  1. They came. And they plundered. It was a massacre. How could they have known...? They came from the shadows at night and preyed on us like vultures. They knew we were carrying the grandest amount of treasure the world had ever seen. And that we were heavily armed too. But that didn't stop those vultures from attacking us. We were taken by surprise. But how could that be? Each vessel in our fleet had specially appointed guards. And their orders were specific. Shoot first, ask questions later. But even these elite squads weren't able to protect us. Splinters everywhere. Blood. Screams and roaring cannons. It was too much for me. I was so young. This was merely my second trip as an appointed captain of a relatively insignificant cargo ship in our fleet. It was too much for me... I hope my family forgives me. I hope the world forgives me... (sound of a pistol shooting inside the captain's cabin) Bonus pic. Good vs Evil
  2. Well... EVERYBODY and their mothers know that cocoa with milk was invented by the famous Oleander chef Laitous Laitouise. Also everybody knows that an owner welcoming guests with a knife on his hand is not quite a welcoming sight! Joking aside, This is a very nice build. The thing i always like about your mocs is that they are always tightly populated with minifigs that are never identical. So i love checking the various torso-legs combinations each time one is presented.
  3. Yeap, another great ship for Oleon! It feels so naturally beautiful... More photos please!!! And keep up the good work Duke!!!
  4. Excellent dynamic of the fight and minifig posing is seriously great!!! You captured the mayhem of the fight really well. Although i would prefer some less blurry photos
  5. We built this city No need to say more!!!!!
  6. Island #3 ('The Old Man's Beard'): Stéphanique Island #7 ('The Island of Clay'): Île Sous le Vent Island #23 ('The Crown'): La Couronne
  7. What a charming colonial house! And with a lovely interior as well! Nice one Faladrin!
  8. You are churning out ships!!! And i love them all!!! Woohooooo!!!
  9. These. Ships. Are. Amazing!!! Especially color-wise! And all that photos and action!! Loved every part of this entry!
  10. Nice MOC and accompanying story! Also Micah's fiance's torso and dress is sooo fitting and era appropriate But why hand Philippe to the Eslandolan authorities?
  11. A fine elegant ship! GJ Legostone!
  12. A nice bustling corner of the city! I always love it when cities grow in brick form while BoBS time goes by
  13. Very nice intro and an interesting story to unfold here! I, too, had my reservations about your use of real-life names but now it definitely merges better with the BoBS universe! Happy building and happy narrations!
  14. Naaah, no monkeys this time although at some point i WAS thinking of putting more (insert all) animals outside of the house and make a little quiz about which one was secret-teller!
  15. Thanks for your comments guys! The idea was stuck on my head from the start of this challenge and all i was thinking was the order of the mini-mocs i needed to tell the story. The main attraction was indeed the exterior of the house with the two neighbors gossiping while the rest are merely there to progress the story (although admittedly i could have given them some more love). Finally, regarding the challenge restrictions, if you stuck those mini-mocs together (house interior behind exterior, tree in front and the sea rock next to it, you have about 3/4 of a 32x32 baseplate, in a semi-logical way. Anyway, thanks for watching!
  16. The beast has arrived! Nice design (unlike what KB says), nice colors and once again these strings with handles work very well as actual (ratlines?)
  17. He he he, so many choices, so much fun to choose!!! Nice build ☺
  18. Nice irregular technique at the building and nice take on landscaping as well. I would have left the roof either black or blue myself though as it now feels like you got short on blue tiles Welcome at eurobricks and keep building!
  19. Nice tower and even nicer landscaping!
  20. Sleek is the word that comes to mind upon seeing this ship! Colors are fitting and so are all those details that make it stand out. Ofc those purple feather pieces help indeed! Hell, even the night sky background helps her shine! Totally subjective nitpicking would be the main mast coloring as i would prefer black and white to mix a bit more (not starting white then going black that is, rather than mixing them a bit) and the bow to be a bit less sharp. But all in all another fine example of your ship-building capabilities!!! She surely looks super-fast and fully deserves her "whatever number-F" designation.
