Looking for plans or details of "mid-sized" ships.
blackdeathgr replied to Lasivian's topic in LEGO Pirates
For inspiration etc, check this one. I believe the size is about the size you want. -
10210 Imperial Flagship has a nice cabin but so does the latest pirate ship 70413 The Brick Bounty. Other than that, the rest have some cute details but not nearly enough as those two I've mentioned before. HOWEVER if by ship you mean ninjago ships as well, then I believe we have a winner with 70618 Destiny's Bounty as far as the interior in general is considered (cabin and interior space). I believe the general rule these days is that the newer the ship is, the more detailed cabin it has.

[OL - FB] A Chance Encounter Pt 1
blackdeathgr replied to merc's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Proud father of a 4th months old little pirate here and I totally feel you!!! Nice story and builds. I especially like the wall and the wooden decor on the first build and the furniture at the second! -
Not bad at all! Both versions look nice.

What a nice story and great, colorful moc! I really like it and I believe the rendering makes it shine! Also the canoe is well built!

A brothel to search for clues? Why not!! WoW! This is great! The build is beautiful and solid and the raised baseplate looks absolutely fantastic (mind that I am coveting that baseplate for quite some time but the prices and the shipping costs due to its size are forbidding). I also like the greenery used as background as it brings this MOC to a higher level! Keep up the good work and good luck at the Challenge!

You chose to build a tavern on that beach full of history and positive feelings thus destroying a landmark and historical place?!?!?!?!?! -
[COR-FB] Fort Totie in Jameston
blackdeathgr replied to Spud The Viking's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Aw what a cute little toy fort! Seriously now I really like it as it is and I also like the fact that this is bustling with life. In my searches and tries for sloped forts (Vauban style), I have observed that these parts when placed at an angle, they completely match each other, leaving no gaps (when except underneath them which you can easily cover them with an 1xX plate or greenery (here for example - of course you can find way better examples browsing here or in flickr) -
This is a great shore (way better than my tries), great drink trolley indeed and an excellent story as well to justify the lumberjacks working close to thew shore (thanks for including my sigfig btw!! ). But the best part is obviously the sport ca... vessel and its ever-smiling owner!!

Great merchant ship Bregir! I like how you have incorporated the cabin
