  1. Won't your phone have internet access while you travel?
  2. I find most animals and any molded minifigure parts (special headgear like chima, dualmolded arms/legs, minidoll parts, etc) to be cost prohibitive on B&P. It's usually quite a bit cheaper on BL unless for some reason you need them before are readily available there.
  3. Why post such a pointless question? Every post previous to your is discussing the series and guesses and/or hints as to what it is. To just come in and say this points out that you didn't bother to read anything at all and simply want everything handed to you on a silver platter. That would possibly be the first CMF series I would skip since the beginning.
  4. I don't recall ever seeing something like that. It's not something that could be built, it would have to be a molded non-existant accessory to be in scale with a figure.
  5. Great work, part 2 was very enjoyable and full of action. I'm not sure if the sound was over compressed or an issue with where I was watching, but it did seem slightly muddy in a couple places. Keep up the good work!
  6. I'd go with the Saturn V if it's still available for order in your country and you have a place to display it.
  7. Well, your project got me to dive into the series and now I'm through book 1 and book 2. I have to say that your figures are almost exactly what I imagined while reading! Amazing job on the figures and the scenes, really. With the movie coming out, it's getting hard to track down the books at reasonable prices - I have 1, 2, 3, 5 and I think my mom is sending me number 4. Reading them goes really quick, but the other night my husband says "How engrossed are you in that book, I've been saying we are ready for a while" when I told him to let me know when he and the kid are ready to do something or other. OOps It must be a sign of AFOLness when imagining how to build a moc for a scene while reading it. I hope you continue this series of builds, I'm really looking forward to it - even more now!

  9. I feel like i've missed out on a few of these when you name them all off. I better get going on purchasing to catch up.
  10. It's sad but not super sad with sparkles in the eyes. I happen to have that figure sitting on my desk at work and was looking at it a bit ago. It is close though, you're right.
  11. Finally got some Bat Pods ($5.99 -20%), returned my TLBM to Amazon and got the one from Target too. I noticed TRU has a special edition as well, comes with a 68 piece model, some sort of Bat plane - I didn't bother looking all that closely. Now that I've seen the movie though, I really wonder about some of the figures they included in the CMF line and some that were left out of CMF and set. I also wish we would have been provided with the super sad Joker face somewhere, it's adorable. Maybe we were and I've missed it?
  12. I heard from a LEGO employee that cutting hoses isn't considered wrong as even in the model shop they do it all the time.
  13. I definitely agree, they will appear soon. However, I also think they will be getting less expensive on BL since there are a few new sets coming out with multiples. At least, that's what I'm dreaming of! On another note, someone posted a list of figures he was able to complete using B&P recently, but unfortunately in the USA not all the parts were available. Of particular note for what I was hoping to grab, the silver toxic waste suit helmet is not available (as of yesterday). It would be nice if all parts were available in all countries, but at least we have Bricklink to fill in the gaps.
  14. Oh darn. I ordered from Amazon like I always do. Hmm...what to do now. Went by my local TRU and they didn't have bat pods in yet. Not my day for TLBM purchases.
  15. I just got the movie in the mail today and it did not include a figure. :/
  16. I wouldn't call it cheap myself, $15-20 for some books and a cobbled figure. The umbrella is only 15 cents on B&P, so that's not a big deal. Legs are averaging around 50 cents on Bricklink right now. I have not checked B&P for the other parts though. For someone who does like the books, pretty decent to get all those pieces though.
  17. Aren't those all recycled parts? I have a CMF Joker inmate sitting right here and the torso appears to be the same on in the photo.
  18. I really love the design of these dragons, the stands and the posing is great. Scale to the minifigures is really nice. Awesome job!
  19. If you feel that you meet the criteria WhiteFang has written, then it's best to revive. If you are considering reviving an old thread vs. creating a new one to say something like "I agree, monorail should come back.", do neither
  20. No problem, I've cleaned up this thread a bit for you as well. Anytime you run into an issue like this, feel free to PM me and I'll see what I can do to fix it. I hope to get a few minutes to watch part 2 soon, I'm looking forward to it
  21. Well, that does seem to be quite a few stickers. There are a lot of printed tiles though! Now I'm a bit depressed, might only have to buy 4 of these.
  22. That does look like a sticker. Though, why the attitude? I don't think one would account for "plenty". However, if there is one sticker for that panel then I would probably guess the window in question is not printed as those small windows are typically stickers anyway.
  23. This round is currently impossible for me to choose favorites. I want to vote for all 4.
  24. Well, it's only a $150 set. I can definitely see this as the big birthday/christmas gift for a teen/pre-teen that is into Lego. I'm not seeing evidence of stickers in any of the photos so far.
