    The second part is ovethinking, the first part (it is a creation in the head of a kid) has been foreshadowed early on in the movie. I mean... Vetruvius his staff... the cat face when Emmet gets glued...a shadow coming down the stairs...the man from above...other real world items in Lord Business his lair, somethings like really early in the movie, so that twist was already announced.

    Aside of the snake temple the sets look quite bland to me. (Yes, yes, someone had to crush the hosanna party here. ;) ) The cultists are the worst of the bunch. Compared to that even the droids looked okay. And aye, 2016 is a ninjago movie, 2018 is expected to be a sequel to the Lego movie but nothing is certain on that.

    wtf did I just type there? Never meant to type the word people. What I meant was Ninjago lost mighty appeal. (Enter not working in this forum is kinda crappy as well). Sorry you had to reply to something I didn't meant. Of course also appeal to me (subjective). And yes, I am looking forward to the full movie and see what they cook up. Because what do they want to do: 1) have a story that follows the storyline from the cartoons with new outfits or 2) return to the basic ninjago outfit and try to get more audience. In case of 1 you limit the scope of audience.

    Ninja's with no printing? Will be added I reckon. The sets look pretty crappy. Maybe some better views of the dragon are needed. But Ninjago lost mighty people after the stone army. The whole nindroid concept had inferior sets* and these seem bland as well. * With inferior I mean that the skeleton, first snake & stone wave had much better sets.

    All will be revealed in the upcoming Lego Ninjago movie. :)

    Agreed. The sets don't have the sparkle they once had in my opinion. It is difficult though for Lego I imagine to keep coming up with new things. The X1 does something new instead of re-hashing an old concept though, but it is a pity the car as a model isn't that awesome. Son wants the dragon though. It is a big and has blades. lol.

    Many kids will drive their parents deeper into the financila crisis with this set. The euro price is ridiculous. Setting up a transfer with someone in the US might be profitable (as the dollar prize is 182 euro's when converted directly). Set looks great, pretty movie accurate. At jodawill: it is how Benny looks in the movie, so the fig is movie accurate.

    Saw the movie today. And well... Everything was awesome.

    The tree is cool, The overlord thing weird-ish The Zane flyer, as all small flyhers will end up in a box... The Temple has some merits, interior shots would be appreciated. The stairs are pretty non-cool.

    That Overlord head is the head, nothing of a placeholder there. The temple doesn't look that awesome to me. Weird colour choices and design build.

    Daughter got this today. This is indeed a very nice set. The colour + minifig selection is very well done. And about Mr.Smith from the Matrix: exactly my idea. And to add: the movie, from what the trailers give away, remind me of the Matrix as well.
