  1. Hi Kevii23, did you notice if there was a large boat with the coastguard sets? and if so, was the shape (hull), similar to the 2 previous Coastguard boats (hull 62791c01) from sets 7739 & 60014 or similar is shape (hull) to the Deep Sea Explorers boat 60095 and latest City Fire Boat 60109 (hull 18913c01)?
  2. Great addition to the Winter Village. This would fit in perfectly. All the best with your entry.
  3. I'd call customer services first. Easier explaining it over the phone and they can arrange for a replacement bag to be sent or even the parts your short of. Also it will help the track if this is a batch issue with missing parts.
  4. A redo of set 379 would be most welcome.
  5. The Airport is absolutely awesome!
  6. What a great idea for your creation eliza. Beautiful.
  7. Cheers. Thought I had seen it more recently. I just searched for Lego metal detector and the old one came up. Cheers for the update Kevii23 Happy to hear there is to be a Beach Volleyball with the Fun at the Beach set.
  8. Could there also be a minifig on rollerskates and or skateboard, skating along the prom to the beach. There is afterall a skate park at Bondi Beach! And could the be a minig combing the beach for lost coins with a metal detector. This would see the return of part #4479 not used since 2010
  9. I wonder if the 'Fun at the Beach' figures will all be new re-lease torso's like 'Fun in the Park' figures were? I would hazard a guess that the children will be wearing those wet suit type/UV protector tops to protect them from the sun. Anyway, if not all new torso's/complete figures, here are a few figures from the Collectable Minifig series that could appear or give some inspiration- Series 2 #2 Spartan (Torso) #8 Lifeguard #15 Surfer Series 3 #7 Sumo #14 Hula Dancer (Torso) Series 4 #5 Surfer Girl Series 7 #1 Swimming Champion #5 Ocean King (Torso) #10 Jungle Boy Series 9 #12 Mermaid (Torso) Series 12 #7 Lifeguard GB Team #8 Stealth Swimmer If we don't get images at the start of Feb through sources, we'll just have to wait until Lego World Denmark, 16-19 Feb and New York Toy Fair, 18-21 Feb
  10. Many thanks for posting this bit of info Kevii23, its enough to get the imagination going for now! Looks as tho some the Jungle sets will have a few 'MURP' pieces like the bigger volcano sets. Hopefully the Friends ski lift is done well as would like one of those for my ski scene.
  11. Here's what I think may come with some of the sets going by the prices listed and whats gone before! 60153 - Fun at the Beach (€ 49.49) - Hopefully this comes with a Lifeguard and high seat, Ice cream seller with cart and A vollyball net in place of the football goal. 60154 - Bus Station (€ 49.49) - Bus will probably be along the lines of the ones from 7641 City Corner and 60026 Town square for city use rather than the coach type from 8404 Public transport but will likely have a bus stance similar to the ones from 8404 and 60097 City Sq. Maybe has a car and 4 minifigs 60156 - Jungle Buggy (€ 6.99 - Sounds similar to 60105 Fire ATV. 60163 - Coast Guard Starter set (€ 10.99) - usual 4 figs related to the set with either a Jet ski or ATV 60164 - Rescue Seaplane (€ 21.99) - similar to the one from 60015 but this time without the boat 60165 - Rescue Vehicle 4x4 (€ 32.99) - Seems a high price for just a 4x4 so will be interesting to see what this is, but hopefully not oversized like 7726 Coastguard with speed boat was. 60166 - Heavy Rescue Helicopter (€ 54.99) - could be along the lines of 60093 Deap sea helicopter with twin rotars going by the name Heavy Rescue but could be similar to 60123 Volcano Suppy Helicopter due to price increases. 60167 - Coast Guard Headquarters (€ 109.99) - the one I'm looking forward to seeing and at the price expect this to have a large boat included and will have some form of on land station/hq, mini helicopter and ATV or Jet Ski. 60169 - Freight Terminal (€ 82.49) - Now is this to be this years Harbour??? but I too am hoping for something similar to set 6391 Cargo Centre with small helicopter, truck, forklift and 5 figs?
  12. I thought the new wheel arches were Land Rover style so if you put these on the catameran 4x4, then it will look even more like a Landy!
  13. Great layout. I like how the both styles of bridges have been done, but I really like the Brewery.
  14. Hi LEGO Train 12 Volts. Great reproduction of set 4547 Clubcar in the colours of the 7740 train. I know how this fits in very well with 7740, as have made one myself and currently building another. I like your take on using different viewing windows on the upper part. Did you do this for effect or the part 2582 hinge panel 2 x 4 x 3 1/3 being quite expensive?
  15. Great work as usual sasbury, but that air ambulance is an awesome build.
  16. First impression going by looks was that it is a Creator 3-in-1 set on steriods. Not what I envisaged going by the title "Assembly Square". But looking through the photo's and watching the video, there are a lot of great builds throughout and it pays homage to previous modulars. Jamie seems to think there are a lot of "nice" things included . A plus point for us in the UK is the price which is a lot cheaper than expected.
  17. Didn't expect Coast Guard until 2018 but not complaining. Looks like 6 main sets ie excluding polybags which is the same amount of sets released in this theme in 2008 and 1 more than was released in the 2013 series.
  18. Great to see a building/creation like this chosen at long last. Got to wait a whole year yet before it comes out next fall tho.
  19. I took it that LegoSjaak was hinting that it was time for him to release inside info he has on the new Modular Assembly Square!
  20. I think you could be on to a best seller if you do seeing as your bakery sounded really good. I almost though you had the press release for the next modular in your hand they way you described the bakery.. The person you first made mention about the Assembly Square, Emmi on Thursday stated details would probably be released about November. Lego are doing a frustratingly good job at preventing leaks these days to stop those pesky copycats getting a chance to make copies before TLG's own releases.
  21. As medical theme in city looks to be on a 6 year cycle, unless it comes out in the 2017 summer wave, a Fire dept ambulance with the Fire Stn would make a good (IMO) play feature in place of the standard mini helicopter that has come with the last 2 fire stations.
  22. I wonder if Lego will every make a fire station that incorporates an ambulance alongside the engine and smaller van/car in a 3 bay configuration (kept image to show representation), as there are many Fire depts over the world that run both fire and ambulance, even though here in the UK they are run separately as ambulance is NHS, but it's not uncommon to see both services share stations. Yeh it will more than likely mean a price increase as you'd have an extra bay and additional vehicle and minifigure(s), but for me it would be a nice change from the last 3 fire stations that have been very similar. Doesn't have to be every release but could be every second one.
  23. TLG missed an opportunity to mix the Fire Station release up a bit, by not releasing a Forest Fire station IMO
  24. Im starting to think that the 3 minifig faces in the corner are all actually from the same city sub theme ie Harbour/water related as one is already from the boat shown. I reckon the helmet fig is a speed/racing boat driver as we've had these type of boats in the past harbour themes and the female in construction style clothing is a worker from the harbour. Just my take on it.
  25. Nice find Klaus-Dieter. I would imagine that it's the same hull as used in the fishing boat that was in set 60015 Coast Guard Plane and on that sets box art it said the boat actually floats. I am also thinking and hoping that this will be part of a new/rebooted "Harbour" sub theme as the last harbour sub theme was in 2011, so would be a 6 year gap and in that theme they had set 4642 Fishing Boat. As for this sets box art in the top right corner with the 3 mini fig faces, not necessarily from the set but the city line in general, could this be the way for city box art in the future?
