LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
x105Black replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That looks better than the Gargoyle piece. That's a nice surprise. I'm even more excited about this minifigure now. I'm seriously doubting the new leg mold at this point, which is very unfortunate. -
Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion

I disagree. I think they are most likely to reuse the previous molds. It's more cost effective, and the molds they have would work just fine. Sure, it might not be what some of us would prefer, but it's still probably the most likely.- 4,155 replies

Well we were talking something comparable, not the exact mold.- 4,155 replies

Still, it would be interesting to actually know the numbers. With the ever-growing popularity of LEGO, even a small percentage can be a significantly high number of individual buyers.

The Amidala dress could fit in a blind bag. It is as tall as the Hot Dog Guy's suit from Series 13, and as wide as the Plant headgear from Series 14. It should fit, but it would be pretty obvious (which is fine by me).- 4,155 replies

Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes
x105Black replied to SirBlake's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Considering we aren't getting a Castle theme in 2016, it would be nice of them to supply us with at least some new Castle minifigures. -
Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes

That's my preference as well. And as SirBlake said, the CMF Elf had a great reinvention of the Stag. I'd love to see more of that. I feel the same way about the shields, and the armor, and the weapons... But I do hope the new CMF series will make use of that great Egyptian shield mold. And I really hope to see it in use in the next Castle theme. -
Why is the Series 1 Zombie so expensive?
x105Black replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Or better yet, they could do a few themed ones. For example, every series has had at least 1 minifigure that would work in a Castle setting, so they could do a Castle set.- 43 replies

I don't think it will need to be a new piece if it's a 2 x 4. They could surely use that same piece. But I'm sure most of us would prefer a new one, since it would solve the clutch issues.- 4,155 replies

Well, I'm more a fan of this color scheme anyways.

Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes

Well we have the same point. It was someone above us who thought the boar was excellent for an evil faction. In black and red, they've done the Boar, the 2013 Dragon, the Wolf, the Bat, the Scorpion, and the Skull (which isn't wuite the same, but I'm including it anyways). Of these, the Wolf is my favorite heraldry design, and the 2013 Dragon was good. I would have preferred the original Dragon Masters heraldry in that color scheme, as I don't think the last 2 iterations of dragon heraldry lived up to the design. The Boar, Scorpion, and Bat aren't anything I would particularly use, so I have no interest in those shields (though I do prefer the black and red, or even better dark red, color scheme). -
As a couple of people before me have said, this is just stunning. It's absolutely spectacular. I love it. Easily one of the best things I've seen built with LEGO. It's so wonderful, I just won't be able to praise it enough, so I'll stop now. It's so fantastic!

That's a nice portrait, with an intriguing story to match. I love the idea of the crowns on the helmet, really cool idea. Nice work!
