  1. Yep, I think Crazy Ted did a great job with this contest.
  2. I just finished building 8109 and just wanted to say it's a surprisingly excellent model. 2010 was a good year for Technic. Just to clarify, I think mr. Ryan is referring to http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32250
  3. That looks awesome and very original! Can't wait to see your final entry!
  4. You're right, I just checked on Bricklink and there was an alternate version released without the metallic silver wheels and pin joiners. Kind of lame, but I guess Freekysch didn't get ripped off then (well, depends if he thinks it was worth the price).
  5. Looks like you're missing the metallic silver pin joiners (without slot) as well. Those are quite expensive, just like the metallic silver wheels. I think you might have been ripped off
  6. No metallic silver wheels? Did you buy the set off Bricklink and was it listed as complete?
  7. Looks pretty badass, but I doubt he has made instructions.
  8. 8285 has some nice metallic silver parts though, and a lot of useful panels.
  9. Then I suggest you sign up, it's worth it
  10. It's this part, very cheap: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32529
  11. Sounds interesting, thanks for keeping us updated!
  12. Hence the only Duplo bricks allowed ;-)
  13. Next contest will be to build a fully functional RC excavator using only duplo bricks
  14. I'm curious about this as well, got some more information?
  15. Hm, that could work as well ofcourse. Let's see how expensive those studded cylinders are...
  16. Simply start building a model, then scale it down/remove excess parts to get it to around 500?
  17. Cool, let us know if it worked! I think it's strong enough.
  18. There is an 'export options' link above the inventory, Brickstore is one of the supported formats. I can highly recommend signing up to Rebrickable, and importing your part list there. You can then easily see which sets and MOCs you can build using your parts, or which parts are missing for a particular set/MOC. Managing your parts collection on Rebrickable is a bit of a hassle however, you might want to use Brickstore or Basebrick.com (also highly recommended) for that, and import the collection into Rebrickable each time you add/remove parts.
  19. It needs four L motors though, so won't be cheap ;-)
  20. Looks nice! I would use shorter panels for the sides of the cabin roof though.
  21. I just finished building the 8448 (finally found a cheap copy), and I must say it's also quite a beauty. I love the folding roof, very elegant mechanism. No panel overkill, but elegant use of hoses and soft axles for contouring.
  22. Good luck! It's also on my to-build list, but I have a lot of MOCs I need to build first ;)
  23. I need some as well, the ones on my 8461 are getting quite bad. By the way, it's definitely one of the most gorgeous Technic models TLC have ever released.
