  1. sorry for the third-in-a-row post, but the base now has a power source. I think that's all i can add right now, until this get's built in real life!
  2. The build is finally finished, with the rock-work completed and building firmly attached. first post updated as usual!
  3. I just added the home base of Analog, Squidman's Pit-stop. Please see the first post for more details.
  4. BUMP: LDD file and pictures updated, and parts ordered for the building, fence and platforms. Keep an eye on this thread for more info as the parts arrive!
  5. Thanks! Thank you! I really like those doors, but since I updated the model to it's newest version (see first post), it's doesn't work as well. The first post and LDD file have been updated to have the newer model, and here you can see the whole thing has been changed around: Here is the old version... ...and the new one! Any thoughts?
  6. The rear of the crane car features the NEW control booth, and the first post has been updated as such with new pictures and crane-only LDD file!
  7. Thank you very much! I was thinking about building this in black with a white stripe and trans-blue windows.... will have to see though if it gets built anytime soon. Maybe I'll call it the "Domino Express", due to it's black / white color scheme.
  8. This hotel was inspired partially by the B model in set 31069 and partially by a prototype 1920's theme LEGO tested sometime in the 1990's as seen below: (not my pic, seen here first.) My version of the building is modular with four levels, with four rooms, a lobby level, and the roof / tower that lift away. The neon sign out front is double-sided, and can be read from either left or right sides, while the awning above the door should say RITZ in printed 1 x 1 tiles. The rear and front of building features a ton of windows, while the left and right sides feature none, due to this model being placed in close proximity with other buildings. The "L" shape of this building gives it a unique feel, in my opinion. The lower floor currently features a check-in desk with cash register, piano, dining room table and several seats. The second floor features two separate rooms with a bed, desk with lamp, table, chairs, and a record player in each. Third floor also features the same stuff as the second floor. NOTE: Here's the LDD file of the whole model. As usual, comments, questions and complaints always welcome! EDIT 2/25/18: added two more rooms a better styled roof with revised color scheme and an updated LDD file. This model is now on the to-build list, to be built sometime later this year.
  9. Slight BUMP / update: I just added the auto racks and the loads on them to the first post along with it's accompanying LDD file. Here we can see both models thogether. (NOTE: The factory and auto rack cars models are in separate files, but can easily be combined together in LDD.)
  10. slight bump: The home port of skull island has just been posted in a seperate topic. Here we can see the ship arriving at the port which will be added to this model nearer to Christmas time this year.
  11. This modular model was inspired by sets 70409 (Shipwreck Defense) and 70411 (Treasure Island) for this small pirate port, with a raft that was mostly taken from set 6240. (Kraken Atttackin') The model also features a crane from a Pirates of the Caribbean combination model called Port Royal, and a dual cannon turret inside a giant swiveling stone skull. (That dual cannon part was inspired by WWII-inspired movie "the Guns of Navarone") The whole model comes apart into three sections: - loading crane - makeshift dock - defense turret The crane can spin around all 360 degrees. This part of the make-shift dock can take "battle damage": the curved section under the cannon falls back a bit, as shown here. The inside of the skull-shaped cannon turret features two guns and a telescope. This part forms most of the skull. This Ninjago part goes on top of the mast as the flag for my pirate's faction. The raft features a sail inspired by Spongebob set 3817, (Flying Dutchman) and a body inspired by set 6240. (Kraken Atttackin') The LDD file for the port ONLY is here. If you are curious what ship calls Skull Island home, please see here for the topic (and LDD file!) on the three-masted frigate "The Terror". The port should be purchased around Christmas of this year! Comments, Questions, and complaints are always welcome!
  12. This fast electric locomotive and it's train was inspired by sets 4511 (2003's "High Speed Train") and sets 4561 / 4560 (1999's Railway Express), and has been dubbed the "Sunset Streak". The orange stripe on the train can be replaced with green, blue, red, black or yellow, while the white can be replaced with black, if you so desired. This model features two locomotives, each with either red or clear lights for either rear or head end duties. This print here is for the two windscreens (they aren't printable in LDD), while the train's number tiles (12 on one cab car and 16 on the other, for example) printed 1 x 1 tiles are not there and are missing from the file. Four of this print go on each power car, (on the left and right sides) like this: <- -> This is supposed to make the classic Lego train logo in tiles, which sadly has never been available in printed form at all. Each locomotive has an abundance of control tiles and two pantographs per cab car for power pickup from imaginary wires. Also on the train is four passenger cars with no interior and four half-stud recessed doorways per car. However, as it is LEGO after all, you could easily modify the cars to have removable tops, inside seats, and even and opening doors (Emerald Night style). The LDD file is available for download here. Comments, questions, and complaints are always welcome!
  13. It is better now @LordFattee? I recolored the smokestack to dark bluish gray and extended it's height by about five bricks. I also took the liberty and enlarged the water tower and have a more realistic appearance. Any thoughts?
  14. Phase one (the temple proper) is completely built in real life, but phase two (the cliff-face under the temple) is about to begin ordering! The already built portion will fit nicely into the space above the black parts. The current cave at the rear of the built-portion will be moved to the a new spot just below it's current location. ..oh, and yes, that is a dump-over rope bridge, kinda like from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. The action feature operates via a pull-pin to dislodge would-be plunderers into the river below!
  15. Sorry for the almost five year bump, but this building is now been updated with new color scheme and updated LDD file. The original model's real life pictures have also been added as well... The building has been shortlisted to be built soon in real life as soon as funds allow. Any thoughts?
  16. sorry for the five year bump, but I thought i'd better update this one than make a new one... anyway: the LDD file and pictures have been updated!
  17. It's been a long time since I've seen that specific ghost train, a very long time indeed. Wellcome back!
  18. This Space Police IV station (numbered 1138 in-universe) building is mostly from set 7498 (Police Station), except for the two fold out sections... those were my idea. The three ships are set numbers 70802 (two of these serve as patrol cars number 24 and 28) and one 70815 (displayed as prisoner transporter number 31. The main photo of Space Police Precinct 1138 and it's compliment of ships. The officers of Space Police IV station 1138 gather at the entrance for a group photo alongside Commissioner X (with red eyes) and his bodyguards. The whole model as seen from above while completely opened up on it's hinges. This section features the front entryway and staircase to the helipad level. The junk in the alleyway is from police raids / seizures. The lowest level is the lobby with chairs and receptionist desk, while the second level is for booking criminals and cubicles for lower ranking officers. (After booking, the criminals are either transferred out of to an asteroid prison somewhere in between Jupiter and Mars to await possible trial.) The third level is for the Police Commissioner X and his immediate subordinates, the detectives, while the fourth level is helipad / roof assess. This stairway module leads from ground floor all the way to the third floor, and features the illuminated helipad on it's roof. One of two stock models of set 70802, (Bad Cop's Pursuit). The fold-out weapons are quite well hidden compared to the prisoner transporters... but they are there! The two engines are OCTAN-brand fusion reactors. The car can seat one figure in the pilot seat. The fold-out weapons are normally quite well hidden on the patrol cars, in contrast to the frighteningly heavily armed drop-ships. My singular set 70815 (Super Secret police Dropship)'s hover pods rotate backwards to give the illusion of flight. (although I forgot to turn them before taking this picture!) One of the prison cells goes in the belly of the ship behind the rear door... today's prisoner is Kranxx, the former Black Hole Gang second-in-command. He is serving his six consecutive life sentences, or, in his species terms: he will be spending the next half-million years behind bars, still very much alive. (If you could call it that!) Background for the Space police version 1 -4: In the original Space Police, they were just that, a police force in space. They would round up bad guys and put them in jail to await trial. After the prisons became full and the Blacktron Wars got really close to home, they turned into a SPII, an army of police men & women ready to fight any battle any way that it took to win. After the war was over they were scaled way back in terms of power and influence. By 2007, the Space Police had been put under the control of the Universal Space Congress and turned into their third incarnation, which was basically SPI but more refined. Instead of throwing them in jail, they put them in stack-able, easier-to-maintain cyro-pods to await trial. Then the Black Hole gang (secretly under the sway of the Blacktron) arrived. They destroyed several SPIII stations, and sent many convicts free. Meanwhile, Blacktron officials officially denounced the Black Hole Gang and spread rumors of police corruption and gang / police cooperation conspiracy throughout the Congress via their agents. The SPIII were able to stop those rumors and put the Blacktron's plans in the spotlight, but at great cost. With Congress' eyes opened to the Blacktron's plan of severing the ties between themselves and it's only protectors - the Space Police- the congress gave everything they had to the police who then stopped the war by vaporizing the Blacktron home-world . Unfortunately, the all-alien Black Hole Gang led to some anti-alien polices to be installed in the Space Police, now in their 4th Incarnation. This has led to clashes between the Police and Alien Rights groups. As of January 1st 2214, The Space Police have made the Universe more like a military state under their control. Even the space congress unofficially serves them as payback for the SP saving the known universe in the war. Everyone officially denies it, but at the same time they know who pulls the strings and what will happen to them if they talk. Some people try to stop them, but they almost always disappear - another loose end severed. It is almost as if the Space Police had turned into the very thing they sought to destroy. THE END? That's all I have right now, and if you have any comments, questions or complaints, please leave them below. Thanks again for stopping by!
