The 7th and final section of my Nordheim collab with Isaac. You can see the others here: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th. This module especially was a collab effort, with Isaac doing a lot of the rockwork, while I built interiors, and some of the windows/entrances into the mountain. Creating a dwarven look was quite fun, and allowed for some interesting parts use. All the doors open and close, including a sliding door that serves as the entrance to the treasury. Fjall mountain houses a large house of dwarves that keep busy mining new metals and refining their smithing techniques. They have several trained dragons which serve as a scout force. Their rumored wealth is a matter of some debate among the Nordheim townfolk, as none have actually entered the secret treasury. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt The full layout will be revealed sometime next week. As always, C&C is very welcome

Absolutely gorgeous build, dG! The overall layout of the buildings is superb, and all the colors come together nicely Great use of those new ornamental fence pieces on the sand green and white building, they work wonderfully here. I do think the cobblestone would look a little better if there weren't any hollow studs showing, and there seems to be a section in the back corner that wasn't finished, but those are fairly minor nit-picks. Overall, another excellent build!

Noriach, summer palace of House Chorian
LittleJohn replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
Jaw-dropping work here, Ecc! The main wooden building is my favorite, with the roof layout and various patterns in the woodwork The rest of the buildings are fantastic as well, the dark red fits in nicely with the other colors. The trees, rockwork, stone texturing, stairs, and waterfall are all top-notch too -
Great little build Titus. The border design looks very nice, and I like the bits of rock

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion
LittleJohn replied to Rogue Angel's topic in Guilds of Historica
Yes, those Rogues look amazing I'm a bit disappointed with the Arabian Knight, but at least he comes with a new colored turban. -
Excellent build, MKJ! The stone foundation of the building was a nice touch, and I really like the red shields on the wall Superb landscaping as well, the olive green grass looks great

Thank you for the suggestions, Henjin! I purposefully left some studs exposed on the gables, so as to fit with the overall style of the rest of the building, though capping them with snow is a very good idea Thanks for the suggestion on the tower colors as well, I'll keep that in mind for next time Thanks Windusky Thanks dathil! The roof on the well was one of my favorite parts too; we'll be putting a tutorial of how to do it on Brickbuilt after Brickfair Virgina Thank you! Thank you, BrickCurve! I really like how the cobblestone looks too

The 5th module of my collab with Isaac is up: -
The 5th module of my large collab with Isaac, for BrickFair Virginia 2016. See the others: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. The Nordheim Armory supplies the Nordheim Watch with their weapons and armor, in addition to storing to storing many of the weapons for the bustling city, in case of attack. It also houses a small forge area outside, where the weapons are made. Lots more pictures on Brickbuilt Thanks for looking, C&C appreciated

That looks amazing! Thanks a lot!

I believe he's talking about this part. @BC: I haven't tried that myself, but it sounds like a really cool technique! -

I'd really like a drawing of my sig-fig if you're interested, here's a picture of him: He has this feather in white too, but it blends in with the white background. Thank you!

The Exetrius Saga (7): Taking the Runestone
LittleJohn replied to Exetrius's topic in Guilds of Historica
Nice little vig, Exetrius! The forced perspective turned out great, and I like the bits of snow on the rocks, though since this is the top of a mountain it might have made since for it to be completely snow-covered -
Thanks, glad you like it

Thank you!
