Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
@J4ck too bad about the images.. I did a quick check of the parts, didn't know about the white riot shield, nice! And I need that neck part with four attachment points! -
Speaking of which... I think I found Salazar's hair in yellow as the flame on the Architecture Statue of Liberty LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty (21042) by Allen Tran, on Flickr

After seeing the Oni Titan in high resolution (https://youtu.be/cuC3-EC8XGE), I'm pretty sure that the face is indeed printed and also that Garmadon has a new print, thus without the purple ooze. Good stuff. Interpunction was invented for a reason, you know?

Eurobricks Glinch Royale Competition (WINNERS ANNOUNCED)
Exetrius replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Got around taking photos and posting my entry! Here it is: Thanks for this crazy contest! -
After a bumpy ride through the Viniculum, Nick Bluetooth lands the Trans Dimensional Navigator Module and sets foot on Galidor. He has a fateful encounter with Jens, his future robot companion. Hi guys! I present to you the hugely iconic TDN module, the coolest craft in the history ever. Jokes aside, building this was quite a challenge! Not only had I never attempted to accurately translate a model from a franchise to bricks in minifig scale, but also the choice of colour was a limiting factor. In the end, I think the model captures the overall concept fairly well (the "bigger on the inside" thing was kind of hard to realise.. ) and I'm pretty satisfied. I wish I had a sand blue plain nexo shield (from the Brick Bank) to replace the 1x2 tiles right above the cockpit window, though, to match the actual thing: https://brickset.com/sets/8315-1/TDN-Module. Anyway, I hope you like it! Thanks for looking!

Take a look at the artwork to the right of the Docks, now we know where it connects. The stairway leads up to the upper walkway of the Ninjago City set. We are looking at the back of the houses. I bet the designers did put a lot of effort in the fronts that face the same way as Ninjago City, so once I see that side I make my judgement. The new figs are nice, but the lack of Fuchsia Ninja disturbs me... Oh, and the Oni Giant is very cool! I just hope the face is a print, otherwise it would definitely skip it. Look at Garmadon and his blades though..

Contest: Lester's Big Adventure!
Exetrius replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Entry is here: -
Kasjmir, 1938 My dearest Lester, The news has reached me that you are about to embark on an adventure, how wonderful! It seems you have inherited your father's wanderlust after all, which joys me greatly. He would have been so proud, and so am I. It has been a while since I last saw you, when was it again; before I left for Nepal I suppose? In any case, your uncle is looking forward to explore haunted tombs with you! Alright, enough with the chitter-chatter. You are in need of proper equipment. Travelling India is like a walk in the park, except there are no benches, no paths, more bushes, more mud pools, and all dogs are replaced by tigers and venomous snakes. In all honesty, it matters not what I write down here, I cannot prepare you for all that lies ahead of you. Yet, I do happen to have acquired a globe-worthy vehicle, a Mehadja Inspector no less, from an acquaintance in Delhi. It will get to you in little more than a month, so I advise you to start packing your luggage... See you soon! Kindest regards, your Uncle, Samuel Eon Hi everyone, here is my entry to the Lester contest! It was fun to once again step out of my genre and try something different. I interpreted the content guidelines quite freely: a vehicle that can travel the world, roughly the same theme and scale as the example vehicles. As you can see, it's sort of a jeep-truck. The 7-wide wheelbase and working suspension make this a very terrain-worthy machine, it can do slopes of 40 degrees without tipping over, by far the most fun feature here in my opinion! I hope this is a qualifying entry! More pictures can be found here on Flickr: https://flic.kr/s/aHskCwM8GW. Thanks for looking!

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Exetrius replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Target audience is key. Ninjago started out with bright colours, the theme matured along with its fans, thus developing a more muted colour scheme. Castle is targeted at younger kids, so it needs a brighter colour scheme. Can we end the "new castle theme" discussion here? There are enough threads to turn to for that. -

Contest: Lester's Big Adventure!

Finished my entry today, now I'll just have to wait for an opportunity to snap the pics... @Peppermint_M Those hat badges look splendid! -
Nocturnus doesn't have a Mediterranean climate: too humid in the south, to temperate in the east and north, and desert/land climate to the west of the Rakath chain. Maybe it's not completely out of the question with the Goolag Archipelago.
-
Smooth work on the front fenders and the exhaust pipe is a really nice touch, fits in perfectly!
-
@Ares, bearing the name of the God of War, welcome! If you are looking for the darkest and bloodiest guild, look no further: Nocturnus is the place to be!

Yes, Ecc is from the Netherlands. I see he hasn't read my EB message yet, but he's been active on the forum 2 hours ago it says. I assume he's busy with life stuff. I'd be nice if I would recieve my prize before the start of summer, though! -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Exetrius replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
YES, please! ( I have some lists here, some were up to date a month or two ago, others are more recent. Some contain a lot of parts that have been mentioned and others haven't, I think having something visual to look at is helpful either way. From most recent to least recent: -

None of those options sounds particularly likely to me, but hopefully we will see a new minifigure pack this year? For a version with glasses, this minifig may be suitable enough: https://brickset.com/minifigs/col108/computer-programmer-minifig-only-entry

Eurobricks Glinch Royale Competition (WINNERS ANNOUNCED)
Exetrius replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I just noticed those strange symbols are actually an alphabetic font, wow! Most of it I can decipher: "THE GREAT GLINCH SWITCH" "GO FOR THE PRON?E . STATE OF THE ART" "TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY PLEASE SEE THE CONTEST TOPIC FOR FU?L DETAILS AND GUIDELINES" I read that, sorry! I'm used to GoH, where there is always a separate thread where all the links to the entry topics are to be posted. I suppose that would be done in this thread, then? Uh... read it again: ga-li-dor. https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Galidor and the TV series: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0310457/ -
