  1. Very nice, I think the linear clutch idea is great, I think I might have to borrow it for a future project.
  2. Wait? I made a Lotus 7 Anyways this seems like an interesting year, I think the RC Tracked Race is going to be awesome.
  3. looks great but I dont like the 3L beams stacked holding the wheel arch axle, and would a 3x13 panel fit on the hood? other then that its awesome.
  4. Ok but the size of the mockup battery box looks like the old one sorry.
  5. If you use an old Lego battery box that was made before Power Functions the Infrared Receiver will not turn without bridging the tabs like this
  6. If you are using the 9V battery box the IR will not work.
  7. Awesome review Jim, looking forward to thew next one.
  8. The red one does not have any friction so the driving ring just slides on the axle without clicking.
  9. Yours seems to run a little faster then mine, I don't consider using tape as cheating, if you want to get my purest half to suggestion use a 5x11 panel sticker and that will seal it using Lego parts
  10. Get rid of the independent suspension and put in a live or floating axle setup much more suited for rugged terrain. also the SOG should really be in the center and I know you mounted the BB in the back to test but that would decrease the performance. No self promotion here but look at some of my crawlers to see what I'm taking about
  11. I'm a huge fan of this show and the only episode I miss is this one, typical...
  12. I think this is your best creation so far! good work I really like it.
  13. The clutch gears will wear down over time but with thorough use. I have a L-motor I used in high stress and it has dropped about 20 RPM since I bought it so the motors will wear down.
  14. I have a feeling these parentheses mean (something)
  15. I don't know if you had already had something planned but may I make a suggestion? A autonomous where your robot-creation does something using only one motor like a fractal drawing machine, auto delivery system, or a auto stair climber?
  16. I started to build this and was not planning to enter it but after reading the rules and seeing no rule about none lego parts I decided to go with it and it gave me a good accuse to work on supercar bodywork.
  17. Well for understandable reasons it was disqualified.
  18. I really like it and how you tried to capture all the details. I cant watch the video
  19. Ok thanks there will be no hard feelings about it being disqualified, I think it's a strang entry myself.
  20. I have not measured the speed because I want to measure it in a large area but I am guessing around 20mph or 32kph but it might be more.
  21. There is no rule saying no unofficial parts allowed I did not use a lego servo since it is not accurate and stalls easily compared to the RC servo.
  22. This was built for the ReBrick Porsche competition.
