Howdy! I bought technic set 42037 and thought what to do with it... A model looked little bit like tractor and B model looked plain awful. And I had painful need to build a buggy, so said and done. Few "junkyard" loose parts + modding and there she is: a rear engined desert buggy. The chassis is little streched and modded, nearly same as A model chassis but engine is in between rear suspension inline four cylinder. Hand of God steering is now controlled at front of the car. Rear suspension is little bit modded to give extra room for engine, which pistons are working, of course. Paneling went a little ghetto style because rear end is red (lacking of other color extra panels/beams). Driver seat is much more towards front end. More little details and close ups -------> Opening roll cage for easy access to driver seat: Hand Of God: Rear suspension mod: Engine in between rear suspension and some carburetor styling: Spare tire, exhausts and radiator: I tried to think out of the box and create something different. Comments and critics are most welcome. And of course improvment tips also PS. This is not a C model because there are lots of extra parts used (some of original parts unused).

Dont you just love this guy and his creations! I just bought second 42000 only for his Street Rod C-model and this new one is something what I desperately want. He is genious. Take my money :)

Triplepost but I bought third one of this set and this time it was yoshinydesign's jeep that I build. http://yoshinydesign...jeep-i-use.html I think it's quite nice mod: I did little own mods for it... V6 intake mod: Tilting window (like in those army Jeeps) and tiny headlight mod: Side exhaust: Spare tire: So I have already 3 sets of this 42029; one for part donor and two mods to display... Maybe some other set next time Finally, two different same brothers: PS. Thanks to Yoshiny for his great C model

Wow, I really like this one Neat little beast with excellent working functions. Good luck for the contest, you should win -
I don't want to start new topic for this... In set 42032 I think the bucket/shovel thing is little weird looking (because of that cover thingy) and I also needed that front shovel for 8043 excavator so I made little mod and quite a huge snowplate for it for winter works: Now it's a one trick horse with up/down moving plate...

This one time more... Now it's ready to me. Now there is finally that red piece on the sidepanel and the mirrors are more aerodynamic. I think my job is done with this mod, now I only enjoy it and display it:

I thought all the time that I do only the B model but I'm glad that I changed my mind and made the A model. It's huge and awesome. I really like it and design is just fine for me. Only thing that bothered me was the ugliest headlights in the world. I tried to make better ones but had only limited resources of spare parts and this was only alternative that I managed to do: What you think of them?

Hello! I had never build Technic Legos in my life before (only normal legos when I was child) and I'm already 42... But half year ago "I loose my head" for Technic Legos and the set was 42030. Now I have that plus 42000 (and second one coming by post), 42025, 9396 (not build yet), 42028 (actually two but second one for parts), two 42036's, 42029 only for part donor, 42009 (not build yet), 8043 (not build yet), 42031, 42039 (not build yet) and 42032 + 42002 coming by post (for modding and for parts). Plus 42007 and some parts coming from Bricklink. Some may say it's only plastic but I love it

You mean like this? Gauges are from hovercraft. Also maked levers and saddle. I took side panels from second 42036 and made it look like this: I ordered some parts and will change that ugly grey connector at side panels to red one. Also not 100 % satisfied my headlight area customisation and will try to make it better. Wind shield is also modified because gauges needed more room. Edit: I placed the original red "nose cone" back and it immediately looked better: I hate the gap between two blue front panels but I think I must live with it.

I customised little bit b-model with parts that I found at home: Headlights, taillights, signlights, mirrors and handlebars. Also get rid of those light blue panels and replaced them with larger red ones. Edit: I remaked saddle/taillights combination because first one was ugly: Think it´s better now... Edit2: Now I think I nailed it... Flattened tank line looks much better:
