Location: E01 - Donwarr Tags: MANITS Double D's log 21: So I had an interesting conversation on the land base MANTIS has on Donwarr.... Don't worry sir, your land vehicle will be ready before you know it! Where is it? Another speeder I hope The mechanic is working on it right here sir! THAT THING?! Um, yes, is there a problem? I spent a whole week driving around supplies last week on the tricycle thingy, and if that wasn't bad enough, it was SUPER SLOW! Now you expect me to drive that box? Well, apparently you're really good at driving around supplies, so once it's ready, you'll drive people's tools, lunches, work gear, etc. around. I don't believe this... Believe it. And hey, don't blame me dude, it was Chief Accountant Long who assigned you the task. I can show you the file. I have it right here... No. But I... No. I'm going to have to repor... No. Sorry man, I have to, you can't stop me from callin... No? ~ DD out ----------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, no time for a land vehicle this week. Oh well, it made for a better story. Yes, the base style is similar to the one I built last week. I'm going to BrickFair NJ this coming week, so I wanted to build something a little larger for it, so these past three MOCs of mine line up together to form a larger display. I've been building one baseplate's worth per week. Thankfully I could still continue the style of the base for this week even though it's on a different planet. I don't know if I'll be doing a fourth module for this yet, so I don't have a shot of them together yet. Hopefully I'll get a shot of all the MANTIS stuff I'll be bringing when I post my next AG build (I have all of them since the snow-speeder MOC, and the Jeep from Sorn Sabotage is still built as well).

Location: B08, Greater Direstan Tags: MANTIS, land vehicle Double D's log 20: After last weeks awesome speeder driving, I've now been tasked to drive tools and supplies around the base here. It's a pretty neat vehicle, it can hold lots of tools, pull quite a bit of weight, and even the front tire folds up so it can hang on a rack when we're done using it. Still, it's slow, and kinda boring to drive. Guess I shouldn't have said how much fun driving is and instead have specified I like driving fast vehicles!

Location: B08 Greater Direstan Tags: MANTIS, land vehicle Double D's log 19: Well, the MANTIS strategy discussion on the orbital Space Station 001 was a ton of fun, but now I'm back to speeder testing. The one I'm testing this week is so shiny and sleek. Can't wait to give it a spin! The plains on Greater Direstan are perfect for zooming around just in case the speeders are hard to control. -------------------------------------- Yup! Another speeder! I love making these things. Enjoy!

Tags: MANTIS Location: D10 Hamliton Belt Double D's Log 18: I'm headed for a huge MANTIS space HQ, Station 001. Large battleships can dock next to it, and some ships can even fit in the top dock where a new dome creates a breathable atmosphere. Looks impressive. Though since I've come to discuss MANTIS strategy, I hope the security in the place is as impressive as its size, or better. ---------------------------------- Had a fun time with GIMP this week!
