  1. My order arrived! And you know what that means... Epic lootshot time!
  2. Oops, my bad! I'm running a few seasons behind... That would be fantastic! Maybe something like these custom figs I made last year:
  3. @Kim-Kwang-Seok Kimono Nya will be in the Bricktober pack, remember? :)
  4. Really digging that! It's good to have more continuity of the races of Ninjago. Yes. Facial markings are always a plus! That said though, some of the stone army heads had clashing colours imo - lime eyes, blue markings and red mouths.
  5. To be honest, I'm all for more consistency! Btw, a big order of mine should be arriving this week, so look out for a lootshot!
  6. Thanks a lot, glad you like like it! Anyway, I bet you won't miss it again now that I have updated my signature, haha! There's a lot of cool parts out there that deserve to be recoloured, Psyclone's helmet is certainly one of them!
  7. @curtquarquesso You've sure done your homework! I really hope they will be available through B&P, but it remains to be seen, as always.
  8. I know I've talked about HP Wizarding World already (candles, wands, square lattices, beasts, etc.), but since then the CMF series has been revealed, which brings us even more novelties: Articulated short legs! You may have been living under a rock if you haven't heard about them by now. Useful for teens, young adults and possibly other (human) breeds. New leaf stem mould. To add some more biodiversity to your castle scenes. Black magical (?) book. We've had brown and gold ones for a while, but black is very welcome! Barefoot fleshie short legs. Useful for making hobbits or adding a sense of poverty to a scene. Dumbledore's new beard mould. One can never have too many beards. Invisibility cloak. Quite specific, but a wonderful fantasy item nonetheless! Multiple recolours of and ornate prints on the recent skirt piece. New colour of owl, new realistic snake mould. In other news: after the Marvel/DC power blasts pack and Ninjago weapons pack (both amazing and deserving of more recolours!), here's another one! The spider web pack: I'm rather liking this trend! Keep up the good work, design team!
  9. Nocturnus has always been a hostile place, filled with danger around every corner: beasts, bands of thieves, rogues, and the hostile terrain itself. Our territories of control have never extended much further than the settlements themselves. So it's mostly Nocty business as usual.
  10. @LegoMonorailFan Thanks very much! I'm glad you like it!
  11. For the sake of completion, I'll echo what I said in the Book III thread: There are a few things that we as a Guild should figure out: What's the backlash from the civil war, what's life like? What's the state of our settlements? How about: Abyssian (Capital) Shadowmere Kyrrath Skavenport Zotharith After defeating the common enemy, what path do the powers of the Resistance take?
  12. @Bricked1980 That looks great! So great in fact, that I think you may indeed run into trouble. Your shots are already outstanding, so I wouldn't take the risk if I were you.
  13. Can't see the images in the Varlyrio thread?? I'm on mobile, I tried the desktop page but that doesn't solve it.
  14. @Digger of Bricks have you found mine yet? My new one, that is!
  15. @TitusV @dathil Guess we'll be the grandkids then..
  16. After some thought, I think I can come to terms with Nocturnus being closed for participation in the main plot line. For following reasons/conditions: We can still build in the Darklands, yay! This means current Nocturnians (and others) can continue fleshing out existing settlements, thereby strengthening the Nocturnian identity (@mccoyed ). It makes sense. Raavage, the Drow and the Algus, which had a tight grip on the Darklands - to greater or lesser extent - were defeated by the Resistance, but the dust hasn't settled. The new powers of Nocturnus haven't really taken the stage yet. @ZCerberus I don't know what the plans are, but I see a potential to combine several entries of the Safe Haven contest with Valyrio as a capital. That would make Valyrio as diverse as Nocturnus, in it's own way. And it's also an acknowledgement/canonization of areas that have already been established for a bit. It may also add some biomes/architectural themes that are new to the Guilds. For example, derivatives of Meso-America, Polynesia and southern Africa.
  17. Those expressions and their respective captions are so spot-on! Quality entertainment!
  18. I've built three (MOC) mechs now and what I can say is that the effect of weight is not to be underestimated. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Trying to make sure everything remains attached when it falls over is challenging. Aditionally, as the weight increases, joints will approach a point where they are no longer able to hold their pose. On top of that, the price that you pay for, say, a little bit of extra space in the cockpit (i.e. 4x4 to 6x6 studs) is really high, because increasing the size of one body part results in having to increase all body proportions. So weight and complexity grow exponentially.
  19. I'm in love with that head! What's fascinating me most is the fact that the specialized nose element looks so good for a head as a whole, but only thanks to your efforts creating a custom jaw and the back of the head (great use of the horns!). As others have already said: beautiful colour scheme! Fantastic creation, man!
  20. Thanks, glad to hear that!
  21. X-RAY³ Mobile Suit I'm back with another mech! The head takes after OXON, but overall I went with a more beastly vibe, somewhat inspired by Horizon Zero Dawn. I chose yellow because I had never really used it as a main colour before and for its association with danger and toxicity. Without further ado, let's get into the pictures and some backstory: X-RAY³ is a special assault-type mobile suit. It is a vicious firestarter, designed for aggressive surprise attacks that plunge the enemy into chaos. While rampaging with its multi-compound chemical blasters, its various sensory systems gather as much data within enemy territory as possible, before the main forces arrive. The multi-compound blasters are like miniature chemical plants, producing a range of combustibles, acids and noxious gasses. Opening hatches: LIDAR imaging sensors, cockpit and fuel cell compartment. The fearless adrenaline junkie that pilots X-RAY. And that's it! I particularly enjoyed doing the chicken legs (with mechanical claws!) and head. The shoulders were challenging, I wanted to get those 45-year-old dual-moulded (?) doors in. The spinal neck was cool to do, but unfortunately the head pops off quite frequently when I try to pose it. I'm really happy with how the blasters turned out - it took lots of trial and error - although I wish they would have as much detail on the inside as the outside, since that side is exposed a lot when the blasters are facing outwards. On the whole, I like it very much. I'm already planning the next mobile suit in the line! Thanks for looking, I hope you like it! C&C always welcome!
  22. Hey man, come on. I get it, you'd like to see your support count grow. Same here. But don't keep throwing the same thing at the same people over and over again. Most of us have either already supported or have decided not to, and that's that. Maybe you can pour some energy in a secondary project, or something.. Just my my cents.
  23. ... In the light of this comment I will be more quick to respond and a put a little less effort in this post than planned: Hereby, I, Exetrius Centario of Zotharith, swear loyalty to Nocturnus! The story of Exetrius and many other characters related to the Centario family and Zotharith, will return! New sigfigs, new stories, new builds; exciting times!
  24. Smooth, very smooth. Well played..
  25. I'm always extra skeptical when it comes to rumours about revisited stuff, but it would be neat for sure. More accurate Golden Weapons, please!
