? Also, don't be too fazed by the "literally unwatchable" crowd, your recording isn't that bad
  2. I used to hate 42066's design, but it's starting to grow on me :D
  3. Ah, okay. How's the project coming along?
  4. If that's how 42066 looks then I'm really disappointed. I was hoping for something resembling at least a Blue Angels F18 (different colours and slightly different shape at least). Better yet, I really hope one of the 2H sets will be a Tiltrotor
  5. If that's the case then how does it handle the S-bends in junctions?
  6. Does it? I honestly can't see the springs. The front axle looks like it's connected to a black one of these: https://rebrickable.com/parts/32013
  7. If you put the name of the set into Google Translate, it returns "Remote Controlled Tracked Racer"
  8. Observations/special pieces - this is in case the Imgur link goes dead. EDIT: Removed all information that Saberwing40k already mentioned, so think of this post as a continuation of his comment. 42057 Ultralight helicopter: Just another note about the rear stabilisers - they appear to only be connected via a linkage and nothing else, which I'm worried could leave them flopping around when being swooshed. 42058 Stunt bike: I CALLED IT. IT'S IN THE LEGO RACERS STYLE . Seriously though Saberwing40k, I'm super impressed you also noticed the 3L driving ring for the muffler. The handlebars contain Bohrok eyes which appear to be in silver. 42059 Stunt truck: This set closely resembles a roided up Baja truck. I nearly had a heart attack when I looked at this set and thought it was teal. I guess that dream can crash and burn :( It's pretty cool to have another set that comes in the same light blue as 42050 from 2016. 42060 Road construction vehicles: Street cleaners turn out to actually be road construction vehicles; pack it up guys, we're leaving You can just make out the HOG steering on the roof of the tipper bed truck. No idea whether the tipper can lift or not, but I'd wager on that being a yes. The digger/excavator/engineering abomination comes with a lot of mini tracks. Given the reflection coming off the nose of the truck, I think it could be made of curved System pieces, but I could be wrong. 42061 Telescopic handler: Arocs gear rack makes a return! Unusually, the handler isn't equipped to lift pallets, but rather has a bucket. Bit of an odd choice. 42062 Container transport: AROCS GEAR RACK IN LIGHT GREY, HAIL DENMARK Also, mini orange panels! Telescopic handler has rear wheel steering. The trailer looks really boring, and the truck definitely has a U-joint somewhere inside the cab to accommodate the steering function. 5x7 beam frames and 5x11 light grey panels ahoy :) I wish we'd get 5x7 beam frames in different colours though . 42063 BMW R 1200 GS Adventure: SHORT CURVED PANEL IN TRANS WHITE. I can't make out any front suspension though. Black wheels and silver bendy tubes, yay! There are black and blue panels around the fuel tank too. Also to note, there are angled axle connectors in blue scattered throughout the bodywork. 42064 Research vessel: I'm really creeped out right now because honestly the ship is 100% how I imagined it to look. There are many beams in the hull in Metru blue. The two black gears on the top of the bridge may control some function (hidden propeller steering perhaps?). I wouldn't be surprised if steering is the case, as there looks to be a red layer of beams on the bottom sides of the hull, possibly enough to accommodate rolling wheels. Also, this set really looks like it could be in minifig scale! 42065 Remote controlled tracked racer: Again, this set is essentially a Baja truck, only with tracks. Large gear sprockets now come in white! There's two 1m beams with two axles at 90 degrees in black holding the headlights. The spoiler is a black 3x11 panel. I'm seriously crushed about the lack of suspension though . All in all 1H looks pretty solid. I just wish there would be more special steering components (more ballsockets and springs on smaller sets pls TLG). Now we just have to wait for the 2H list.
  9. Way to steal my thunder
  10. There you go :) Pantograph by Bartybum, on Flickr
  11. Dude I've always wanted to see someone try make a Class 390, and you've done it beautifully! If you haven't yet done the pantograph I can send you an image of a slim and easily modifiable design I use.
  12. Maybe he made a pneumatic engine?
  13. They were still ugly as hell. Also, I think Logan was talking about their looks, not how they actually felt. As for resembling past forms, all the Nuva masks aside from the Hau and the Akaku are really stretching it. My favourites were (top 3 in order & excluding G2): the Faxon, Arthron and Adaptive Miru. Least favourites: the Kanohi Nuva and the Inika masks.
  14. Is the front end ride height something that could be modified by replacing some of the bricks on the bottom?
  15. DUDE what the hell, are they all built at the moment? If so then you are mental. I'm so jealous
  16. Just a note, LEGO shocks are just simple coils and therefore follow Hooke's law i.e. compression force is linearly proportional by some factor to their compression). Having two in half compression in the center position would work in theory. You'd just need stiff shocks to do this, because of the model's weight and the tyres' friction against the surface. Consequently you'd probably also need the normal sized pneumatics instead of the mini ones to turn the model.
  17. LOOK BUDDY, NO. Violence most definitely NOT a reasonable solution.
  18. About 12 years ago back in the Golden years of Lego Racers, sets 8371, 8355, 8354 and 8370 all used fat tyres to stay upright, so that might be how they'll do it. Honestly I'd love for some sets in the old Racers Technic style to make a comeback, they were awesome.
  19. I'd love a backhoe with a generous helping of the new pneumatics
  20. Granted, the pneumatic functions can be a bit of a hassle at times. I have this problem where the crane no longer rotates because of the dust build up in the gears and the friction of the pneumatic hoses.
  21. I just want a flagship backhoe. Doesn't even need to be licensed or full RC I really like trains, but I don't think they can offer much in the Technic department. They're essentially a long featureless block :(
  22. How's the Palfinger Epsilon coming along?
  23. I'd be interested in: 8288-style crawler crane backhoe construction excavator scheuerle/self-steering trailer + truck unlicensed supercar with advanced suspension & steering geometry (cheaper if unlicensed) mining excavator dragline excavator snowgroomer truck + palfinger Z (or M) crane
  24. Haha, that probably won't happen any time soon unless someone else does it for me, I've got hardly enough time to learn Blue Render :P
  25. Looking good so far, I like the doors :)
