  1. I hope it doesn't affect distribution. It probably means more rarity, since Its likely they'll stick to the same number of packages in each box.
  2. Yeah, Nexo Knights is tainting Castle. If it had come alongside another Castle or licensed medieval theme, things definitely wouldn't be as bad. In fact, they wouldn't be bad at all, and I'm sure there would be a lot of people who saw it as 2 Castle themes rather than all of those saying we currently have zero.
  3. Lance is the least Jellybean of all the knights, plus his visor will be the most useful in medieval settings. I just wish he was in a desirable set.
  4. Lance is the best knight, the Robo-Horse is the worst set!
  5. explode.
  6. I think they'll skip them. Its unfortunate, as Lance is the best knight, and a trans armor piece wouldn't be as obnoxious as the candy colored armor of the other knights.

  9. Remove the hinges and make each floor removable like a Modular, or make the side panel removable rather than hinged.
  10. LEGO has the license to Gauntlet (the game from 1985, and presumably all sequels and remakes) through Midway. Midway will be appearing in a Dimensions Level Pack, and part of the level is Gauntlet inspired. I'm hoping that the Gauntlet connection will inspire future sets, as there is a dearth of LEGO sets in a medieval fantasy theme that seems like it will last years. I'm grasping at straws.
  11. Fortrex is meager in comparison to the Temple of Airjitzu. I can't believe this many people like that absurd Robo-Horse / Bike.
  12. Fair enough. I know it's probably beyond wishful thinking to hope for them to turn Gauntlet into a Castle theme. I just want a Castle theme that badly.
  13. The jet looks great, if you're into jets. The only thing I'm interested in is Thanos. I was hoping I'd like the whole set. I'll probably buy him on BrickLink. Hope people aren't going to charge too much for him.
  14. I suppose it could. I didn't notice that thread was a catch-all. I knew that there was a Ghostbusters thread, and a Wizard of Oz thread, and thought this would be similar. If a Moderator sees fit, it could probably just be merged. Did you have an opinion about the actual topic of the thread?
  15. So LEGO Dimensions is out, and we're on our way. In Wave 4 of the Dimensions releases, we will be getting the Midway Arcade Level Pack: If you've been paying attention to the news, you'll know that this pack introduces areas based on many classic Midway video games. Among them is Gauntlet: Gauntlet was a great Fantasy Hack-n-Slash Dungeon Crawler video game originally released in 1985. It has been redone many times over the years. The original characters were a Warrior, an Elf Archer, a Valkyrie, and a Wizard: The reason that I bring this up is that LEGO currently does not have a medieval fantasy line. Lord of the Rings is all but gone (aside from what I can only assume are the final appearances of the theme in Dimensions), Castle 2013 has retired, and the new year will bring in a cyber-castle theme called Nexo Knights (which is expected to last a few years). In the meantime, there is no traditional Castle theme. What I am hoping is that LEGO will use their Midway license to produce sets and minifigures based on the Gauntlet setting. The characters are wonderful. The setting is wonderful. LEGO already has a relationship with Midway. It seems like a no-brainer, considering the lack of any other real Castle themes for the moment. It's not that I'm a huge fan of Gauntlet itself (I am a casual fan of the series, and have been for many years), but I am a huge fan of LEGO Castle sets in a medieval fantasy theme. I'm just reading into things in hopes that new Castle-like themes will emerge. What do you think? Is it possible? Likely?

  18. True, but if they are done with the major Lord of the Rings sets I would think that it would be a great time to get back to it. Maybe they have to wait for the license to expire. If they did Eowyn, I'd certainly buy one.
  19. Articulation, I don't mind, but I don't like the look of brick-built. And the heads are so cutesy, that's a no for me.
  20. Really? I guess if you like cartoonish dragons. I much prefer the Castle dragons, as they look a fair bit more mean and menacing. These dragons look, well, cutesy.
  21. Basically, yes, this. I don't expect a Star Wars minifigure series, but it would be fantastic if they could!
  22. The only thing I don't like about that picture is the bow and arrow on the shield. I also didn't like the dwarves helmet shields. The crown shields made sense, and if I had been around to get any of those sets I probably would have swapped them out. Other than that, its a solid concept. I wonder why they haven't gone back to it.

  24. Yeah, I'm really hopeful for the Satyr's new legs as well. And really surprised to not hear any more information on this series. Well maybe surprised isn't the word. More like really disappointed.
