  1. This is a nice design! I love that the Egyptians now have a place to call home. Good job!
  2. I'd love that. Hopefully the sets they come in would also lack tech influences. Although, while the villagers don't have tech influences, some of them don't look all that medieval. This guy would be perfect for medieval: This guys colors might not fit in quite as well: Still, I'd prefer him to any of the Knights.
  3. I think the Simpsons would have looked fine with normal heads, but they're regular people. As for Squidward, I think any character that has a weird non-human head would probably look better with a molded head.
  4. Gatos
  5. English
  6. It's cyber-castle, as called by an actual LEGO employee who worked on the sets.
  7. There are Ninjago Juniors sets, and Nexo Knights is basically another Ninjago. The LEGO employee said Nexo Knights is the Castle theme for the time being, and there were Castle themed Juniors sets. All of this points to Nexo Knights Juniors or no Castle themed Juniors, in my opinion.
  8. Juniors sets are likely to feature Nexo Knights more than a Castle theme. CMFs are wonderful for this, but they tend to focus on historic characters like the Egyptian more than on medieval fantasy characters like the Heroic Knight or Goblin. I'm hoping to see more such characters, myself.

  10. I don't think it would be weird to have taller characters using the long legs / arms. It might be weird with Hook, considering the printing aspect, but in general I'd love to see more of it.
  11. teens
  12. I know I would, and I think there would be a substantial audience for it even beyond the AFOL and Castle markets.
  13. Well there was some sharing going on, so I was hoping for more.
  14. I'm surprised there haven't been leaks yet, but then again, these aren't due until the summer. Hook could be taller just using long legs...

  17. Doubtful, but it'd be vastly preferred over minidoll elves and techno knights. Here's an example of what I'd love to see, which is what you were talking about earlier: The original planned elf from Fantasy Era, from official LEGO documentation. Although, to be honest, I'd prefer human Forestmen. Definitely. Also, your ideas about AFOL targeted sets is a good one. I'd hope them to be Expert level. And new parts from time to time when necessary would be nice. I don't think they'd need to be more expensive just for the sake of it. Their pricing should be the same as any other set.
  18. The Pirates were the good guys, it was the Imperials who were the bad guys! At least, that's how I always felt.

  20. I completely agree, and would also like Tan. The part about the Pick-A-Brick Walls especially.
  21. So no more information from our friendly insiders?

  23. That will be a shame. At least the rest of him should be useful. But that means no fancy hat mold. Agreed. Yes, actually. A really cool pirate captain minifigure would be better than a ridiculous Hook head mold. Still, happy to know that he is coming.
  24. I hope they are stickers, actually. I never apply stickers, and I don't like the decorations for the shields, so to me they would be much more useful if they were stickered rather than printed. I also think that the squire bots are a poor design. And Lance is my favorite knight because he looks to be the easiest to integrate into a medieval setting with his nice visor and lack of flashy bright colors.
  25. First, I'm not against there being such a thing as Elves for girls. What frustrates me is that there is none for boys. Or better, when they do the same for boys we get Nexo Knights, so I'd rather something more gender neutral (in this instance meaning not pushed towards girls like Elves or towards boys like Nexo Knights, but rather in the middle like Lord of the Rings). Also, I think that those tendencies towards dolls in girls are in fact nurtured elements, not nature. But that's a completely different discussion. As for the discussion on Classical historic themes, I'm not against them, but they're not medieval fantasy so I'm not really as big a supporter of them as others. As much as I may really like Greeks, Egyptians, and other historical settings, I'm most fond of medieval fantasy and would like to see a return to that in a less gendered theme.
