Small but quite cool! Everything just fits very well together: the little bit of landscaping, the woordwork and the stonework, the interior... Nice job man!

The ballista is very nice, I really like the dragon-head (especially the use of minifig-arms is quite cool!) The backgrounds also makes for a very Nocturnian surrounding, great job

Book II, Challenge V, Category B: Barqan Fire Wagon
TitusV replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Oh man, this is gorgeous The Barqan fire is great, especially the pumping mechanisms The real star of this buid is the architecture though. I just absolutely love the building on the left! All the arches, the colourscheme and the roof remind me of holidays in Southern Italy when I was younger.- 19 replies

That's a pretty awesome tower, as HQ said the trans-blue parts make for a very magical feeling while the claw-pieces go for somehting darker and more evil. Great job overall
-
You have imporved a lot, en_zoo! The andscaping is great and I really like the surroundings (especially the wooden fence is quite cool). The tower isq nice as well, only nitpicking would be to use only one style of pathway: either light bley or dark bley, and round or normal tiles. But everything else is great!

Awesome build Jaap! The fenix is just gorgeous (I had never thought these trans-orange pieces could be used for somehting decent ) I also have to say that you really perfectioned that roof-technique, I absolutely love it! The dark blue is such an amazing colours, and all subtle angles and the like make this real eye-candy!

Nice build, I really like the fact that you managed to include an interior as well. Great job

Simple yet wonderful. I just love it And though I have to say the pyramid is very cool, it can only be so cool because of it's gorgeous suroundings. These trees man, just Also very intresting to read what the "big" builders have to say about difficult techniques en styles

I've never sen the movie, but this ârticular scene looks great! I think your effort on the well was well (pun intended ) worth it!

It's cool to see you building for EB's History section, especially with such a cool build! My favoured part must be the beak, it reminds me a bit of the Chima Ravens
-
Well, that's a very impressive castle We say way too few micros here, and especially not from this kind of quality. And it is small, but you have some very nice parts-usages in there! Amazing job
-
Aye, we will. Thanks captain! Thanks HQ! As for the bush: I tried to represent an evergreen, which are usually smaller at the top. Thank you! Thanks Brandon! I look forward to it as well. Thanks LJ. And though it may be nitpicking, you're completely right about that piece of rockwork. Thanks SK! Tree inspired by you, as is the base
-
oh man this is so cool! You really got feeling for these irregular bases, and I love the trees! In general, I'm no fan of that share of blue, but I think you used it quite effectively here
-
Thank you Alfadas! Thanks! You're probably right about the base, I have recently used it with great effect and I thought "why not?", but I should probably have left it smooth. Thanks Maestro! Dark green could indeed use some more detailing, but you don't see that anymore when you put figs on it

With Lord Stark's aid, Alric now feels confident enough to harass the Spire's troops. Lord Stark (@Brandon Stark) and Lord Drondil: -------------------- Just a fast build to progress the story, nothing fancy here. Tryed out a combination of different shades of green, but I'm not completely satisfied. Also my very first time using a mixel-joint in a MOC. CC very welcome! Additional image, figless:

So your base works fine for greater buildings as well! I really like the roof, and the low shed is great as weel. Good job
-
Really cool build man! The overgrown look makes it very Avalonian, though it also contains an Asian feeling. Great job, nothing to remark (except that I really like the stairs on the backside)!

[Brandon Stark: Part 1, Chapter 4] Overlooking the Reach
TitusV replied to Brandon Stark's topic in Guilds of Historica
Neat build! You tree could indeed have used some more leaves, but overall a very fine build, esoecially the forced perspective looking forward to the rest of the story! -
Really cool House! I really like how you used a slightly different style then the other houses, but still made this MOC feel similar. HQ may be right with his question about extra-ordinary woodwork... Anyway, you're doing a great job, keep it up!

Book II, Challenge V, Cat A - Buying time
TitusV replied to Trooper919's topic in Guilds of Historica
Some cool figs here, though as HQ says deeplinking the images would have really improved the experience. -
Really cool build! I absolutely love the last image I'd recommend to use some wedge-plates for the base, but that's itpicking You did a great job!
