Need help removing sharpie/marker from minifigs
Darkdragon replied to Toa Chronix's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I use a pink (not the smooth white) pencil eraser for this task all the time. You don't have to rub very hard and the sharpie will come off before damaging any of the natural print. I don't use any type of liquid or solvent on it as that can damage the plastic and print. -
I really love the scene, I feel like I could stare at it all day and imagine what's going on around the corners. Great work!

LEGO Ideas: 21310 Old Fishing Store (Fall 2017)
Darkdragon replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Town
I'm definitely going to need two of these, one to build and one for parts. Better add it to my birthday list asap. I'm really digging all the animals, new figure prints, and various accessories. Instantly the top set for the year in this price range for me. -
I'm interested in running something low-level.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation
Darkdragon replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd take a Mighty Micros version of all villains. I love those designs! One of the few lines of licenses sets that I don't wait to go on sale. -
I think the reason might simply be placement of the thread. Since many folks never leave their normal forum, they might not see/vote. Additionally, many sci-fi figures are not reusable often in Town, even as parts - but historical figures are. So, I don't think it's a hatred of the sci-fi figures but more a fact that more sci-fi builders haven't been voting.

Predictions for LEGO BrickHeadz Series 2
Darkdragon replied to kungfulegolover's topic in LEGO Licensed
Unless you have a solid reason why TLG would be doing any new Doctor Who stuff, this is purely a wishlist and nothing more. Even the Ninjago stuff seems highly unlikely as it's all been licensed themes so far. -
Great ship. I love the color combo. A few people using Brickshelf seem to be having embedding issues off and on. At this point I'm still blaming Brickshelf, but looking into it.

Is it possible to combine two posts?
Darkdragon replied to dignow's topic in Forum Information and Help
That's really not the best way to go, a little patience would have been better. -
Yesterday your link did the same thing. Now I can see yours embedded in the post and @LegoMonorailFan link now works but isn't showing up as embedded.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 18 Rumors and Discussion
Darkdragon replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Why not? We got two male surfers. I'd love both of those gamers! -
You click the face icon, then in the popup click "Categories" then select Emoticons from the dropdown. That will show everything that's currently available except pirates.

Don't like Alice as a complete figure, but it has some nice parts. Donald is great! I can't get enough of those tails. Stitch, meh, for collectors only I guess.

There appears to be no image, i only get an error message. Might be a brickshelf problem.

If you link to all of the posts, a moderator can merge them into one for you. -
Great work. I really like the offset of the brick behind the plaster/paint.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
Darkdragon replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Is that a picture of a drawing? Anyway, based on the 1/2 brick high section with the studs and the rounded edges of the studs, it appears to be Tyco brand. -
This thread works, sometimes a member will report their own post with the comment asking to merge with the other.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to get going on some of the builds. I'm nothing if not eclectic in my Lego buying - I like everything, which makes for a very expensive hobby. I wanted the Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator as well, but it was sold out the day I was there.

Hazmat and Pizza are both great figures that I've used parts from in multiple MOCs. I'd say it's probably Pizza as the most-useful figure, but Hazmat as the most-unique/cool to me.

@Dragonator is always ready for pitches! I might be interested in a cohost - depending on what the plan is -
Picked up a few things with a 20% off coupon I had.

I'd say all series have some great parts and figures. I don't have a least favorite, but I can say that DFB is the only series I have that I have not opened yet. I just haven't had the need for any of the parts so far. This could be a failing of the series or a sign that I already have too many figure parts to choose from. I hate that the Simpsons didn't have headgear but all fully molded heads, but at least there are some great torsos and legs in there.
