Kana and Hera? I 'ship it. Ezra... just kill 'em! This was the first Rebels episode where I didn't enjoy the McQuarrie-ness. Stupid Dagobah tree-spider-things

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
He is the First Order General, like Tariq said. He would have been a 200% better May 4th minifigure than what we have, IMO . We first heard of him through a Singapore (?) Toys R Us ad- so the assumption is he will be distributed everywhere else through TrU as well, much like the TFA C-3PO minifigure. -
Awesome! The building is top-notch, obviously. I love the last shot of the building with the moon in the background.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow. Incredible. It is a great looking figure, but it is definitely not May 4th-worthy. More than anything, I'm confused at Lego's apparent lack of common sense with this figure. Why would people want to shell out big bucks for this figure when they can get it (more or less) for $12? There is almost no incentive for AFOLs to get this, and astute parents buying for children will notice the fig's lack of exclusivity as well. I bet they'll pull a Clone Lieutenant on us and release it in a later set. Like Gadzooks said, a Special Forces TIE pilot with the red striping would have been 200% better than this vested loser. [Cue Seinfeld Denim Vest jokes] Why the 1x2 tile for the backpack? In the film, the backpack is a Snowtrooper backpack, which is represented in Lego form by a 1x1 tile. And the Sandtrooper-style shoulder ammo pouch? In this picture (http://vignette2.wik...=20150811001647) the officers have it, and in this picture (https://fsmedia.imgi...uto=format&q=75) the Heavy Gunners have it. I guess I need to stock up on this fig so I can perfectly recreate the TFA rally scene [/sarcasm] Edit: Actually, no, the Heavy Gunners don't have 'em in that second pic. I thought the black undersuit was the ammo pouches -
I like how well the simple texturing/greebling conveys the Imperial aesthetic.

If only Assault on Hoth was just like this MOC! Great job!

It would have been better with the helmet, but I guess technically Finn didn't have his helmet on Jakku. Also, blood stains are pretty much a no-no for Lego. But they did do bloody bandages for Starkiller: http://brickset.com/...er-s-Apprentice And yes, this minifigure is 300% better than the May 4th fig.
