[MOC] El Puerto de Cartagena (Anno 1585)
blackdeathgr replied to Stoertebricker's topic in Pirate MOCs
I believe itt would be too much for your build as it is colorful already but it is a nice idea for one of your next mocs nevertheless -
[COR-ChIV-Micro Prize] Class 3 Cog Northern Merchant
blackdeathgr replied to Brickwolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
A cog it is! -
I kind of really like this experiment with the Viking hull! Stern works well and so does the bow and everything else really! Good try!

[COR-FB] Sheep Shearing School, Wullham
blackdeathgr replied to evancelt's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Sadly no PaB or BnP here . Oh well, at least I've got 2 goats to show off! I, too, believe that a flock might appear sooner than later. -
[COR-FB] Sheep Shearing School, Wullham
blackdeathgr replied to evancelt's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Sheep! Sheep! Sheep! Sheep! Times 16! Is all I can say for now. I got myself 5 and I thought I overdid it! Really nice moc, excellent shed an photography showing the various steps of wool acquiring! -
Wow, this is easily your best build yet (until you outperform yourself - something I am sure you will surely do once more! )

Nice one! As others wrote, I like the water (horns are an awesome idea) and the whole path that crosses the water and up to the tower.

[COR - FB] ETTC Headquarters, Westface
blackdeathgr replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
As Garmadon wrote, tan with lbg blends really well. I must add that black found it's place in the world too as it complements the other two colors really good! -

Layering! Fashion solving the problem of living in rainy countries I presume, as one's head can never actually end up wet (thus catching cold etc etc)! -

I believe you aren't familiar with the new trend of dyeing hair in Corrish ports! -
Nice interpretation of an awful set! Mid-sized ships are the best!!!

[OL - FactionFlavours] Love is in the air
blackdeathgr replied to Fraunces's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Needn't say more brother!!!!! Love and classic feel is definitely in the air tonight! Excellent build, colorful and nothing can go wrong with so many minifigs!!! I love it! -
[OL - CHIV - micro prize] Courthouse - Medium Property
blackdeathgr replied to KotZ's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
The building itself can easily pose as another Architecture line set. Stern and imposing as a court should be. But the guillotine is otherworldly beautiful and excellently built!!!!!! Easily one of my favorite micro-build features!!! -
[SR Ch IV Micro prize] Class 4 Xebec Levant
blackdeathgr replied to Professor Thaum's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Woohoooo! Swift as she goes brothers! Nice microship, with nice details! Oars are nice but I like the stern the most (and ofc the masts/sails combo)! -
[COR - FB] Unloading Stores, Brickford Landing
blackdeathgr replied to Ayrlego's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Although it hurt my eyes initially (maybe it's the laptop screen I am using), yellow is a nice, more Caribbean change of colors in BoBS buildings pallet. As Kai wrote, it blends with nougat perfectly. And ofc when the Ayrlego trademark style is present, everything else can go down the drain!!! Great as usual that is! -

blackdeathgr replied to LM71Blackbird's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Nice building, suitably manned! I also love that those sacks are everywhere. I really love that piece!!! I also like the small overhang of the first floor and the 45 degrees "twisted and turned" reddish brown columns. -
[OL - Faction Flavours] To Our Fallen Brothers!
blackdeathgr replied to CapOnBOBS's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
What a colorful room! With all the decoration and the minifig it is really pleasing to the eye! Excellent write up too! "A toast to the brave 1st Grenadiers!" said Hugo D' Offren while raising a cup of fine wine straight from Old World. Then he thought of everything red in the world and furiously clenched his hand... -
Interesting minifig part choices and hilarious descriptions. What more to ask?!?!? Mossi di Tacci and Hippocles are my favorites!!!

Kings Port Advertiser and Ship List (Vol. 6, Issue 2)
blackdeathgr replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Finally some more nonsensical corish yellow press really credible news! Great write up as usual (thoroughly enjoying KPA each and every time it gets posted) and so glad we have returned in normality!!! IC now... Don't you just love buffer states?? I believe spies don't count as "forces", rather than "concerned" citizens, right? "Meh...weaklings..." murmured D'Offren while reading KPA and having tossed a cup of corrish tea directly inside his fireplace...