  19. sorry for the late reply, but thank you! First post has been updated with model: replacing this earlier version: Any thoughts?
  20. Sorry for the slight BUMP: The LDD file, text and pictures were just updated with a new steam locomotive, revised train cars, and printed parts have also been added to the train in many spots. Enjoy!
  21. Thanks, I try to make my historical-based posts as realistic as possible! EDIT: I forgot to say, I also include Knight's Kingdom II (Vladek is the bad guy from that theme and is an Ogel's ancestor), Pharaoh's Quest and Monster Fighters (Jake Raines and Major Quentin Steele also are on the Adventurers team) into my LEGO-universe.... along with a bunch of other themes via peripheral links, such as Ogel Island is in LEGO Island trilogy - universe, and as such he is friends with the master criminal named "The Brickster".
  22. The Digital screenshots and LDD file in the first post updated to match the real model! (which still isn't finished yet, as I'm still waiting for one last package to ship!) Also, as per suggestion from @Lordofdragonss, I added brick-bricks to the model, and i have to say it look much better now!
  23. Just got done typing this backstory on the Adventurers / Alpha team crossover character, Lord Ogel, while I wait for the rest of my Jungle Temple parts to arrive. I'm just waiting on the last order to begin construction of the main temple structure.... this is about as far as it can go without the missing parts. ..anyway, here goes the "Saga of Ogel": Born in 1893 as the last heir of the nation that bears his name, (Ogel) William Joseph Ogel was determined at an early age to rule his country with a iron fist. He became Lord (emperor, in effect) of the country in 1910 and heir to his ancestor Vladek's mysterious powers. (today we would call this physic energy "mind control") However, his control oddly ended at the border of his country. Desperate for power, he devised a scheme to amplify his powers using a strange substance known then as Ogelium to be dispersed via an unknown method. (probably via the water supply) Thankfully, World War I intervened before he could enact his plan, and he scaled back his plans until 1918, when the war ended. He had stayed out of the conflict, and secretly built up his military in the process. In 1920 he lost his left eye in a accident with a small sample of Ogelium, after which William kept the glowing ruby-red socket behind an eye-patch from then on. Determined once more to take over the world on his own terms, in 1925 he contacted Lord Sam Sinister to get him objects of great supernatural power. This eventually led him to the un-named jungle island where he and Sinister actually beat Johnny Thunder and company to the treasure at the last minute. Determined not to share the treasure with anyone, Ogel greedily double-crossed Sinister and grabbed the "treasure" for himself and his army of mind-controlled soldiers. Sam then go into a sword fight with William, which William won, but at the price of his left hand. Afterwards, it was revealed the treasure William took was fake, and than Johnny and Sam had joined forces to blow up the temple after the fight. This was done to prevent William from returning and getting the real deal. Furious, Ogel replaced his hand with one of Ogelium and permanently removed his patch so that anyone could see his scarred eye. After having lost his country during a Great Depression-era revolution, Ogel retreated to his island fortress, whereupon he plotted and schemed for around 30 years to regain his evil standing with the world. By the 1960's, he had gained the notoriety of a urban legend, a myth mothers told their children to scare them to behave. But certain world leaders knew he was real, and still alive due to an mechanical encounter suit to keep him physically fit into his 70's. After firing a nuclear rocket at the moon in 1970 to announce to his demands for world conquest (or else!), he was the subject of the newly-formed Alpha Team mission, which sank him - and his entire base - to the deep ocean depths. In 1979, he reemerged from the depths using nuclear-mutated sea life to try to conquer the world once more, and was again stopped by Alpha Team. In 1988, he tried to freeze the world solid, in an "If I can't have it, neither can you" scenario, only to be stopped by Alpha team's leader, Agent Zed. In the process of fighting Zed, Ogel was finally defeated by destroying his encounter suit, revealing the frail, 95-year old man inside. Ogel's final act was to take a fatal does of Ogelium, killing him nearly instantly... but not before detonating a remote nuclear device, destroying Zed and much of Ogel Island. ....rumors persist, however, of a young clone of Ogel running amok in the world, trying to regain his evil place in the world as late as 2012....
  24. Slight BUMP: Sorry for the late reply, but the model was just updated with a staircase from top level to the ground, along with a second bay for fuel storage. Does this seem better to you guys? The first post has been updated with more pictures (and a new LDD file!) in case you want more angles.
