That is a fantastic vehicle! The suspension on the skis are great! I like this polar colorscheme as well. I'll definitely have to try that at some point!

Location: A08 Crentium Tags: MANTIS, land vehicle AG: The Chase Continues by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's log 15: My plan to chase the Kawashitan commander off the ship worked! I managed to follow him through another gate, and eventually we crash landed in a remote place of startling colors. Each ship had its own X1-P1 Land Speeder, so the chase continued. A few moments ago I shot down the commander's speeder, and now he (hopefully) won't escape again... These X1-P1 Land Speeders are pretty nifty! I think I'll keep it if I can find a MANTIS base on this planet. ~ DD out ----------------------------------------------------------------- Some of you might remember seeing this a few weeks ago on Flickr. When I built this I knew I wouldn't have much time to build for AG week August 30th - September 6th, so I did a bit of building ahead. It was either this weekly build or a Category B entry. I opted to make a weekly build (because domination ).

I'd like to transfer 20 credits to SpacerSteve.

Just use late builds as weekly builds - they count for more domination points anyway (just less credits because of the different scale) For things like this I like solid deadlines with no extensions or exceptions. I'm not against a few minutes for someone giving an explanation (that is hopefully explained publicly) or getting points deducted or something like that either. In general, it is a push it once, and it'll get pushed again type of thing...at least that is the way it tends to go. Still, my preference is a solid deadline. The anywhere in the world deadline is nice enough I think.

Awesome design! The engines and cockpit area are my favorite! Great mix of MANTIS colors as well.

Welcome to MANTIS Ivan Wolf and engineer Max! Your resumes are currently going through our system. Assuming all goes well, you will be granted access to classified data. You may begin building for MANTIS domination immediately! Once you are granted access to classified data, you will know which planets we are targeting. We all look forward to what you will bring to the table. Our CEO, Big Sal, will be clearing your resumes and sending out the code you will need to access the data (PM invitation). Welcome to the team! ~ Dave Daring (Double D), 1st Branch Executive

Location: A04 Mynderis - inside a Kawashitan Frigate Tags: MANTIS, spying, military, spaceship interior AG: A New Plan by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's Log 14: When MANTIS left the frigate, Dave Daring went back to see if he could find out more about the other corporation's plans. While inside, the lights got dim and the ship started to jump through several gates. He was no longer in sector D04. Finally, the frigate came to a calm speed, so he assumed that they had arrived at their next destination. He had to get more information. Eventually Dave found the commander whom he chased earlier. He soon discovered that Kawashita had switched targets and that they were now focused on Mynderis. If the commander were driven out of the ship, Dave figured he could follow him and learn the details of their plan. Knowing where the private fighters were located, he figured he could chase the commander out of the ship and back into the gate that they just came from.....if only it will work... I've uploaded some behind the scenes pictures from my last post with the angled walls for those interested http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=113208entry2308124

Heh, yeah it does have a lot of options. "gathering intels, hacking computers or sabotaging any other corporation equipment" Special forces in general have lots of job options, though I've already done a few builds that didn't get the 3 credit bonus. Haha, I was actually thinking that! Poor Octan won't be able to send it's operatives on special vacations.

I like the art of space war and pirate hat as they are. It is supposed to be hard to get the art of space war - second domination point bonus (well, -1 for other corporations, but pretty much the same thing). Even though its "worth" is the same as DforD, it is meant to be harder to get than the DforD book. To me, the stealth ship makes sense that you have to spy. Going to any planet you want and then build whatever? For the Pirate hat I like that you don't need to make it a piracy build (unless that was its intention and accidentally left out). You can damage other corporations' resources with military builds, sabotage, or "blocking" their transporation paths by putting a big spaceship in the atmosphere. Furthermore, it helps in that you can't use the pirate hat if you build on a planet already held by your corporation. You can only use it if you're building on a planet controlled by another corp. It would be cool if stealth mode were discounted a little if you already have a spying outfit, but eh, perhaps it is already discounted since it's so nice that you can build wherever you want!

This is superb! Excellent job getting the beach texture and merging it with the foliage. That water vacume vehicle is awesome! Nice use of one of those Ninjago spinners.
-
Fantastic scene! Love how you made Kawashita's symbol. The Radar looks great, and I like how you made its base fade into the sand. Excellent vehicle as well, awesome job!

Woah, fantastic series of builds! The flames are awesome, the crash scene is excellent, the blur effect is great, and the tree is beautiful! Can't wait to see what happens next.

Just like that. Say you're an alien, and post your 100x100px picture.

First I was like, ooh, that's a nice interior! Then I was like, check out the club! Next, I was like no way, and then, that rockwork, and then WOW! What a series of builds! Each is excellently crafted, and the attention to detail is amazing. Stunning work!

Yup, I like the large screens! Lots of cool details here!

Welcome to M.A.N.T.I.S Tsalu Ateyok. Your resume is currently going through our evaluation and security tests. Although I can't give away every detail at the moment, you will need to post a 100x100px picture of your character in the Introduction and Discussion topic along with your name, selected job, and of course your corporation much like you did here. The 100x100px picture is so that you can be added to the players index. Once the security tests are complete, you will be granted access to Classified Data. Credits will be awarded to you after you complete your first mission. Targeted planets are classified data, but you should be granted access to that information soon. Classified Data will be granted to you by our CEO - Big Sal. In the meantime, feel free to start building for M.A.N.T.I.S. domination immediately (spaceships, speeders and the like are usually good things to start with because of their flexibility to be used on planets).
