Nice find. First impression not as good as 60097 however there is a lot I like such as the Hotel, looks like it could easily be expanded, the double deck tourist bus, the snack shack, electric car recharge facility. The Museum is a bit disappointing and why a crane again like in 60026. Finally there is a Police motor bike but can't see a police officer. At first I thought it was the guy all in black doing traffic control in top picture, but in bottom picture I think he is the concierge at the hotel.

Just noticed on the box art that on the front view, it looks like the one of the medical staff has been omitted, as there are 12 minifigs with the set, but the female who is carrying out the eyesight test on the rear view is the only minifig not shown on the front. Don't know if this is an error but she was on the preliminary pics!

At long last a decent City Hospital will plenty play features with Multi department and also the Helicopter and Ambulance too. Yeh the helicopter is a flying doctor and no capacity for patients but set 60179 Ambulance Helicopter will be a good companion for this set. And lastly, there is a good quantity and variety of minifigs to go with a stand alone set. Ha Ha. First look at the picture gives that impression. But if you zoom in, she has actually already given birth as you can see the baby's head with a milk bottle behind the doctors head.

Good to see so many different rooms/depts in the one lego hospital. Loads of a activity going on.

Great Harbour Market creation. Fits in well beside Anton's bait shop. Its full of detail and full of 'life'. -
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see and keep our fingers crossed. Lego World has been a good place for us to view the summer sets in the past and hopefully the will appear on the displays again this year but doubt it due to their understandable stance on not showing off the sets to be photographed and essentially copied.

Its a good thing IMO that the hospital is minifigure heavy. After all they can be busy places. Internally I see: Ground floor x3 figs 1st floor x1 fig + what looks like a skeleton 2nd floor x1 so I see 14 figs plus a skeleton happy days

First impression of new hospital - "Hallelujah" a decent size at long last. Yes I know its a prelim pic but looks decent. Good mix of minifigs too, looks at least 14 (including those 5 on the inside). Also a requirement for 2 x LR41 batteries. Could this be a return to sound and lights for the ambulance or for the helicopters rotors?????? Depending on the price, which I expect to be towards the price of, but not as much as the Police and Fire Station range, a second set could be bought, mirror built and added to make a super hospital.

Hopefully that is not a criminal in a stripey top lurking near the wood wagon then but is a train company worker. Hard to tell if they have the criminals 'Tammy Hat' on or not. Not too sure if that is a yellow hard hat on the worker on the minifig up the access ladder or not. Also looks like it could be the Bald head 'hair piece' too that was used on the Grandpa collectable minifig from series 10

Just wondering what makes you think there is a bank robber aspect in this set, as doesn't look to be any robbery going down?

Looks like 60198 Cargo Train comes with 8 minifigs which is double that of 60052. Had a close look at the picture and the ladder going up to the tower and it looks like 2 minifigs at the top of the ladder, a male and female in an embrace!

Thanks for posting a link to satisfy the curiosity of the rest of us. Think I'm going to have to get a few of the log wagons when they come available individually on the secondary market. I was wondering if it would be compatible with 60169 Cargo Terminal. Looks like I'm going to have to get this after all. Overall quite impressed with these prelim images of both sets. I like the way the passenger train is done ie 1 engine & 2 carriages, same as Horizon Express, but I can see why others don't due to having to go to the expense of buying 2 sets to get a second engine.

And if they ban photo’s at NY toy fair there is always a chance we might have got something from Lego World, Copenhagen that runs from 15th to 18th Feb

In the designer video for the DD, Mike the designer does mention at 45 secs that 'we don't have a hotel! We need a hotel!' so maybe that was a hint and this 10269 could be a re-release of an updated cafe corner. -
Hi On the Train theme in the 2018 Train thread, they are saying that photo’s won’t be allowed on the Lego stand at Nuremberg either!

London Toy show recently hasn’t been that good for info of sets due to those attending not being allowed to take photo’s, so we have had to rely on the German and New York toy fairs for images

Looks like we will have to wait a bit longer for a Firefighter CMF as not in the leak list of series 18. -
I wonder if the new hospital will tie in with the current Ambulance Helicopter set (60179). I hope that negates the need for a helicopter with the hospital to free up parts for the main building but guess that will be wishfull thinking as the last 2 city hospitals came with their own Helicopters. Also wonder if the vehicles that come with the hospital ie some sort of Ambulance will have the same yellow and red colour scheme. Finally I wonder if there will be any link between 60179 with the hospital and the next Fun in the outdoors minifig set as the 60179 helicopter is rescueing someone doing outdoors pursuits!
