Yes, crazy cool stuff! On the other hand, let's not take prototypes into account for this list, otherwise things will get even more complicated and harder to manage than it already is!

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Exetrius replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
It's been about 8 months (and six builds) since my last true Nocty build... I should feel ashamed! Nevertheless, before I pick up my work on Zotharith, I first want to finish my story arc in Katapuja, and my plans for that are at least somewhat Nocty. -

Hey, another cool thread! What is the single rarest and/or most expensive LEGO piece?
Exetrius replied to RunnersDad's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, you've got a point. The more of the lattices you have, the more possibilities will emerge, and that doesn't hold true for the mask. -
Sweet!

What is the single rarest and/or most expensive LEGO piece?
Exetrius replied to RunnersDad's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The lattice is less rare and less expensive than the platinum Avohkii, those are the facts. Desirability within the "Lego Community" is difficult to determine without solid numbers (I doubt the Star Wars community is bigger than City, for example), but ask a random kid/adult (LEGO fan or not) to choose between a shiny, solid platinum mask, or an ordinary looking grey fence.. I think we'd be done very soon. Edit: I should read more carefully, it's not exactly a production piece, is it? ... -

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Exetrius replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The civilian in brown in the NC Docks set (https://brickset.com/sets/70657-1) looks really useful as a castle peasant. The Elvenstar Tree Bat Attack is just stunning. @Aanchir summed up all the good stuff, except for more translucent recolours of the vine piece. [Lester] Daimler-Benz Navigator CT
Exetrius replied to Sci-FiFleetAdmiral's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great job on the bodywork, especially with the grill, hood and fenders! Fantastic to see there is steering, too! The only thing I don't really like is the seating, which lacks texture and looks uncomfortable because of that, although the colour is just right. Another minor point of criticism: it would be nice to have a shot with the sitting behind the wheel. On the whole: well done!- 6 replies

[Lester] Dark Green Jungle Machine
Exetrius replied to Bricknave's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
A build with character! Great choice of colour, smooth finish and fun functionality. The huge tires on black rims and white on black licence plate complete the look. -
Solid work, some very good shaping! I'm not too fond of the use of golden 'bling' here, imho it doesn't match the adventure vibe of the rest of the vehicle, although I do not directly see a direct way of colour swapping those parts. The roof railing is nicely done, and neat integration of the awning. Sacrificing the doors to allow for two seats and a gear shift was also a good idea. Bonus points for the engine! @Sci-FiFleetAdmiral That sounds familiar... https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/160883-lester-mehadja-inspector/

The tail lights are dope! Somehow reminds me of Need for Speed.

[Lester] a very gray half track
Exetrius replied to Space Police XVIII's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This though.. Honestly, the wheely function and mobile kitchen are great my favorite parts here, followed by the tracks. -
The previous overviews looked good, but this is even better! I just noticed that the (spiky) mohawk is recoulered in blue in one of the Batman sets:

BANDAGE NO. 1 Element 6192049 It's available! -
Thank you! That steering wheel construction gave me enough headaches, that's for sure! On the other hand, it did indeed allow for the curves and thinner walls, while maintaining just enough structural integrity. Thanks, man! I tried to take away as much squared-ness as possible, but I think it's still the weakest point of this model. I had Sand Blue 1x3 and 1x4 plates, 1x2 and 2x4 tiles to work with, I really missed the curved plates and wedges one would normally use. But that's part of the challenge. Great suggestion, hadn't considered that! How do you like that? I know, right?
