Force Friday (30th September) promotions
Darkdragon replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Many errors, none of the orders seemed to go through without an error but I do see authorization on the card. I suppose I'll find out if the confirmation arrives to my email in a couple hours. -
That's great! I love the wood look and the sails. Such a random unique take on a SHIP.

The best of the worst Lego Ideas
Darkdragon replied to anothergol's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That is definitely a Tyco plate, at least I think they are the only ones who made plates in half-brick thickness. Based on the apparent age of the bricks, that olive green brick is probably also Tyco. -

Welcome to the Sea Rats! As soon as you post your sigfig in this thread, I'll get you added to the membership roster. -
I'm exactly the opposite, I have some non-production plants and love to use them in MOCs wherever possible. Though, I would leave it on the sprue as well I'd just use it carefully in a build, on the sprue.

Cool, thanks @CMP I'm suppose to remember where all these stats came from?? I only had put permanent/equptment related stuff in there initially and not consumables stuff...but I can't recall where that +1 came from. Might be best to just remove it unless i get time to go check all my old quests.

Is Pharaoh's Quest worth picking up?
Darkdragon replied to RetroInferno's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I really liked the whole theme and I own all of them and multiples of many. I did and still will buy any sets/figures I find for low prices. I loved all the dark tans, creatures, etc. It was overall a really fun theme to me. I never built the pyramid set, but used it more as a parts pack. My favorite set was actually very small Scarab Attack If you do buy the pyramid set used online, be sure to ask if the baseplate is damaged. It is HUGE and hard to store because of the strange size. I could easily see it getting bent or somewhat damaged. -
I've been out of Heroica a while, I wonder if one of you really nice folks could take a look at my stats and make sure I updated the numbers correctly? Pretty please?

She looks over at the woman who has walked up and waves a hand at the empty chair nearby. "Hey, no problem. Plenty of room here." Looking up toward the voice, she pulls back her hood. Cinna sees a somewhat familiar face and smiles wryly. "New, no. I was around back when the Hall first became active. I seem to remember you were around back then as well, but we never quested together did we? It's been so long. I left for a while, but wanted to come back and get to work again. Though, it seems like all the work has ended around here."

Finding common colours for a list of parts
Darkdragon replied to Legotom's topic in General LEGO Discussion
You can use the Bricklink API to write your own scripts to do what you are wanting. http://apidev.bricklink.com/redmine/projects/bricklink-api/wiki/CatalogMethod#Get-Known-Colors http://apidev.bricklink.com/redmine/projects/bricklink-api/wiki -
Have you tried scrolling the right or left? The menu comes up on the far right, you might need to just swipe-scroll for it.

Why would TLG securing a new license for a Dimensions set seem at all unlikely at this point? Recent history has proved the exact opposite.

1. Click the Code button ( < > ) 2. Select "No Syntax Highlighting" from the dropdown in the popup window 3. Paste your text That is how it's always worked, the link has to have some sort of code to tell the server where to start (like the last unread post or whatever).

I've embedded this one for you. Next time, you just need to copy the URL for the movie when you are on YouTube and past it directly into your post. If you wait a moment, you'll see the link change to an embedded video.
-
Hi Chewybricks We actually post animations in the Brick Flicks & Comics forum here. You'll also get more views by embedding the video instead of causing the user to click off of Eurobricks to watch it.

It's actually not too bad: 1. Click the menu button on the page (the three bars icon on the top right). 2. You'll probably need to scroll wayyyyy over to the right to see the actual menu. 3. Click "Browse >" 4 Click "Forums" That will take you to the main forums listing.

Oh yeah, that stuff. I thought you meant the post content. I don't think that would/has ever been done on a default theme (which is what we are using now), so even though I can't say it won't be, I wouldn't bet on it happening. I'm not sure when/if Mister Phes will be able to re-implement the fancy Pirates theme, but I hope so.

Are you on mobile or desktop? I'm not seeing this issue on desktop, the text is black on white from my viewpoint.

An additional word of warning: Doing this might break any and all links in the post you edit (only on old posts from before the upgrade). Always use preview before saving and be ready to fix the links. They will still look like links, but they will point to the thread you are in and not to the original destination. It's not completely dead yet. You can still use the basic BBCode most users already had access to, and most old threads should eventually be looking mostly ok again when the scripts are complete. You can still manually type out BBCode as well, but it's really unnecessary and more work than needed if you have any sort of rich text editor you can copy/paste from. Of course, if you want to keep your code clean you can do it manually and it will render correctly.

Yeah, Flickr made it a bit unintuitive to find. Glad you found it, I'm so use to using it that I never thought others might not know how to get to it since they moved it.
-
Yes it does, I refuse to build a Flickr tutorial in this thread. It is very simple though, you go to the RIGHT SIZE image and copy the URL. I guess you'll just have to wait for a step-by-step tutorial if you can't figure out what I've said the past few posts. Additionally, it sounds like your netbook is running the mobile version of the site.

A woman covered in a dark green cloak and hood walks into the hall quietly. She looks at the empty quest board and sighs, mumbling under her breath. "Looks like I came back at a bad time." After stopping by the bar to order a dark brew, she relaxes in her favorite chair by the fire and sips the stout drink.
-
It does, actually. You just go to the image and click "copy image url" and paste it in. It's not just Flickr, it's any image with a proper URL.
-
It has been mentioned before, but to reiterate: tutorials will be updated for this new software in the near future. As for Flickr, it is much easier now as you don't need any share code. Just copy the URL for the image and past it into the post.
