  7. Back to the battle pack discussion, I think they could do it with blister packs the way they did with Castle 2013. And the new Ninjago Army Builder makes me think it will be more likely than the Chima Tribes.
  8. I'd love to see a member of the Wolfpack faction. More classic Castle figures in general would be nice, but the Wolfpack is something I'd like to see come back. Gender: Male Occupation / Print on Torso: Dark Brown torso with light armor / leather armor with straps print on both sides / sleeves. Type of Headgear: Either a Dark Brown or Black hood, or a helmet in Pearl Dark Grey. Type of Facial Expression: Rugged, bearded, ready for a battle. Color on Torso / Legs: Dark Brown torso with Dark Brown or Black arms. Dark Brown or Black legs with printed detail. Accessory: Sword and Shield (preferably the Egyptian Shield) with a Wolfpack print. Wolf companion. A surefire army builder here.
  9. I wouldn't mind if they came in every set. They are handy, and the thin edge can wear down, so it's good to have replacements. Some of the Brick Separator MOCs in here are really clever!
  10. Good points. Nobody really made any sort of commitment. I also only vote on sets I would buy. I think that the piece count on that set was a bit high to begin with, but I expected the project to change once LEGO got their hands on it. $1000 is a bit pricey. I was hoping for a similar set in the $200 range, comparable to Creator Expert Modulars. I can see why medium sets have more a chance of being successful, but I still think a large set in that $200 range could do very well. Hopefully people will start submitting more of those rather than the 10,000 piece monsters.

  13. Well if 10,000 people are willing to buy a 10,000 piece set, I don't see how the size is an issue. And my vote was for the set as it was. But LEGO routinely changes the sets when they put them into production, so I don't really see why they couldn't have done that in this instance to make it work. I would still love to buy it.
  14. This is a gorgeous build. The trees are a little off, but that's forgiven. The color selection is top notch, and the techniques on the rocks and house are simple but wonderful. The characters populating it are also assembled well. It shows that you took care to use minifigure parts that would work in the setting without being the same tired Pirates themed bodies. I only wish it had an interior. Great job!
  15. I would certainly make my own factions, and mix and match minifigures. But I always tended to use the Dragon shields for one faction, the Lion shields for another, etc. Funny, my brothers and I always called the Black Falcons the hawk knights. I also have only one of the Bull knights. Of the faction minifigures I had, I disliked the Dragon Masters the most because of the garish colors, mismatched legs, fabric capes and flags, and their helmets. I did like their sets a lot, though. I preferred the Black Knights for their generic prints, simple colors, and use of black. But most of all, I liked the Forestmen and Wolfpack because they were different from the knights and were more interesting.
  16. This is a really cool display piece for some great medieval themed minifigures. Nice job!

  18. These are the 3 I was hoping to buy when made available. Medieval Market - I'd like to think that the reason was that they have something similar in the pipeline, but my understanding is that Nexo Knights will be replacing the Castle theme for a few years, so that can't be true. It may have been a bit large in scope, but projects are always ultimately changed by LEGO, so I don't see that as an issue. It could have been edited a bit to be more reasonable in piece count. Zelda - Not my favorite Zelda game, by far, but I would imagine a Zelda theme would need some new parts and LEGO Ideas does not accept such projects. But it could be done in the way that they did Doctor Who, by obtaining the license and releasing some new molds in other sets (Dimensions) earlier. I'm guessing they couldn't get the license, which is unfortunate. Maybe Nintendo doesn't want their game characters to appear on other consoles (if used in Dimensions). Daft Punk - Basically a minifigure set, but it was supported by Daft Punk themselves. It's a shame another Daft Punk set with an actual build didn't reach the vote limit. I would suggest another attempt at this one. Then again, it may have been licensing, as Daft Punk typically commands a large sum. Either way, I'm very disappointed not to see these getting made.
  19. It isn't based on an existing theme, but it is based on the Classic Space theme, which is a draw for me. More of these Classic themed sets would be most welcome. And the use of green for the minifigures is a great selling point as well. A classic minifigure redone in a cool, new, original way is always a great thing. I voted for the Exo-Suit for these reasons. While I like a lot of the other sets, I have only purchased 2 Exo-Suits and 1 Ecto-1. Most don't appeal to me. If it's not in minifigure scale, I'm probably not going to buy it (unless it's just a good way to get certain parts).
