Location: A04 Mynderis - inside a Kawashitan Frigate Tags: MANTIS, spying, military, spaceship interior AG: A New Plan by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's Log 14: When MANTIS left the frigate, Dave Daring went back to see if he could find out more about the other corporation's plans. While inside, the lights got dim and the ship started to jump through several gates. He was no longer in sector D04. Finally, the frigate came to a calm speed, so he assumed that they had arrived at their next destination. He had to get more information. Eventually Dave found the commander whom he chased earlier. He soon discovered that Kawashita had switched targets and that they were now focused on Mynderis. If the commander were driven out of the ship, Dave figured he could follow him and learn the details of their plan. Knowing where the private fighters were located, he figured he could chase the commander out of the ship and back into the gate that they just came from.....if only it will work... Location: A04 - Mynderis Tags: MANTIS, Exploration AG: A New Weapon by David FNJ, on Flickr Double D's Log 9: I have finally left Lesser Drigo (for now), but at least I was able to come back with a friend. I haven't named it yet, but I'll think of something. Right now I'm headed towards a very hot spot of a volcano to see if I can spot ultramafic lava and then harvest some of it to make a new kind of personal weapon... ...a saber that gets its source from the ultramafic lava. I'll have to come up with a name for the saber too... ~DD out -------------------------------------------------------- This was a fun quick build! I like how the rocks came out and the angles they have. The lighting on this one was fun to do - no editing at all, even to get the orange-reddish color. I also experimented with putting some black tiles underneath the lava to give it a small change in color. The spoiler shows normal lighting and close-ups on the rocks and the hovering device that will store the ultramafic lava once Double D finds some.
