[COR Jul FB1] Return to Civilisation
blackdeathgr replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Really nice build Ayrlego! I am not completely sold on the reddish brown terrain though as (always in my opinion) it attracts the eye away from the marvelous building and foliage and lacks the detail you have put basically everywhere else. In any case, good luck on the Summer Joust and make our BoBS community proud !!! -
[COR WTC] WTC Trading Outpost in Kemblarsi

Love that ships and that buildings!!! Regarding the landscaping, I would have added some more foliage such as trees or bushes. Nevertheless I really like it! -
[OL-Ch2] Incompetent Adventurers!
blackdeathgr replied to Capn Frank's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I had some great laughs reading about that band of "misfits" and as Elo said, the last picture is my favorite too. Great placing those building at an angle Phred! P.S: That school reminds me of some Russian churches. I might try something similar whenever I got the time. Thanks for the inspiration! -
Great moc, especially the church.

Excellent video! Jones is a hardy pioneer. He will serve you well! Edit: I really like the updated version of Tom "Juggernaut" Jones

Wow!What a reading! You were escalating it gradually till the big finale! And of course accompanied with a nice moc. The Cape as other said, contributed much and for some reason I really like the part where his deputy is waiting at the cave entrance.

[SR-FB] The Rosa Lee (WIP)
blackdeathgr replied to RocketSeason's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I really like how the story evolves around your ship moc -
Great work so far. Brick building those curves is of tremendous difficulty. Also nice work on those cannons and lanterns! My only fairly insignificant remark is that in my opinion, the cannon at the upper deck sticks out a bit too much (if you leave it like this that is) but I don't know if that is realistic or not. Keep up the great work and keep us entertained!

Did you charged your mysterious buyer for his pocket money? Building-wise this is my favorite sized ship (mainly for the relative low number of bricks involved). Great shrouds and shape too Bodi!

Poppies are nice but that stream and the cliff above is outstanding (plus it was about time someone build a cliff with soil rather than rocks ) -
What a great build! You put a lot of effort in it and one can easily see that. Still laughing about that mountain dwelling tribe of hard working midgets! !!

Really well built with an interesting writing (as usual). Your photography level is great too. If I had to change something, it would be the top of the furnace with it's studded surface as opposed to the tiled surfaces (roofing) of the other buildings.

Great story (once again) and a nice way to purify evil as others said. Building-wise I too like the hanging heads and above all the cartoon-like idol (these eyes totally do the trick)!

[SR - Era II - Challenge 2 - CatB] Jungle Grave
blackdeathgr replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
This is a spooky story worthy of our challenge! As previously mentioned, statues are nice and so is the foliage and the depiction of the dead. Skulls on poles are also fitting and so are the flowers used as decor!
