  1. I have this set 42009 unopened and I'm thinking to build MrTekneexs' great looking C-model Flatbed Tow Truck from it... Maybe that is right decision because I have my doubts too towards the original A-model...
  2. Thanks BusterHaus! Yes, I wanted to build few weeks some kind of boat... I dreamed something like Miss Geico -style offshore powerboat but it seems to be too difficult to me build at this moment but maybe some day... She sure is a beauty or what you think: But I'm pleased with this boat now, until the next boat project Thanks Chade! Yeah, now it's much better without those stucked tires in the sides Thanks Saberwing40k! It was not only parts from 42000, but almost. I guess little over 90 % of the parts are indeed from 42000, few stickers, some beams, rims/wheels in air intake, radar wing and couple of parts inside the hull are some random loose parts.
  3. Yes, I think I change my middle name to "Solution" I removed the tires and made this instead: I think it's way better now
  4. Thanks Zblj! Yeah those wheels were "the last second" try to block thumb size holes on the side of the boat. They are just stucked between panels so they can be removed in 2 seconds Edit: It is quite a big empty space between those panels... Those wheels were my only answer to cover it: Maybe I can figure something else there... We'll see
  5. Hi there again This time I made my version of Pro Stock Flatbottom Race Boat. Real ones look like this: My creation is as follows... Overall looks: Side view: Back view: Bottom view: It has piston working (when turning propeller) V8-engine: It has customized air intake, fuel line and behind the seat gas tank: Unique design tilt racing wheel: Removable "legs" for display use: Thank you for watching! Feel free to comment
  6. And there will be more, I'm pretty sure Also stay tuned I might have new MOC in near future
  7. Jaw dropping beautiful All that chrome, all the looks, all the details, interior, exterior, I'm in love with that masterpiece Great, great work
  8. I started as AFOL just little over year ago and bought my first ever Technic Lego set 42030... Since then my Technic Lego collection has grown also a little bit: 8043 8262 9390 9395 9396 2 x 42000 42002 42007 42009 42021 42025 2 x 42028 3 x 42029 42030 42032 2 x 42036 42037 2 x 42039 42042 + some extra parts from Bricklink So not as impressive as your list Richard but I have spent maybe all my "loose" money to Legos (2-2.5k euros) but it has been all worth it and I not gonna stop now, no way I would have decent amount of parts to build MOCs but I don't want to disassemble those sets that I have built They are so nice to display
  9. Or maybe even build a C or D model from the set 42039? I am myself considering to build one or maybe both of those awesome dokludis' alternative models of this set (The Beast and Winter Killer). But all in all, this was quite nice thread to create interesting discussion
  10. Silly me, of course they are, I was just blind Now that I get it, it looks yet so much cooler still
  11. Hey this looks pretty awesome, nice work! Everything is packed so compact and neat and bodywork is clean and beautiful Very well done, my friend, very well
  12. Oh my God this looks so awesome Twin V8 motors make it look so mean hotrod and I just love it Maybe I'll build it some day, it would be so nice, so nice display model and sure why not a model to play and have fun with
  13. Thank you for the feedback, it is always important to have others opinion too I personally don't like those holes in the frame without paneling because my goal was make it something like the original Stealth Bomber... That's why I went paneling it but you are kind of right, now it looks maybe too "fat bellied"... My original plan was cover the frame with this kind of panels but I don't have them enough (and right sizes) to do it... Maybe I will order some of them in different sizes from Bricklink and re-panel the frame...
  14. Really nice work I just love the looks and those offroad capabilities are amazing Nice rock crawling video
  15. Yes it really don't matter are you fast or slow builder when you enjoy building Technic. I am myself a quite slow builder but i am enjoying every second so I enjoy longer time when I build slow And when building a MOC time is quite irrelevant factor because the feeling when you succeed to do something your own without instructions is the best feeling that you can get with Technic Legos
  16. Thanks Chade! It was just pure fun to build this thingy I think I reached the meaning of Technic Lego building finally... It's that you can try to build whatever is in your imagination and don't fear what is the end result, just have fun when you are building
  17. I think cardboard box is rather good background for technic photography:
  18. Thanks I made little bit updating for the frame with black panels and I think it looks better now: I think more covered look is more stealthier
  19. This is just a one night MOC for the fun It was inspired and loosely based of this: Overall look: Other side, it has working pedals, kickstand and it's fully suspensioned: Removable battery unit: It has front lights, warning lights on handle bar, brake levers, brake light and power cord with signal lights: Thank you for watching Comments and critics are most welcome as always
  20. I am seriously considering to take part to this contest... I have unopened set 42009 and a plan to do something quite different than the original A model (maybe with some other parts too, not only from this set)... One question for the entry post, how many photos can we post this time? Same ten as in TC7 or more/less? This feels very exciting and challenging contest
  21. Excellent! You are a genious and master builder Maybe coolest Lego video ever and all those models are so real looking that I am still not beliving my eyes I dont have enough words to describe how much I like them, perfect job
  22. Congrats for the winners, amazing job! And well done fellow Enforcers, we took a overall win in this conflict Very nice job from all contestants, creative and innovative builds, hand claps to all us Again thanks Jim for great organised contest, and thank you all who voted me This was just pure fun to build and participate in this contest We all are winners!
  23. I don't have a really good digital camera but I like that tip to shoot outdoor photos very much... This photo I am kind of pleased... I think I will shoot lot more Technic Lego photos outdoor in the future
  24. I like paneling and looks very much It's now more updated and modern looking Nice front suspension and exhaust/muffler Maybe you can add footrests and pedals to it? And I think two mufflers would be maybe even better looking... All and all really good job! Edit: Meaning with two mufflers something like this
  25. Nice job I like very much that suspension, and transmission is so clever, simple and effective, just genius And that body looks cool too
