I've got 3 of these stormie sergeants (they were free with my local newspaper!) but I've never noticed these differences before! -

In the UK everything but the TFA sets has been available since yesterday. The TFA sets/micro fighters/constraction sets are out in the 1st Jan, although the TFA battle packs/ micro fighters/constraction sets are already in toy shops and supermarkets. -

I'm sure people have seen these but just in case... Hothbricks have posted about these custom display stands that look pretty sweet http://www.hothbricks.com/2015/12/voici-de-quoi-exposer-correctement-vos-vaisseaux-star-wars/ I'll be getting a couple and I'll let you know you they go! -
I've been working on one of these for a couple of weeks, but it's going straight back in the parts bin after seeing this! It's outstanding! How did you those walls angled so well?!?

I'd love to get any of these locations - I've become more drawn to location sets than ships recently. As far as Maz's Cantina goes, does the back of the doors in the Battle on Takodana set have anywhere obvious that this could attach to (technic pinholes etc)? I'm guessing that the lever for the exploding step feature precludes this a bit.

any idea where to get a suitable head from? This torso looks fantastic but it'd be pointless for me as I have no head! (Well, I have got a head... You know what I mean). -

Any one have any ideas when the 'buy individual bricks' option will be returning to S@H bricks and pieces? After seeing the film, I'm chomping at the bit to start on a few projects! -
I can't see any way that simply putting two of these back-to-back will complete the chamber - mainly as the lift section is a 6x6 stud square, not tapered like the other segments. That said, I think it'll be reasonable to buy 2 complete sets, sell the Boba Fett and Han/Carbonite figures for pretty much the price of the set on eBay, then use the 2 sets to build something more substantial. Plus, you'll have 2 ugnaughts and someone else will get themselves a cheap Boba and Han - everyone's a winner!

When it comes to a new Death Star set, it seems to me that the main reason for this is the release of Rogue One this time next year. Maybe it'll be released 'force friday' style in preparation for the new film. -

I loved the Planets - I still have the entire series hanging in my dining room. The Death Star also acted as a great starting point for a Hoth Ion Cannon MOC! -
Picked up the visual dictionary yesterday and it features a photo of snowtroopers searching the inside of the falcon. Maybe the snow speeder would have featured in this scene - could turn up on the blu Ray. The dictionary also have a photo of the resistance speeder from the battle pack. I presumed this was a TLG invention. If you remove the gun turret, it's actually spot on.

I've just been on S@H and seen the images of the images of the new sets still show the minifigs stood on the grey dishes as they were in the original leaked photos. That's a little bit sloppy and could also confuse some people into expecting them to be included with the sets. -
If you're in the Exeter area, both ToysRUs and Sainsburys Pinhoe have TFA microfighters and battlepacks. No additional sets at the moment though.

After seeing the film last night, I find the idea of a Snoke polybag really unlikely. I also think it would be strange to get such an important character in this way considering the last few polybag minifigs - Darth Revan, Yularen, Han in Hoth gear (I know he's a major character but you get the gist). -

Good grief - this was the one set I wasn't so excited by, but after seeing that my wallet will be taking another hit. The rear side, which I haven't seen any images of until now, looks really interesting. Also looking forward to seeing it on screen at 12.01 tonight!- 46 replies

I'm pretty pleased with these prices for the £19.99 sets - I also think this is the price point for the droid escape. Am I correct in think that the Takodana set is £49.99? I guess that'll be out on Boxing Day too. I looked at the TFA microfighters in ToysRUs last night and I think I'll wait for a supermarket deal to get them. -

On the shelves of Exeter ToysRUs - the first order and resistance battle packs and the X-wing and snowspeeder micro fighters. Glad I just popped in - totally getting me in the mood for my midnight screening tomorrow night! -

I recently got all the parts to make 2 clear-domed astromechs, Sabines helmet and a couple of Kallus torsos for a couple of pounds. Also a few of the new rebel endor helmets. I'm always amazed by what you can get for pennies from there! Edit: I've just been on the site, and the button to buy loose bricks is missing! -

The carbon freezing chamber is the set I was looking forward to the most, but after watching the video I feel a bit under whelmed, especially with the raising/lowering mechanism. It also looks like 2 sets might not quite complete the chamber. Also, what's the deal with the little folding plate under the control panel walkway - I wish I understood Russian! -

With the carbon freezing chamber set on the horizon, does anyone have any suggestions for a suitable torso for Leia in that scene - basically her both outfit without the body warmer/vest? -

The cannon/turret thing in the first order battlepack is just awful - I don't think I'll even bother putting it together, just sling it straight in the parts bin. Probably pick up a couple of the packs though, but probably more of the resistance packs. The rebels battlepack also beats the empire one in my eyes too. -

He had it in the most recent A-wing set too! He's an old lush!
