  1. Bob allows Alt Bricks leaves and grass stalks.
  2. I quite like this pink landscape! The library is well done too, and I've got to say your character is fun to watch!
  3. Location: F02 - Lesser Drigo Tags: MANTIS, Spying AG: Octan Games by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's log 8: Several days after being sent on our next mission from the MANTIS LD HQ[/ul], we emerged from a large crack in the ground much like the one I was in during my Waterbug mission. Of course we had already bypassed any heavy security that patrolled the boarders so all we needed was a way inside the building. We spotted something a few hundred meters East that looked interesting, so we went to go see what it was. "Well that's just cheating! Equipping your bot with a shock-pulse gun!" "Well, no one is here to see it, huh? Too bad. Who needs that hunk of junk rolling bot nowadays anyway!" "Fine, wait till I get my bot and THEN we'll see who's got a good fighter. This was just a test round to make sure I'm not going to waste my time with a fight against something too wipmy." "OH?! Is that a challenge?! Haha, I accept! Let's go get this 'champ' of a bot that you claim to got!" "Did you just make a rhyme?" "I don't care. Let's go, Jerry will recycle the parts from the losing bot - if he can find any! Haha!" When we arrived, we found a lone robot that apparently lost to a duel against another one of Octan's robots. It almost looked sad...plus it may have had some nice Octan information or key of some sort, so we decided to fix it. Almost immediately, the bot seemed to take a liking to us! It even changed it's camera light to green rather than the hideous red it had before we had fixed it. After playing around with its electronics for a bit, we found that the bot could enter the complex through a door designed for small robots. It was perfect. We had found a way in without being detected! Looks like we had found a new friend. ~DD out
  4. As others have already said, that lava looks good! The vehicle too is great! Poor camera...wait...that could be a thing! Find the camera from the last person who lost it. So someone has to go to G10 to find it, then lose it somewhere else for another person to find etc. etc.
  5. That mech is so cool - and it's functional, which takes it up another notch! I like all of the blues and the stepped landscaping with the rocks. Awesome!
  6. I'm a big fan of those pipes! The ground texuring is very well done and doesn't look plain despite it being flat. Fantastic work John!
  7. Haha, great plot twist! Hope he gets out soon!
  8. That is quite the contraption! Nice!
  9. I too like the two leveled look, and I like that you chose to have different lighting for above and below the waterline.
  10. Awesome build Mark, looks so fast, creepy, and dangerous! Haha, where are those humor settings!
  11. I really like the smoke/steam/gas coming out of the ground. The colors here excellent, and that land speeder is awesome!
  12. Fantastic micro build! I like the use of the ball joint for the one angled section. I like the big trans green domes and the pipes that come from them. Great job!
  13. Welcome to M.A.N.T.I.S. Donnie Bricko!
  14. I would like to transfer 63 credits to Ace Jagjit
  15. Wow, that design is amazing! Love the front wheels, and the two large cylinders in the back are fantastic. Masterful!
  16. Location: Lesser Drigo F02 Tags: MANTIS, spying, building AG: MANTIS LD HQ by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's log 7: After a successful mission that planted MANTIS™ MTD© devices in Octan water extraction plants, I headed to a newly-built HQ where I would be able to send out an encrypted key that would give us the locations of the MTD© devices so that we can quickly locate Octan's facilities and carry out other necessary missions. After sending the correct encrypted signal from the computer, the MTD© devices popped up on MANTIS™ servers for only half a second before they disappeared (of course the locations were saved). After several hours of analyzing the data and other maps, we found out Octan likely had several extraction facilities that were concentrated around larger volcanos and exporting stations nearby. What was also interesting were "paths" that seemed to form river-like structures. Eventually it was confirmed that these paths were indeed rivers that ran underground. What was even more interesting was that it seemed that Octan was unaware of this river system. After a bit of debriefing, I and another Special Forces operative were ready for our next mission. Now that Octan has its entire water extraction program mapped, all that is needed is....oh wait, someone might be reading this. We have already sent Isaac Northwest from here, so you two will be going Southeast. Yes, we suspected that there would be an underwater river system, and this data from the MTD© devices that got carried away by the currents confirms it. Thankfully MANTIS™ built this HQ overtop of the suspected river system - now we can access almost any Octan water extraction facility we want. Yup, and we are now installing security systems that will be better than Octan's systems. You ready for this? Oh definitely! You first! Already on it ~ DD out ------------------------------------------------------------- More pictures of the HQ (with the working cranes that open up the floor) and the ground underneath it in the spoiler. I always wanted to do a rock cave underneath a building, and here is my first attempt! I started out with the opening floor which was a lot of fun to make. Hope you enjoy!
  17. Location: Unknown....haha! Tags: MANTIS, Tech, Training Facility Double D's log 6: MANTIS Corp. decided that it was necessary to construct a formal training for new and less experienced Special Forces operatives. I was sent to give instructions to some of the new recruits before heading off to my next mission. The color-scheme seemed odd to me until it was explained that it was to give the recruits a more realistic feel because most of them would face battle outside of the corporation's walls. AG: MANTIS Training Facility by David FNJ, on Flickr Alright, let's give this one a go - and focus on your target while being aware of other enemies. I'll watch from the sides. Good work, much better than last time - most of you did not get hit, but you took a long time to hit your targets. "Maybe that's because we don't have nice weapons..." I don't think that's... "The problem. Weapons are not your most valuable tool." Darvage? Is that...I didn't expect you to be here! "That's the way I like it." "Here, hold these for a minute and reset the training hall, but this time add that robot into the mix to be on the enemy's side." "Use your surroundings, and take control of the situation - don't let the situation control you. Firepower and weapons aren't everything. Get good with the junky gear and weapons now, and you'll be a real threat on the battlefield with professional gear. Fail now, and you'll get out of control later. And Double D, the offer to join the Sardonyx Federation is still open - we could really use some men like you." I've got too many things on my plate, especially here with MANTIS. Perhaps another time. "Alright...but if you change your mind, let me know. Farewell, and keep those men in shape. Good luck with your corporate efforts." Thanks. ~ DD out ---------------------------------------------------------------- After building one of the modules, I got pieces to build exactly four more modules and then had a short contest with some family members. The contestants had had to build the module that I had built with the pieces that I provided. It was quite fun! Note: The tie-in with the Sardonyx Federation story is not meant to promote that story or that MOC that the link went to, but it is just a way for us to link our stories because prior to joining Andromeda's Gates, Andrew and I were developing a story with the Sardonyx Federation.
  18. As Second Branch Executive, I welcome you, Joseph Stargazer to glorious M.A.N.T.I.S. 19. No problem, and thanks!
  20. Bob, I checked the timeline and it seems that two credit transfers to LittleJohn were overlooked:
  21. Thanks all for the feedback! Glad you like the black light shots :D @Garmadon: I thought someone would find that humorous
  22. I would like to transfer 73 credits to Ace Jagjit.
  23. Gold tooth is still really expensive because the amount of time to regain those credits with the bonus that it gives is 50 weeks (or 50 builds). Basically, it is spending 500 in-hand credits now for something that won't pay for itself until a whole year has gone by.
  24. Beautiful build! The forced perspective is excellent (especially Quantus III), and the scene as a whole is so nice. That spacecraft is wonderful!
  25. Fabulous underwater laboratory! I really like the dark grey details, and the blue heads look really great here! The glass lookout sections really finish it off with the underwater feel.
