  1. So, arm I'm recalculating everything (and with everything I mean EVERYTHING ) Are last month's MRCA results already calculated in?
  2. I'd love to participate, but my time is so limited and I'm already involved in the guild creation category for the summer joust contest, so I'll pass this on. This time only.
  3. That's again awesome (I'm sounding repititive, I know ) lovely walls, combined with some good half-timbered sections and a marvellous interior... What could a castle-builder wish more for?
  4. I think he uses them for stained-glass windows, but correct me if I'm wrong
  5. Neat build, with especially nice interiors! Great job!
  6. The Arkady (2F) signs up for the double duty Can La Transferata (1T) join the dragon's teeth?
  7. Simple, but with an admirable classic feeling and furniture better then anything I'd ever come up with! Great job Bregir!
  8. I was just reading the mitgardian front-page, and that indeed states that at a certain age, all Mitgardian boys are send off to live a year in the snow and cold. Only if they return alive, they're considerd man! But well, with such a landscape as yours to survive in, I'd count myself lucky to be a Mitgardian boy
  9. Since I tought this may be handy for other people too, I put it here. I'm sorry for the bad image-quality! Tutorial for wall-climbing ivy First, I lay out a base and decide where my wall will be. Then, I decide where the ivy should start. Obviously, that's at the bottom of the wall. It is important to attach it using a brick with stud, and not a headlight. The reason I did not put it totally at the bottom, is so I can add a few brushes and leave-pieces there. It gives a nice, overgrown look (I'm Avalonian, you know ), as can be seen on the third image. There, I have also build up the wall. After that I attach the second leave piece. This one is the most important, since it will determine the direction in wich the ivy will grow. I always try to put the leave-pieces as close to each other as possible, for the overgrown feeling. Sometimes, the brick with stud will leave a gap. You can solve this by using a headlight on it's side. Together with a 1x1 plate, this will be as high as a normal brick, but the stud sticking out will be lower. Here you can see it from the front, and I have also build up the wall. But the most important thing here, and in the whole technique, is that I have used another leave-piece, overlappping the two others. This really gives the overgrown, naturally-looking feeling. You can also use the technique of overlapping leaves to cover a step out, e.g. at your walkway. Note that I ended with an overlapping leave attached to a brick with stud and 1x1 plate. Then build up your walkway again, and clip on another leave-piece. Do this on a brick with stud in the wall, not on the lower leaves! During the build, I tend to use a bit more of relief in the walls (here, I tried the log-effect bricks, but I don't know wether I like them). This adds another lot of atmosphere. When completed, you should have something looking like this: So, I hope that helps. If there are any questions or remarks, let me know!
  10. Actually, it is constantly gaming the system. What's wrong with just keeping things as they are? All factions received ships at the beginning of the game, it is their responsibility to keep these alive. If they're lost, well... They're lost, if you get what I mean? Exception would of course be if they're MOCed...
  11. Great job Maxim! Looks like the naval supremacy of MAESTRO is established
  12. so, I don't want to be whiny, but in my own calculations I end on (after May's MRCA) 191DBs... I have not yet checked the other niets to see what could have gone wrong, but I'll try to do that ASAP
  13. Great ship with a lovely colour-scheme!
  14. Very Nice build, I really like the classic feeling and the angle
  15. Nice rockwork, lovely crane!
  16. Well, I didn't mean the team for the summer joust, but the leading team of GoH (Ska, rogue, ZC,...)...
  17. If I had not fallen in love with Ryse's wife, I would with your story! You're making me so curious! Nice, slimey build!
  18. Oh no, Maxim, why did you have to say that? I was just checking before I went to sleep, but I suppose I can't expect much of that now...
  19. 1. I am around, I check daily and try to commend on as much as possible. 2. At the moment, I'm building for the Summer Joust on Flickr, more specified for the guild creation category. I'm in the Avalonian team (together with Maestro, Milonelsiano and LegoEomer), so the build will of course be Avalonia-related. 3. That's probably my Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/131988607@N08/ 4. I have not been around for very long, so I have not participated in any challenges (tough I did enter both the Frozen Beyond and Historica Husbandry minichallenges) I have not paid much attention to the tasks, tough I did enter the brand-task with the Drond's horses, and have Drondil registered in the settlement-task (no level yet, and I don't know wether I will continue to expand it). I might have some builds qualifying for the other tasks, but I'd rather specifially build something for them then use something that happens to fit
  20. Very Nice vign, bregir! Looking forward to the mine!
