  1. Big balls of snow~
  2. You can download the manuals in PDF form directly from Lego if you just want building instructions.
  3. I don't think it's going to be possible to get exact matches without your own factory One thing you can do is set up a watchlist on bricklink with what you want, even if something doesn't officially exist in sets in a color it will sometimes appear there for sale. Money might be a problem for those though.
  4. Pretty neat. I was thinking about a similar project myself at one point. It's a fun take on the monochrome figure craze.
  5. Beneath the Treehouse
  6. I can help out with the edits side until a new leader is chosen/announced.
  7. I really like the goofiness of those two figures, like the mighty micros line. They make me laugh.
  8. Well he did say he purchased from a charity shop an the parts were donated to them by an individual, not TLG themselves. The shop would have no reason or liability to not sell, there would be no point in them having the parts if not to sell for their cause.
  9. Thus build is very frightening. Great photography!
  10. Halo 5 and Uncharted 4. I need to get one of those finished so I can get going on Gears of War 4. So much games, so little time.
  11. Please keep this discussion on the topic at hand and and not about Lepin sets.
  12. Lego has repeated said that they will never create a modern army set or theme. There are plenty of parts available to create your own though, and many people have done so at varying degrees of success. If Lego doesn't provide the printing on figures or the guns you need, as you said, there are third party companies such as Brickmania, Brickarms, and Brickforge who all fill the niche pretty well. You can also design your own minifigures and have them printed or use stickers or decals. The best part of the Lego system is that we are not locked into only building prefab sets, we can and are encouraged to come up with our own visions and build them. You have many resources besides official sets to get parts you need: Lego Pick A Brick, Lego Bricks & Pieces, Bricklink, Brickowl, and even eBay.
  13. He is shipping it with the letter price instead of package price. Doing it that way is extremely risky. The figures can become damaged or lost if they get stuck in a sorting machine.
  14. This is getting off-topic, but yes I have had this happen in the past. The initial $400 was simply a temporary hold which usually falls off and then they send the real charge through, normally it is transparent but very rarely I will even get the package before the real charge appears to hit. It doesn't have anything to do with the website as it would be a totally different computer system.
  15. They are all interchangeable, they all fit.
  16. There's a pinned topic in this exact forum that answered all your questions. Why don't you look before you make posts about something that's already posted? I know this isn't the first time you've posted a redundant topic.
  17. You really don't want lego packages to go through the automatic equipment. I shipped a minifig that fit through some slot (even though I had paid for the package rate in a bubble mailer) and parts of it were destroyed by the sorting machine, it was a Roman Soldier in the package, so you know the buyer wasn't too thrilled. Someone once sent me some minifig hands in a standard letter envelope, they were mostly ripped through the paper when it arrived - I was very lucky that the hands were not damaged or lost, one of them was hanging out except for the stem. Just last weekend I found out the hard way that they've raised rates again, I can't ship lego domestically for under $2.63 now. That doesn't bode well for international. The best thing to do with Bricklink and international shipments is to max out the parts you can fit into the minimum shipping weight, I've found most sellers will help me with letting me know if there are any grams left after packaging to throw in a few more parts. There's really nothing a seller can do with shipping costs, except the ones that overcharge and they should be given negative feedback and all that.
  18. I would have been very disappointed with a Spiderman polybag, but Spiderman is a dime a dozen. Though even Spidey is better than nothing I suppose. I did receive my order order yesterday and it had everything I ordered, including the Revan figure.
  19. There's already a topic for music discussion, I'm merging yours with it.
  20. You can always call the store before you head over there. In my past experience, they would tell me if they had any promo items left but not how many.
  21. Cinna sips her ale, no need to rush. "Probably not, I kept around only a few folks back then. I don't know if they are even still around.Namyrra and Tesni most often." she looks around the Hall, but doesn't see anyone she knows. "Well, hopefully they are still alive in any case. My name is Cinna, by the way, it's nice to meet you."
  22. I did suggest the initial thread, but you could be right. That was many moons ago.
  23. That happened to me! I only ever got one confirmation, but after a few tries i finally was able to check the order status page and they changed from In Process to In Warehouse.
  24. It's just going to give the same error. Heck, I was getting errors just navigating around the site! This is pretty typical for an event there though, not that it's acceptable just not surprising at all.
  25. Even on a normal shopping day those can take hours to arrive. If your order status is Processing, you are probably OK. If the order status changes to Customer Service, then you can panic
