Location: D04 Terrial Minor Tags: Kawashita, Terrial Minor, Spaceship, Military Mr. S: Let’s see… Mitchell, Darin. Aka Blackhawk. We have a mission for you. Blackhawk: Yes, sir! Rootin’, tootin’, ready for shootin’! Mr. S: Yeah, well, the last time you shot something, you took out one of our planes! Blackhawk: What was that pilot’s name again? Oh, well, he isn’t pressing charges, so who cares? Mr. S: Hmm… Let’s see. I do, for one. And so does the board. We lose enough equipment due to MANTIS activity. We don’t need to lose more because of an over-eager pilot! Even Aera couldn’t defend your actions. She was sitting quietly in the corner pretending not to know you! Blackhawk: Am I being (gulp!) grounded? Mr. S: No, we can’t afford to do that. You’re a hell of a pilot. You handle anything that flies like no one I’ve ever seen. It’s just that you’re overly… enthusiastic. You need to rein that in a bit. Blackhawk: Umm… Yes, sir. What do you want me to do? Mr. S: We have intel that MANTIS is sending a supply convoy to Terrial Minor. We want to intercept them with a Kestrel in orbit before they make planetfall. Blackhawk: Yes, sir! On my way! Blackhawk, moving out!! Mr. S: Hey, at least up there, there isn’t anyone else for him to shoot down… After last week's un-inspired session, I did a little research. I've felt like I needed to up my game a bit, and I think I came up with some possibilities. This is the first attempt in my build style change. I think it's going in a good direction. C & C's welcome! Oh, and Mike S, thanks for being a good sport and not going too hard on me...

The footprints are a great idea! The build kinda reminds me of mine last week (which was a low-inspiration period). Hey, if you're gonna have a minifig on a plate, you might as well spruce the plate up a bit, right?

The Shadow looks more like it came out of Sakura Wars than Gundam, but it's still well done! Maybe it's out of a Kurosawa movie...

That... Is... AWESOME! No, really... I love mecha, and this one totally rocks! With just a few modifications, you could have a superb Gundam. Actually, I take that back. Go for the gold and do a LED Mirage or the Knight of Gold from Five Star Stories. Now THAT would be unspeakably cool...

The arcing worked well, but it can be a pain to keep them together... Still, I'm glad it came out well! Thanks! Thank you! It seems to have come out better than I expected, which is always a good thing! No kidding! I'll have to make sure he gets something cool to fly next week... So that's the secret! Good to know for future reference... Yeah, the hoses worked well. The other trees came about by looking at the octagonal ring pieces and wondering how I could use them. Guess there was still some inspiration to be found! Thank you, both of you! Much appreciated!

Location: Vollfort Tags: Kawashita, Vollfort Blackhawk is really lost… Did he get shot down? Did he wander off the base on Vollfort? Or is it just a dream brought on by a late night consumption of a peanut butter, pickle, and avocado sandwich? Quite frankly, I don’t know any more than you do. If it is the latter, one has to wonder what other gastrointestinal effects the pickles and avocados will have (except the peanut butter. Everything goes with peanut butter. Except brussel sprouts. Nothing goes with brussel sprouts…). Build without the minifig: Inspiration, where have you gone? I had an idea earlier, but couldn’t start building until late, and the idea wasn’t working, so I was stuck. I really thought that I would have to do a minifig on a plate. But it came to me that if I was going to do that, I could spruce the plate up a bit, at least. So it wound up being my first attempt at an environment, using whatever I had. To my Kawashita teammates, my apologies. I hope to do better next week…
