  1. Lovely creation Shaggie. Looks straight out of the Austrian Alps. This could easily be a winter village release or creator set
  2. Great little train station you've created Sparvhjerta. It would fit perfectly into a winter village. Good luck
  3. The 2 bay station is on a 48x48 baseplate. I have a 3 bay and 4 station also. They are 64 studs wide x 48 deep. As long as you stick to the standard modular spacing for the pavement and technic conector bricks its easy to place side by side standard modulars. Here is link to pic of ground floor of 3 bay. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5423337
  4. Hi Naptown11 The big plate was used for both, ie to get the width for 2 bays and the length to accommodate city sized fire engines. Here is a link to more photos http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=500214
  5. Hi mrfuture! As what dr_spock says, the web site is run by JopieK, the person who posted before your post. You can also Click on his banner and it will take you to his site.
  6. Hi. I really like your groups layout. Especially like your MOD of the Town Hall.
  7. And they could re-use the mold of the Haz Mat guy from series 4 collectable minifigures if they still have it to differentiate from the day to day firefighter kit.
  8. Brick City Depot has alternative builds for Fire Brigade, Grand Emporium, palace Cinema and Town Hall
  9. Not much has been said about the minifigs in this set. Not that Im complaining or anything, I thought there might have been a worker in the Laundromat, a Dot Cotton type of worker? So I guess its just a self service place or are we to assume it is the parent of the little girl who wins a prize at the Bank, who is the Laundromat worker?
  10. Nice rundown of what has been seen. 60110 The Fire Station is like a mash up of both 60004 & 7208. Will get the new station mainly for the new Aerial platform. 60111 Like you I did wonder why a platform on the trailer but then again it is a kids toy so plenty play ability but at long last a special eqpt type vehicle. 60112 looking at the photo's, to make this look more like a tiler truck I'd swap the positions of the hose reel and the locker, then move the turntable and ladder to above where the king pin/5th wheel are and move the yellow barriers to above the rear wheel. And at long last a yellow fire helmet, albeit not in the city theme.
  11. I feel that IMO, the only thing missing from this set is a Bank money transfer Van, so would like to see one as a give away, like the flower cart polybag was linked to the DO, but in the same vane as the Xmas give away from 2013, the Christmas Tree Truck (40083) so more a box than a poly with a money transfer minifig!
  12. Ok LegoSjaak, your next photoshop mission, should you wish to accept is! Are you able to photoshop the DO onto the Laundromat side of BB?
  13. Would also make a good Post Office
  14. Yip LegoSjaak, youve just created a boom time for Bricklink stores from the New Year. The store owners will be those seen leaving the Lego shops on 1st January, with multiple copies of this set to Part out!
  15. Yeh thats what I was looking for. Cheers
  16. Can you make an image of this width with one extra upper floor?
  17. First impression's are better for this than I had for the DO. I'm really liking the look of this release going by the art work. This design could quite easily been used for an Police Station, New York style IMO. Might get 2 of these to add another floor level. I also like a the blonde hair piece on the female bank worker. Reminds me of Sanne who worked on and chaperoned the 2014 Inside tour. Wonder if one of the crafty parts designers lik Gitte modelled the hair piece on her?
  18. Over in the Town Forum, Gongoro73 posted yesterday that he read on the Brickon FB that there will be no new sets revealed at this years event!
  19. Thats what I thought when I first saw it, but on closer inspection it has some differences to the one in 60097, ie different windscreen, no mirrors, no spoiler on the back, light bley wheels and vents down the bonnet/hood. I can just make out the number plate as being BD 16353 or similar. The car is also seen leaving the City limits at the very start of the video.
  20. Would have personally preffered the modular to be released on Jan 1st, so as to give time to save up for July release of GBHQ
  21. Was looking forward to this being released in January even tho there has been no pictures of it, but a July release makes sense to coincide with the Films release. Probably means it'll be a while before photo's of the set are released!
  22. Having read Klaus-Dieter's descriptions again, that Red car at 0.18 could be the one from set 60119 Ferry. And he does say that the 60107 Fire Ladder Truck is very similar to the one from 2013 so thats more than likely the one at 0.18 to.
  23. At 0:18, is that a new car that is being chased by the police as don't recognise it! Police car tho seems to be the one from 60047 Police Station
  24. Jeez your right. When I watched this, I just passed it off as the Ladder Truck from 7208. Now on closer inspection it has a different ladder which is the same as the ladders on the 2013 fire engines. Looks a bit of a hybrid between 7208 & 6002
  25. Oh just watch the sold out signs quickly appearing on shop at home for 21108 Ecto-1
