  1. great enrty from a great builder ahaha You can use it togheter with my yellow/red dawnbreaker ahahah great work !! PS: it reminds me the Storm talon gunship :3
  2. that system was used in The LTR Race To make work lots od steerings without An RTC module, they used An XL motor with The coaxial 3:1 gearing (90 degree o The steering Wheel= 270 degree of the XL motor) and an M motor for The steering, unfortunatelly due To the loss of power also the speed of The generatore (almost only The speed) matter To generate energy so it was difficult To steer
  3. I see that those hotrod you are inspiring has wider wheels on The back But not taller than The front ones, you could use 42009 wheel for The front The ones of the 8070 for The Back anyway this is a Good start!
  4. I want To be American :( chain are To emulate The real one, And also they work better that gears yes i'm going To put The body on The MKII chassis, with a small LA to move the flipper unfortunatelly i don't have neither an airtank nor space To fit It in
  5. thanks! the best site of the world  something like this IMO :3
  6. I've made some important progress; what I've built is a test chassis with the pneumatic tongue, it works fine but it doesn't fit into the shield real chassis: hided tongue: showed tongue: here is the autovalve: and without electronics this is the part of the chassis that fit into the shield: testrun video will be uploaded soon!
  7. something useful for this thread: Torsen Differential, How it works ?:
  8. i only know that e-revo 1:10 And summit are one o The best offroad/crawler (summit) cars; i have The 1:16 e-revo (bigger brackets than The slash) and it is perfec for high speed on offroad and some crawling, but I think than is difficult To replicate that geometries for The suspension with lego due to The particular angulation of some parts
  9. thanks for the explanation! topic Will start when i Can make photos/videos yes maybe... But I Hope you like those Cars thanks for the feedback! yes i made all this for fun, And if one of those chassis will join the acc competition i'll be the happiest Person of the word *-* the yellow one has An RC motor versione that is really impressive, And The Black one with lipo drifts really well, also Hope i can upload a video for the dawnbraker Soon, only i've To Edit it LDD will be uploaded To topics ;)
  10. same toughts! It is for The round eye and for all those studded pannel
  11. As promised (I know I'm a bit late ) my new project! Recyclopse from robot wars it was a big roundish bot with an exendible tongue that has a flipper hided into it, Made with recyled materials: recycl-opse As usual i start building from the aesthetics, because i have few pieces to make that green shield, this is the shield with the tongue and a try to put electronics inside I used dark green bricks (the only i have) that has the same color of the real one but the result is a piramidal shape, fit everything in will be an hard challenge I thought about three options: -one RC motor (pump+valve) for the flipper, L/M motor for tongue extension -one M motor for the flipper; one L motor for tongue extension -one XL motor for tongue extension, at the end of the travel two strings linked to the chassis will act the flipper (M motors are for the wheels, trough chains) hope I can make sole tries asap, last hope is to make a 2 section angulation for the shield (=more space) but this means gray shield or maybe with mixed pieces... receivers will replace that green transparent brick
  12. tl/dr? if this is your way To ask ore, here there is one :3
  13. well... unfortunayelly I can't film The Race nor I see that this project could be interesting for you, but don't worry, i've already stared a New project impossible To guess ;) I'm going To start The Topic this afternoon
  14. i Think that for this drivertrain sispension like the 9398 (articulation+shocks absorbers) will work good, i Don't know if skid steering will cause problems, But you could try tatra suspension your is a great idea!
  15. Ok, ad said you can sue the dame procedure with that motor, or follow Duq suggestions
  16. what do you mean with RC motors? the black technic ones? if you're talking about them the solution is simple, you have to be sure tha the cable is connected right on the motor: -keep out the motors -place them near and on the same position (all two with the long part in the same direction. ex those are opposed position) -connect the extension wire with the wire in the same direction (all that goes right, left up, is indifferent) -make a try, motors run in opposed directions? -unplug one wire, plug in 180 degree rotated this procedure (if I've explained it well) works with every 9V connector, because the can be plugged in 4 different positions, opposed positions have reverse polarity
  17. This is my first teaser :3 (I'm so proud of it ) i want to open this thread in order to ask people if they could be interested on my work, so, going to the main topic: I joined a small exhibition here in Rome where I showed four simple RC lego cars, three of them are mine (showed also in only one of my post here on Eurobricks :3) the fourth is the Dawnbreaker and I hope I can film a video for it, so I can add to the original thread a comparison with the other chassis, that are: -green stylized trophy truck -yellow stylized Tyrrell P34 -black stylized hot rod (maybe with driver that make it drift really well muhahaah) "stylized" because I want to build small car and I don't have lots of pieces for the aesthetics, but I guarantee the look nice ;) My problem is that I don't have time to film (for the offroad ones I need a whole saturday free of tasks, so for me isn't a simple work to fully present a MOC) and some times i know that the look of my creations don' catch the attention of lots of people I don't want to make empty topics ;) so i decided to ask how i should organize those "simple chassis series" topics, my idea is: -3 different topic -topic as review of the car -techniques used in the cars -small test video -video with description and some clip running outdoors -a final topic (yes :3) with the video of a tournament between those cars the same kind of LTIR competition The different topic (posted with a gap of 3-4 days) could be a tutorial for people who want to start building something funny with lego, and they will find 4 different cars with 4 different difficulties and 4 different kind of pieces (common or rare); I also want to build LDD file for each car and change the file for the dawnbreaker in a better one. What you think about this organization of the topics? should I post only one topic with all the cars together? Also if videos will be uploaded really late? Also if you want to suggest another kind of chassis that I can make to substitute the dawnbreaker feel free to suggest it, and if you have built a chassis of this kind i can build and review it as one of the chassis but not mine, so we can see which is the best during the race! Goodbye!
  18. one of mine Best drifing chassis was a simple chassis with those wheels, xl motor 5:1 and a lipo bb, The steering is made with an m motor+rubber RTC and the car can drift wothout make donuts on the marble, unfortunatelly I fail to make the 8 figure But It was really funny! congratulation piterx You deserve those Person that follow you, your work is really great!
  19. There is o ne odio those programs, better than LDD for Mac?
  20. great work man! unfortunatelly I don't have enogh plates or technic bricks To make a work that requires so good aestethics but I'm sure you can make it The best it can be! if you have buggy motors you should try them, The small diameter of a track wheel make them have enogh torque Not To overload battery under high torque, but it will become fast as the car!
  21. Could you post a photo? Because I can't understan what you mean, if 5th wheel is a spate wheel, but the 8285 b hasn't got any kind of 5th wheel... So please tell me, i'm becoming crazy searching into 8285 instruction, but maybe i don't understand be cause of my English knowledge
  22. Don't know if is right to post it here but there is a mistake in the wall of fame, the topic link in the hilux post of 8th january take me To the lincoln topic, maybe a cut© mistake Also another question, the gaz 51 sure has To be in the wall of fame, but not with modified part as it has on the roof... maybe a version with tlg parts, I know that the thread is there To show the best MOCs, Not To make us able To build it with our pieces (without cutting it) but if they are the best MOCs they has To be built in tlg parts, I am right? talking about axles i have lots of 3M and 5M black axles due to my old extreme offroader set, but a couple of gray 6M axles that make me mistake lots of time while building only i don't know from what set
  23. To get the video just delete the s in https before start the procedure to embeed them ;) i'll write a bit more in this post when i'll read the mocpage post :3 lovely choise the titan! Bit maybe it is enough powerful To support less gear reductions SORRY FOR EDITING THIS POST MANY TIME but I think this could ve useful just write [-media] *link without "s" [-/media] delete the "-" in the writing between "[" "]"
