  1. Thank you SK, for the comment but for letting me do this tutorial as well! Thanks Gunman, glad you like the bridge (inspired by DC's guide, as always) It's not because they're medieval villagers, they can't keep their village orderly Thanks Lazer!
  2. @The Maestro: of course I am! I only hope that I'll be able to get an entry in...
  3. I hope it never stops, because your builds are getting really sweet! These brown rounded things are soooo lovely, I'll need to get myself a few as well (from where are they, because I've never seen them before?) Your colourscheme is top-notch as well, and I really like the crops growing to the left of the cottage Congratz on the title, well deserved sir!
  4. For they who're intrested: I'm very, very honoured to announce that @Exetrius's and @jaapxaap's lay-out will also be seeable at BrickMania Antwerp, where their lovely build will be integrated in an amazing lay-out!
  5. As has been said before: choose whichever guild you have the best feeling for! (though honestly, Avalonia is just too cool)
  6. Sure, just drop me a PM any time! If possible, I really want to help you out!
  7. Now this is how I'd imagine the Mystic Isles! Sweet build! The trees are majestic, and I really like your colour scheme, with all the brighter shades of green. My only point of critique would be that the roofs don't align properly with the walls, but that's a small detail when looking to such an immense build. A special thubups for the little boat, probably my favoured detail of whole MOC
  8. You have already improved a lot, kahir! The SNOTted sections arer great, and I really like the pools The three scattered planks are a neat detail too, good job!
  9. Neat! the tree is quite nice (some additional leaves might improve it), and I absolutely love the boar (because I suck at building animals myself, and this is suc a cool one)
  10. Wow. Just wow. Though I don't have much time to play games, I still got M&B Warband on my pc. It's a sweet game indeed, and the modability makes it even sweeter, so I absolutely love this project! Now, I'm not good at modding myself, especially because I'm a bit of purist in games too and always try to play the vanilla version. However, since I'm familiar with both the game and the world of Historica, I might be able to help you out on some points if you want to... In that case I'm not thinking of the actually coding or designing itself, but into content/balancing etc. Anyway, your banners look lovely already!
  11. As have I, with no builds at all since Avonhem Manor...
  12. I can't help but agree with your wife: this defenitely is your best build to date! The hexagonal tower, the stonework, the gate, ... Just loving it Glad you were in our team, HQ!
  13. @Henjin_Quilones: yihaa, past time buddy! Gonna admire it at once!
  14. Cool build Kahir! The black base is really nice, and though I feel like the sand green is quite blocky, the wall is nice too, and I especially like the wooden supports!
  15. Ah, nothing as good as an old-style robbing! Though I'm no big fan of the prefab trees (that's personal though, and a brickbuilt tree is very hard to pull off rightly), and I would recommend to add some more plates to the landscaping if possible (to avoid the"blocky" feeling), it's a nice moc for sure! Also, thumbs up for the wagon!
  16. Your micro's keep improving, SK! Love the fact that here, too, the snow has made it's way in! The technic parts are great, they remind me of the Game of Thrones intro, which defenitely is good thing. Even better is the fact that to me, it looks a bit like a micro of Nordheim Keep, and as you'll probably remember that's my favoured MOC ever Nice job all together!
  17. Completely seconded, especially the last sentence. Again, good job HQ!
  18. That's what I want to here! Raise high these sand green banners!
  19. As Exetrius rightly said, prcs are most frequently seen in the Darklands. Nocturnus also has the most varied population, which would fit your collection of minifigs it seems. But if you want to join the coolest guild, come and join Avalonia! (sorry guys, just had to say that)
  20. O-o, I hope that poor guy survives! Neat build, I really like the grave-stone Though the border is a bit rough (I'd recommend squaring out and putting something black around it, or so), the piles of equipment lying around are lovely (especially that hat on the spade!)
  21. So, IMHO, this MOC has an up- and a downside. Quite litterally, because I really, really like the front side! The statues, the pattern on top of the gate,... are all super sweet The opposite goes for the backside though: I'm no fan of the tan-black-sand green-combo, and the studs of the arch stand out a lot in the very polished scene... Still, for an hour of work this is a decent result!
  22. @Henjin_Quilones: you're doing an excellent job of explaining the guilds, buddy! Maybe leave some questions to me next time, because I feel quite useless now
  23. True! Though if we go completely by vote, the leadership's votes are missing too, and with 4 guild leaders that would make 24 - 36 - 52 points to ditribute, which is quite a lot
  24. Nice job Gideon! I don't know which way of counting the leadership will use, but I feel like it'll be a close call between HQ and me any time, with the first having a slight lead (which is also what I felt when scrolling trhough this thread)
  25. Neat scene, especially thumbs up for the guy doing the windows! Congratulations for being a knight!
