  1. Not so far but that uncertain status isn't exactly a settler/builder-magnet
  2. I am thoroughly impressed both by the idea and the implementation! Thanks for bringing all our sigfigs together!
  3. Nice and colorful! I also like the exceptional integration of rocks by the walls. But what about the environmental pollution at the back of the building? Do I see colors down the drain???
  4. Capt G, that is a "nice" execution! I also enjoyed the crowd watching. I am not overly sold on the roof style though (the black one) but all in all this is a lovingly crafted moc! Oh, and tiling makes that moc shine even more ;-)
  5. The port is very well built but the ship...oh that ship!!! Eagerly waiting for the next parts
  6. The moc is great, the various equipment are great too and so is the story. But what I liked the most, was the ceremony that enriches the faith subject in BoBS. In times of old (and sometimes even today), a rooster was also slain and drained over the cornerstone or at the foundations, for the building to stay solid.
  7. Your mocs have always something innovative to contribute. Adding your spot on photos to that and we have a beautiful duo of story+build! I especially enjoyed the target manequin and the idea of the chain blocking the port
  8. I really enjoyed the story and I find that schooner extremely well built!
  9. Thanks Cpt Genaro for posting it and thank you esteemed bobs-ers for commenting a rather plain and dull moc. It was one of my first in ldd and I wanted to time the irregular placing of the various stuff on the ground. Since no section is copy-paste, it took me a long time to finish. Needless to say, I kept that ground to be used as a pattern in future mocs. The flag is ofc a design used throughout many previous mocs of great mocers but I really liked it so I replicated it. @Drunknok You are to be immediately posted on a 12 hour guard duty so as to be punished for your mocking my wonderful and elaborate moc!!! Oh, and minis in LDD? You know how I passionately hate placing them. I vastly prefer the real minis :-)
  10. A really fine and amusing story although... Couldn't express myself better!
  11. A very nice vessel! I especially like the stern (especially the non-protruding captain's cabin; a fairly lifelike feature), the sails and the colors
  12. Nice and inventive way of using the minifig boat
  13. Interesting little ship If I were you, I would refine the mast and the figurehead (both are indeed too big for a ship of this size)
  14. GREAT MOC with tons of details! I am also glad that you and your boy built it together!
  15. Sadly, I believe the same
  16. nice snot and excellent "3d" clouds!!!
  17. They remind me of the clasic era which is always a good move ;-)
  18. Nice ship with nice rigging. If I were you, I would have made the main mast mixed in color (mixed brown with yellow) instead of lower part brown-higher part yellow (yeah, I am nitpicking that much ). I definitely love the shape and general colors though!!
  19. I like it and lavender is a nice touch (and I am also trying to imitate Ayrlego at times, totally unsuccessfully though )
  20. Very nice room and an excellent candlestick above all! Oh, I liked the white door frame too btw (and as always the torso choices are perfect)
  21. Hahahahahahaha! That "wind" surfer thing is so grooooovy!
  22. This story gives me tons of fun here (aside from the massacre ofc )!!!
  23. Thanks Bart! Everything looks better with some minifigs and accessories lying around and this is the next step with my LDD involvement. Still not quite that many options for minifig parts etc in LDD but I'll will make do. Thanks Cpt Wolf! Hm, I'll check this out as well. Thanks! But for the white surfaces on the sides . Thanks though! Thanks LM! Vines are a good idea to break the white monotony! Basically I also thought about using lbg but then I wouldn't have that classic white (and yellow... ) surfaces that I got to love at those classic bluecoat sets from the 90's ! Regarding resolution, I used 1280x720 and it took me 1 min and 52 secs for that build so I will surely try it at higher levels. Point is that if you don't like the moc positioning, you have to do it all over and wait for the rendering process once more. Ah, well, the joys of Blue Render I guess
  24. However small, this is one of your best builds! Great curtains and accessories all over!
