  1. A fair educated guess, I'd say. I imagine it could be a large battering-spear with a drill end. I think this feeling may be caused by the distribution of the special characters, more so than the actual variety. If Monstrox, Berserker and Pola were included in respectively the Rolling Arsenal, the X-Bow and the Tech Wizard showdown, the three most expensive sets, I think it would have felt differently. That said, if a summer wave is indeed in the works, then I would expect at least two new special characters under command of (a physical) Monstrox.
  2. Found the following minifig head on a convention, anyone know what set it came in?
  3. I believe it calculates points per piece added. So, if you order 50 different pieces, but none exceed 1 euro individually (note: taking into account their quantities), you won't receive any vip points.
  4. @cebelicamya Even better with those design numbers, fantastic! Seems like a dark red sleepy head hairpiece indeed. I noticed Neuro's hairpiece isn't on there yet, but the fig isn't in the brickset or bricklink database, but the latter one does have a good pic (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=5004938-1#T=I). White mould, black printing. Another one not on there, surprisingly, is Echo Zane's hair in Warm Gold (https://brickset.com/parts/6147213/mini-wig-crewcut), easily confused with Metallized Gold when looking at part renderings. @Agent Kallus I suggested the upper one on the first page of the thread, I think.
  5. Official images are out for some of the Star Wars 2018 sets: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Star-Wars/year-2018 Turns out that gorgeous hair with headphones piece also comes in black, in addition to brown! Edit: New friends hairpieces in the following sets: https://brickset.com/sets/41333-1/Olivia-s-Mission-Vehicle https://brickset.com/sets/41334-1/Andrea-s-Park-Performance https://brickset.com/sets/41338-1/Stephanie-s-Sports-Arena Especially the latter two are valuable additions to the inventory. Also, there is a leaked black panther fig with a really neat new hairmould. :)
  6. TBB has published City set images, among them is the set I talked about with the grey track elements:
  7. Never noticed those watermelons! Even more reason to get that small set!
  8. Space minecart, or a public space colony transport system. A large, and very smooth turntable. Maybe elevator with differences in corner and 'depth', maybe? I just realized that this system lends itself to some extent for track switches, because the track pieces do not directly connect to each other. Thus, you can switch tracks via sideways substitution, which could easily be motorized. Switch to a overhead track by substituting a on ordinary straight with a steep sloped one. Or, it can be done with same-leveled tracks as well, but you'll need to insert a U-turn or S-turn to connect to a parallel track, because for perpendicular one you run into a spatial problem.
  9. Thank you! Thanks! It was fun to play around with those plasma beams
  10. Really? I think I've seen that on preliminary promotional art, but not in one of the sets. Although the front page isn't up to date yet and some suggestions may be scattered around the thread, I think I found three missing ones:
  11. I hope this has been resolved in the meantime? If not, I'll try helping. On desktop, removing should never be an issue, so I assume you are on mobile or tablet. I tried on my iPad, but I didn't encounter any problem when typing [.spoiler] [./spoiler], when all the text you want to hide is between those. I didn't see the spoiler button in the interface (on iPad) though, whereas it is there on desktop. And I think you are right: you cannot remove a quote or spoiler on mobile/tablet if there isn't a line under it.
  12. I'd sure like to make a second! I certainly want to go for the same scale again, and this one will be kept together at least till that happens. So there will be a fight. No, no; I'm really thankful for your suggestions, very valuable info! Of the whole mech, that part is the easiest to take off and replace, so I will be looking into that (sometime).
  13. Wandering on B&P again. Some things I encountered that I haven't seen available in the past (except for the white helmet): Unfortunately, the Rocket Raccoon tail is 1,10 euro, but Aquaman's gunmetal trident is pretty cheap: only 21 cents!
  14. Hi guys! Back in March, I came to this subforum to share my first sci-fi creation (this one). Finishing that one sparked a range of ideas for other builds in the mobile suit (a.k.a. mech) genre. Today I'm sharing my second mobile suit MOC: "OXON III". Overview & Specifications OXON III is an assault-type mobile suit, designed for military interventions and special operations. Model III is loaded with sophisticated features, including: Anti-radar stealth armour Projectile trajectory tracking system (PTTS) Booster-assisted super-maneuverability NervLink cockpit 2 wrist cannons 2 retractable turrets 4 hidden plasma cannons Functionality Target acquired. Shoulder mounted PTTS activated. Plasma cannon hatches deployed. Firing plasma cannons. Deploy and firing turrets. Warning: Failure detected. Location: Left turret. Functionality report: 50%. Condition report: Steady. Cause: Unknown. Ejecting pilot. Articulation & Posability Size comparison Builder's notes I had three main goals in mind for OXON. First of all, it needed to be larger than Handyman (pictured above, left). Secondly, it would have improved articulation and body proportions. Thirdly, I wanted it to have hidden weapons. For the colour scheme, I settled on black, accents of white and (printed) silver decorations. To underline the military, stealthy purpose of the mech, I chose to stick to angular shapes as much as possible. There were a couple of challenges with this build. I started with the thighs, which have an internal bend to allow the legs to come further inward than the standard 90 degree angle (ratcheted joint) with the hips. Then, getting the plasma cannons into the shoulders was harder than I expected. However, the most difficult part came at the end, when I discovered that the ankles needed additional friction to support the weight in various positions. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out the ankle stabilizers, but to be honest I'm really proud of how they work and look. Conclusion Overall, I think I have made great steps with OXON. I achieved the goals that I had in mind and I am more than satisfied with the result. It makes me already look forward to my next mech build! As always, C&C appreciated!
  15. The largest sets tend to be released in summer, so there is certainly a chance of an End City set in 2018. Looking forward to see those Stray's up close btw, I'm curious if they are going to use actual cloth pieces.
  16. The second CMF series of TLBM leaked, and it includes a few interesting parts. Excuse my ignorance of the names, I haven't seen the movie nor have I ever read any comics. In order of their number on the sheet: 5. Merman Batman. Usefulness of fantasy Batman variants has been matter for debate here earlier, but some may find a good new use for the torso and black tail piece 13. (and 14) Don't know what these lavender guys Wonder Twins are called, but anyway: Elf hair in black with flesh ears, as well as a purple collar cape. 15. Some kind of Apache? Nougat skin tone. 16. Sage Superman? Jor-El. He has white Superman hair and is dressed in white, priest-like robes from what I can tell. 18. Dr. Phosphorus. Spring yellowish green skeleton man with classic flame pieces in trans fluorescent green. Great for magic. 20. Reverse Flash Black Vulcan. Another one for magic: newer style lightning pieces in trans yellow! Also, dual moulded legs: brown on top, yellow below. Should be useful for non-fleshie characters.
  17. Well, look what we have here! TLBM Joker hair recoloured in purple: https://brickset.com/sets/72002-1/Twinfector It's great to get these unrealistic hair colours, particularly for recreating characters from anime.
  18. You are very right indeed! The rate at which new hair moulds have been released is greater than ever, but at this point I value a recolour more than a new piece that is only slightly different from an already existing one.
  19. Two (out of two) colours were available: reddish brown and black.
  20. I think you still have to be approved by one of the admins.
  21. @cebelicamya I know, good stuff, right! Great find! Also available from the ninjago movie sets: (sorry for the large images, but I think it works better than writing down item numbers)
  22. Diagnosis: seriously addicted. Sometimes, I get side-tracked while getting dressed.
  23. Sweet, maybe I will actually manage a Cat. A entry, then!
