  1. You mean those metallic silver pin joiners? Keep them yes, they're not worth that much.
  2. You got my vote on Cuusoo :)
  3. Cool contest :) Are chromed parts allowed?
  4. That's not a bad thing though, that way we MOC'ers can improve things :-)
  5. Welcome both to Eurobricks! Enjoy life as an AFOL ;-) I can really recommend Rebrickable.com if you want to find and build more MOCs like this one. Parts you can order at Bricklink.com.
  6. Tell that Russian to buy a better camera ;-) But yes, I was also reminded of 9396. Probably the shape of the nose.
  7. That looks like a lot of white panels indeed. Also looks like body can easily be lengthened to create a proper transport plane. Very promising all in all.
  8. Really, really, curious about that plane. Thanks for the information. When was the last time TLG has done a proper plane anyway (not counting that red 'jet' a few years ago)?
  9. I hadn't seen that one yet, interesting.
  10. Not a fan of the colour scheme, but it looks very solid :) Well done. The link to Sariel's website does not work, by the way.
  11. TLG stopped producing valves with studs in 2004, but you can still quite easily buy them on BL (though not cheap).
  12. I've got all parts for this MOC (including a 24t clutch gear), and it's on my build list. Looking forward to building it!
  13. Excellent, I have both the LiPo and a V2 receiver. Thanks for your information.
  14. I was wondering if the RC buggy can reach its full potential with the V1 receiver, as its maximum current is limited? V2 can sustain more IIRC.
  15. That looks like a good solution! Some autovalves use small 8 tooth gears on top of the valve switch, in combination with a worm gear, to switch the valve lever, but these gears might pop off unless you happen to own tight ones. This solution works in all cases. Thanks for posting this.
  16. I just ordered a new RC buggy motor because I want to build some fast racers. I'm wondering about how well the motor mixes with PF parts though. Is it safe to connect the RC buggy motor to the PF receiver? And would both v1 and v2 of the PF receiver work? As a power supply I will use the rechargeable PF battery box.
  17. Your son chose wisely then, they look badass.
  18. What's with all the motorcycles on Eurobricks lately? Not complaining though, this one is gorgeous as well. Lovely usage of chrome.
  19. You can buy sets yes, but often it's more cost-effective to order the missing loose parts via Bricklink.
  20. Looks pretty cool, it gives off a creepy vibe due to it's insect-like walk :)
  21. Just use Bricklink yeah. I only built the truck of this, skipped the lowloader. Saves me from buying a lot of studded Lego ;)
