I'm in. I have a specific minifig head I want to use for some of my Black Spire figs. I might be able to do Lord Raavage if I get his crown and armor. But I think his crown actually breaks one of the contest rules.

I'm not going to bother commenting about anyone else's opinion, because it has become rote that CMF favorability runs the gamut. I can see uses in my various themes for every single one of these. Some are bigger wants than others, but I'll not decry the CMFs since I would likely part out the whole series.

Sultan's Gate works for me. As for Chima, I've some plans to use the Eagle tribe for my Nestlands Clans of the Armored Eagle Goddess to worship. I already have set aside some of the decals to adorn some horse barding for my Nestlands characters.

Nice, Kai. I came up with a huge tiered dome design for my LDD build yesterday. I still have to figure out how to implement it, but it will make a grand roof for the casino proper. Maybe a transparent observatory at the top. Lots of statuary on the outside on platforms. I plan to work on the high roller dining hall tomorrow, as well as the patio garden, and possibly the kitchen.

The biggest difference between this iteration of Castle and the first season of Kingdoms is playability. Also, of the last three King's Castles this one is the closest to realistic in structure that TLG has gotten. It also beats them in parts count. If you don't like the heraldry and coloring, change it. I'd have had all of these by now if a dead air conditioner in the middle of summer hadn't ate up my Lego budget.

I'm thinking the Nestlands Clans will be staying out of the Nocturnus fight. There's a plan for an embassy after the leadership is firmed up. Since the Minister of External Affairs is in Petraea at the moment (thanks to Gabe), I think I might build something for the University.

I'm a MOC builder, not a set collector, so I am quite happy with this version of Castle. I actually liked the Royal Knights heraldry, which this current lion is based off of. There are plenty of positives for me with this line, the first of which is the introduction of the 4x4 facet brick. Raised baseplates have their place, but it takes skill and planning to use one well. I have one from a police set that I used in a major MOC last year. The ones that look like mostly rock are pretty usable, but the ones that are mostly green are more difficult to utilize.

I'm planning on just doing the small battle category. I still have the Nestlands Book I recap to do. Anticlimax will be done as a series of chronicles after the fact. That will give me time to do other things. I also have a lot to work on for my Lost Vega Casino LDD build. I came up with some interesting details for the grand casino floor.

Even the Nestlands were represented. Thanks Gabe. As the guardsman to Aturl Prndrn, Sdair Zuuree was a little upset about the no weapons rule. But the Petraea University's selection of teas in the lounges is extensive.

I just figured out how to do stacked poker chips in LDD. I've got some interesting ideas for tables in my casino as well. I also came up with a topiary that might not even work outside of LDD, even if the parts came in that color. I also just realized the kind of epic scale this build is. BTW, I watched Ocean's Eleven and the sequels this week, which has given me lots of ideas. Last night I installed two swimming pools next to the high roller villas. I ended up with an interesting effect when viewing the pools from an angle.

Hope to see the rest of it blogged. Masa, can't wait to see the final product. I got a good chunk of my LDD Lost Vega Casino build done, and my Nestlands Market build will be worked on tomorrow. Expect lots of statuary in my LDD build, and some parts usage ideas I've been toying with. I figured out how to do a technique I saw in one of Gideon's builds in LDD.

@DC: At the top left of the reply toolbar is a toggle switch. Have you tried it? Using it puts you into text only mode. This will allow you to use your enter key, as well as edit any code for links. BTW: I now use Google Chrome for most of my regular web browsing, but still use Internet Explorer for some downloading. Lego Shop At Home works better with Google Chrome than Internet Explorer.

All of Yahoo seems to be having server problems. Earlier the image listed as private when I clicked on it. The link works now, but I still can't see the image on the page. You may want to redo the image link. It's cool to see someone who isn't afraid to mod official lego parts. Nice mushroom design.

You might get a tighter radius for your round tower if the 'supports' or 'buttresses' were made out of 1x2 Log bricks. They would allow for the curve to continue (to a limited degree) behind them.

I've been trying to identify what appears to be a Minifig Head Modified in LDD. I can't seem to place it in any set listing. I'm wondering if it is a design for something either not yet released or abandoned. Does anyone know where this is from? LDD Head What by gedren_y, on Flickr

I'm liking the ideas for the Petraea University Part II. I do think the levels should go like this: Apprentice, Novice, Adept and Master. I also got busy on LDD and have a WIP to share. Since some of the parts I'm using are in colors that were never available for them, this will be an LDD only build. I don't think anyone will mind, though.

If you go the Light Grey route, you can distinguish it by making a dead tree in that color and making any rock work in Dark Bley with Sand Blue speckling. Both the 1x2 and 1x4 log bricks are available in that color in good quantities on Bricklink. The Bricklink store Maxspace out of Australia is probably the best store for you if you need those parts.

I was under the impression that those were rouge Varlyrian forces, not backed by the Varlyrio government.
