    Wow I remember this set when i was a kid I got this for Christmas one year. I think I still have all the pieces but might be missing some stickers. I should try rebuilding it. Great review by the way.

    Hey I bought a box and was very happy that it had six cops in it. It was perfect to fill out my police force with. These cop figs are better than any other Lego cops they have made yet. The only ones that come close are the state troopers but they don't fit in with trying to build a Lego city. I do agree this time around the distribution is bad. Why do we need six mechanics or skydivers?

    Great modular police station and I would love to see this done in bricks. It has the same classic look as the fire brigade.

    Thanks for the comments. I was trying to get a sporty convertible type look with it. The black part is supposed to mimic a soft top. I couldn't find a good way to get a nice slope on the back so I just used a bunch of cheese slopes to get the right angle.

    Once again TLG has outdone themselves! Some great additions in this series. Lots of great new figs for all of us town builders. Also love the Roman commander and revolutionary war soldier. Their appears to be 9 figs that I can use in my town. Nice to see a new dog mold and the seagull is perfect. Only downside is the new gold fig. I'm not a fan of super rare figs and if I some how get the golden fig I really have no use for it so I will probably just sell it.

    This is a very good build for having limited pieces to work with. I like the use of the horns for germinating plants.

    I'll be making a copy of this car and then make an SUV version for the k-9 unit. The SUV will probably be based on the black horse trailer vehicle. I love the new police minifigs. I hate the swat ones but the S9 CMF is perfect. Next step I need to make a modular police station.

    Okay here is my take on the new city sets. The vehicles are great but once again they failed to expand into newer subthemes. Yes,they did give us more unique versions of fire and police(swat and forest) but still no Zoo theme or different civilian buildings. Now fortunately the CMFs have provided us with a lot of the unique city figs that the city line has failed to give us. But I still think they should produce some more exotic buildings and vehicles for the main city line. Well enough of my ranting maybe some day we will see a Zoo theme.

    I have to say when I started following this quite a long time ago I thought it was too ambitous and would never be completed but you did an amazing job!!1 Best castle diorama on this site.

    I'm not interested at all and won't go out of my way to get one . But if one were to fall into my hands I would probably wait a few years and then sell it when the value rises. Honestly I have most of the CMFs from series 1-9 but there are some that i have no interest in getting. I don't get them as collectibles I get them for use in mocs. The most useful for me being the unique town figs. You can't get a plumber,basebll player,artist, or butcher anywhere else.

    I love this bridge. It has a very realistic feel to it. I also like how you got the curve on the arch.

    I found a way to attach the stop sign to the bus and still have a working hinge device. I also added larger mirrors. I think I have found a solution for the side door to open but I don't have the right colors for this moc. Please let me know if you can think of a better way to attach the stop sign and still have a hinge.From the front when it is extended you can't see the clip piece. Thanks for all the advice.

    That is next on my list but I'm not sure if I will be able to without major design changes.

    The police minfig is one of my favorite CMFs. I was happy when I saw how many I got. My next car model will probably be a way to use my plumber fig which I also think is a great CMF.

    Okay so let me start by giving credit for the inspiration and the backstory on this model. Original design credit goes to bricklink user Ruben Ras http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=RubenRas&itemID=21538689 Here is his original model. Here is my first version of his model. The base still kept the same design and their was just a lot of different cosmetic differences. Now on version 2 I changed out the whole base and got rid of all the jumper plates used on the original model because it made it very unstable plus it didn't allow for my use of the wheel guards.I also added a new rear windshield on this model that allowed for a smoother look on the back of the car.It can also hold the new series 9 police minifig sitting up straight with his hat on. I would like to thank RubenRas for the inspiration but as you can see it developed into a very different model. Here is the new police force checking out their new squad car. I hope you liked the model and I will try to do an LDD version sometime in the future and post the file up here.

    Okay so I updated it and I believe I solved all the major flaws. It now has a removable roof as well and as you can see the school baseball team is headed to their game. I lowered the door and raised the suspension.
