  1. If I understood Your idea, it woult llok just awfull. Lego also doesn't have such a long rubberbands. Now You know, that this is not good idea, yes, looks good, but doesnt work, at least for front. That swingarm is just too elastic sideways. Also, if the play in steering would be lees, then it would help. But this is lego. Maybe some caster angle would help? Need to think about that. In fact it is there, but negative. Maybe that also makes everything worse.
  2. As I wrote, this is first iteration. But there is problem with front wheels, because they try to go each on both sides, it is not drivable, just stands nicely. When it turns, then it goes better in fact. It has issues driving straight.
  3. Done :) ... first iteration. I don't know if I will continue with this setup, as front wheels bottom part goes soemhow away from center, also then wheels go on each side. It is not playable. So that is not good model ... I'm afraid, I should build something else.
  4. No so bad with those arms, pretty elastic. Seems, that this won't look so futuristic, it will look more like some formula, as for double wishbone setup the paneling is much harder, there is not so much space left.
  5. Not so nice weather outside, and also idea came already yesterday. In fact, that some development of one old MOC. Now I wnated to make more functional. In fact, main upgrade and function will be steering. The name will be >=< First mocups. There is also suspension integrated. That is another function. My old original inspirational idea
  6. @Jim What about those old type narrow tyres https://rebrickable.com/parts/56898/tyre-432-x-14-offset-tread/ ?
  7. Put pictures on bricksafe.com., brickshelf.com or on other nospecified lego pictures servers, then copy link, it will embed automatically.
  8. At least some pictures would be appreciated.
  9. It is OK, I think. Doesn't really sbrick fit behind the cabin, where now battery and IR receiver lives? I don't have it, but from pictures it doesn't seems really large.
  10. Truly amazing. This could be first instructions I could buy for some MOC. But need to wait for some vacations.
  11. For American truck that big cab is a must, I think. Now just really add that buwizz and some fake engine. Everything else looks pretty OK. ... and then start to think about some suspension.
  12. Really nice car. Like the looks really. About that steering. God knows, how much variations of it was before. I've built it in 2015, without knowing, that there was something before. Then I found out, that @MaxSupercars did even some time before. It seems for, that there is just no better possible principle of creating it at this scale.
  13. Nice little creation. Just think about minimizing that HOG steering knob.
  14. Interesting solutions, but where and how shock absorbers will connect?
  15. Somohow (for now) gave up to create rear with similar geometry, so built more classic rear suspension First try (fool me) wasn't succsessfull, as originally those motors spin the same direction, so car doesn't drive anywhere with default app for 42099. After some two hours I have this And then I somehow built this
  16. better would be to use 11L beams for that front part, where swingarms are attached, then at the same width of the car more proper steering and hub section could be possible. Also some axles with stop would be better to connect swingarms to chassis, as in picture it is possible to see, that one swingarm is already popped out. Those two 12T gear connection for steering is also not the best solution. If possible, try o remove it. And is steering really working in cabin, as in underside picture it looks like that U-joint is in 90' angle.
  17. I read it now, and now in understand how it sounds. Second sentence was about older/smaller wormgear, about which @ukbajadave asked.
  18. Also picture of what You have now would help. LDD (I don't know if there is that rack) or Stud.io file would be even better.
  19. It works with that new larger wormgear. For this some half stud distance will be needed, most porbably. But You know that already. Maybe You can try to put that wormgoear somewhere else, and that drives some gear, which then drives that 12T gear.
  20. Then in both cases red shock absrobers would fit better.
  21. Looks good, pretty minimalistic. Ypu definately need to do something about front hubs. Best would be to use Lego original ones. If You don't have them, then try to minimise distance between turning point and wheel. Can You add some close-up picture of that hub, maybe communitu may help.
  22. Just some small details, which are really hard to find (I counted some 3 changes)
